The Space:

Welcome to Four Winds 402! Take in the stunning panoramic views of the emerald coast from your large, private balcony; relax on the sugar white sand; take a swim or soak in the pool or hot tub. Little ones (and parents) will appreciate the kiddie pool as well! With only 36 units, Four Winds is one of the few low-density complexes located in the heart of Orange Beach. 



Unit 402 can sleep 6 with a king bed in the bedroom, hallway bunkbeds, and a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. Interior amenities include two Smart TVs, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer unit, and high-end cotton linens and towels. 



Complex amenities include an outdoor pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, charcoal grilling area, boardwalk to the beach, and elevator.



You'll love all that Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and the surrounding areas have to offer. Whether you are looking for fun and adventures, or simply a relaxing place to unwind, there are plenty of options to suit your needs. On the beach, chairs and umbrellas are available for a small daily fee. Walk right out to the beach and start relaxing! Close by you’ll find a variety of restaurants, plus The Wharf, Owa, dolphin cruises, jet ski rentals, parasailing, Adventure Island, shopping, and Gulf State Park, just to name a few things!

Choose another place. This place could be a 10 with some easy fixes and better customer service but I don’t think that’s going to happen. They DO NOT guarantee your room will be ready by 4 but are inflexible on 10 am checkout. Also, non-functioning TV for 2 days, broken recliner, back sliding glass door would not lock, rusty and loudly leaking faucets in kitchen and shower. I asked for a measly hour extra for check out considering all the defects but they were completely inflexible but were very open to charging me up to 100 to check out later-meaning they had no arriving occupants. And exterminator barged in our room the day before. Plus The inspector just walked in our condo 15 minutes before our 10am checkout WITHOUT knocking. No apologies, then said he was told we were already gone which was untrue. Yes, it’s beachfront access is great but Honestly, there are tons of beachfront places. I wouldn’t go to this one. Too many little aggravations and zero apology from the owner. As if to say “Hey it’s a great location, deal with it”. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else

The only complaints I have (which are incredibly minimal) are three things: A) maintenance works outside of your rooms (I.e. blowers, trash, etc) at unreasonable times before 8 a.m. and most people want to sleep in on vacation. B) the bathroom is a little outdated and the faucet in the bathtub drips nonstop- not unreasonable and annoying, but nonetheless full time. C) The kitchen utensils as far as things to cook with a little scarce- not a good can opener, no measuring spoons, etcHowever, none of these are dealbreakers to stay here. Great place. Master bed, bunks and couch bed are all super comfortable. Refrigerator keeps things super cold. Oven works great! And, the view is amazing!

Everything was great except the pool chairs were the most uncomfortable chair I have ever layed in.

Very good for price.

The condo building needs some TLC. Rust showing on pipes etc where metal is exposed. Unit itself could use some of the furniture renewed. Overall though enjoyed the stay..

Place was old and outdated. Smelled musty and full of mold on popcorn ceilings. Carpet looked 30 years old. All cabinet doors were about to fall off. Fan did not work in bathroom. Sliding door was hard to open from outside would have been nice to have tv instructions uncomfortable and broken furniture

Great view, Living Room furniture needs to be updated

We stayed in this condo for two months. Loved the ocean view location. Property manager was very responsive to the two small issues we had. Great kitchen, comfortable bed. Nice shower. The living room recliner does not recline, the couch is old, saggy and creaky. The sleep sofa pulled out after 3 of us worked at it for 15 minutes, but we could not use it because the bed had a serious slant/tilt. Did not call mgt., as it was midnight and did not think anyone would show up at that late hour. There is a useless, empty, old TV cabinet in the living room that takes up space and needs to be removed! We did not call about the furniture complaints, as did not think mgt. would be amenable to replacing the sofa sleeper and recliner during our stay. Comments are FYI for future renters.

I’ll start off first off by saying the price nightly was not bad, which is why I booked this unit. It was just a small weekend getaway for my family of 4. 2 adults 2 kids. So we weren’t looking for anything fancy. However, next time I will pay a more to have a better quality unit. There were so many things I was unsatisfied with.It was a hot day. The temperature outside was high 70s. When we walked into the unit, the air conditioner was set to 74 so it was a turn off from the start. We couldn’t relax as the couch was rock hard. The recliner was no better, it also didn’t recline. So, we decided to go on the balcony. The door handle to get to the balcony was broken. (I messaged management about it just for it to be notated that it was broken when I got there) they never responded to the text or called. However, we did not need them to come out because we did have a workaround to get the door open. Coming back into the condo, it was a bit difficult as there is not a real handle on the outside. It was very difficult to open from the outside. The towels and sheets were very rough. I swear those sheets felt like construction paper. The bright light coming into the bedroom window was very disappointing. It couldn’t be turned off neither. The unit itself is very outdated and needs to be thoroughly deep cleaned and repainted and updated. The pool had no umbrellas and zero shade. No gazebo. Nothing to protect us from the sun. I literally was baking in the sun while my kids swam.
