Magnífica casa de troncos frente al mar con 650 pies de costa y espectaculares vistas al agua.

Hermosa casa costera contemporánea en un entorno sereno y privado en 12. 5 acres, esta propiedad atrae a aquellos que disfrutan de magníficas vistas al agua y la belleza escénica de la costa de granito rosa de Maine. Observe la abundante vida marina como focas, marsopas y nutrias retozando en la bahía mientras disfruta de su café matutino desde nuestras sillas Adirondack en la costa o sobre la protuberancia de granito rosa. Ubicado para capturar vistas espectaculares desde cada habitación, el primer piso tiene una cocina de concepto abierto con un refrigerador y horno nuevos (2019), sala de estar con un sofá cama doble, área de comedor, 2 porches cerrados con mucho vidrio, un baño / cuarto de lavado y un dormitorio principal y baño completo con jacuzzi y ducha. El piso de arriba tiene un gran loft con un sofá cama Queen, biblioteca y sala de estar que ofrece magníficas vistas del agua. Más allá del loft hay un dormitorio con 2 camas individuales que se pueden convertir en un rey y otro dormitorio (recién agregado 2017) con una cama queen size. Un baño completo (completamente renovado en 2017) también está arriba. La casa está recién equipada con aire acondicionado central.
Tanto las familias como las parejas disfrutarán explorando la extensa costa rocosa y el área de la playa. Puede lanzar su kayak o canoa desde cualquiera de nuestras 2 calas en la propiedad. Las mareas de 12 pies ofrecen vistas dramáticamente diferentes de la costa y las calas durante el día y la noche, y ofrecen una variedad de actividades que se pueden realizar en diferentes niveles de marea. También hay un gran claro que ofrece mucho espacio para juegos de césped y reuniones.

We initially booked this property for two nights to celebrate my 40th birthday, then booked another night because we didn't want to leave! The outdoor space is very serene, with a little bit of everything - water access, mossy areas, trees and lawn space - giving options for sun, shade and various activities. Enjoying the stars, birds, wildlife, tide and light changes was very relaxing (on-site wood for the campfire was priceless). The house was cozy and well-equipped, though we spent the vast majority of our time outdoors. Venturing away from the property one day to see Jasper Beach and then visiting Acadia Park on our way back home to VT were both well worthwhile. If you're looking for a peaceful, private retreat and appreciate nature, this is the place.

I can’t wait to come back. It was the perfect house for my family’s stay in Maine. The house was very private and peaceful. There were so many windows to look out at the beautiful bay. The kitchen had all we needed. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Dry weather prevented us from using the firepit, but in the right season would be amazing. The yard was well kept for my kids to play. A 40-50min drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia was very manageable. Seriously want to make this house a reoccurring destination for my family.

We were very impressed and happy with our accommodations. The home was just as it appears in the pictures, clean and cozy. The location was beautiful. We sat each morning at the waters edge watching the sun warm the day and enjoyed a fire in the evening watching the moon and stars dance upon the bay. Would not hesitate to spend time here again! Thank you for sharing this little piece of heaven with us.

Amazing place to stay!!

My family and I have been vacationing in Maine for 30 years and this was by far our favorite place to stay. The house is very clean, comfortable and well appointed, it even has central air! The property is extremely quiet and peaceful with a beautiful water front view. We took advantage of the fire pit a few of the nights; nothing better than gathering around the fire after a busy day while the kids roast marshmallows. We brought our kayaks and swam in the small cove. The house is set way back off the road for privacy but only 10 minutes to town. There is a lot to do on the peninsula, including Acadia and we even took the ferry over to bar harbor one day. The owner is friendly and quick to respond, check in and check out is very fast and easy. Book this house now, you will be glad you did!

Beautiful Cabin

We had a lovely family vacation and the cabin and setting were beautiful. Exactly what we needed! Plenty of privacy in this gorgeous setting on the water as well as a great location for exploring Acadia. The cabin was well appointed with any amenity we could could need. We would love to come back again!

Lovely stay on the bay!

My family of four had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The home was equipped with everything we needed, beds were very comfortable especially after all the wonderful hikes we found. There is a lovely organic farm right down the street too. Would highly recommend.

View and property were magnificent! The house was comfortable and flowed well. A well appointed kitchen and eating area helped us enjoy numerous family meals and each other’s company. We would highly recommend this property!

Great property

We had a wonderful stay with family- plenty of space for all. House was clean and comfortable. We loved the board games and puzzles. We didn’t get to see any sea life but we did see plenty of deer. Even being overcast and rainy couldn’t take away from the amazing views. Our only want would have been a little later check out ….10 am was rough. We would definitely stay again.

Cute and secluded little cabin

Susan's property was beautiful! We loved staying by the water, using the firepit, and being separated from city living. The house is a little out of the way so make sure to get any shopping done in the daytime but it makes the nights so dark; it was perfect for stargazing over the water. Definitely would stay again!

This property is SOOOOOOOOOOO beautiful. The photos do not do it justice. it is a stunning home and amazing outdoor space. The firepit overlooking the bay gives guests the opportunity to enjoy the tranquility and wildlife that host you. Bar Harbor vs. Gouldsboro --Select this property. Bar Harbor is a short ferry ride from Winter Harbor, which is only a 10–15-mile drive from the home. Enjoy the fun of Bar Harbor then retreat back to your peaceful oasis. For your seafood needs to cook at home, visit Maine Fresh Catch Market in Trenton. They sell the best lobster, clams and many other seafoods, along with cooking guidance. If coming in from the south, stop for your grocery needs in Ellsworth at Hannafords. Our family would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to the homeowners for allowing us to be their guests. This home is a true gem. Book your stay NOW.

Gorgeous setting

Each morning looking out on the bay was spectacular. So serene and beautiful. The house was just enough for our family of 4. The beach is not really a beach for swimming because it is a mud that you sink into, but it would be a great spot for kayaking! Proximity to Schoodic was a plus. We made several trips onto Mt Desert Island throughout the week. Would definitely recommend!

The views!

What a fantastic property!!!!! The views are just breathtaking! Kitchen was well equipped and we even used the gas grill to have a cookout one night. We ended up extending our stay! 10/10 would recommend! Note: The large supermarket is quite far away and the small markets in the area aren’t great. I suggest you go grocery shopping ahead of time on your way to the property as it’s difficult to just “run to the store”.

Comfy & Cozy

We had a lovely stay here. The place was beautiful and had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the views of the bay and the fire pit. There were some local, coastal spots nearby that were nice to visit. The drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor was approximately an hour away.

Bayfront Cabin

This beautiful cabin was so peaceful. The windows provided lots of natural light and fresh air. The listing was just as described offered a stocked kitchen and many extras that made our stay wonderful!

Can’t get any better!

This cabin has it all for everyone! The loft was great for our 4 year old to play games with and sun room for anyone who wanted a little warmer than the cool breeze in the morning. My favorite was the fire pit and a good fire each night and watch the tide come in. We loved this place! We will be back again!
