5 couples stayed for 3 nights over New Years Eve.Pros: Host was easy to work with. Property easy to find. Property was well stocked with paper products, kitchen items and bath towels etc. Overall the property was very nice. As the weather was cold we did not open the "garage" door or take advantage of the outside area. In warm weather it would be a great place to hang out. Large parking area. Close to Patoka Lake. We visited West Baden hotel & French Lick casino. Instructions for operating things in the house were clearly posted.Cons: All the bathrooms were on the first floor, so anyone using the upstairs bedrooms would have to come down to use the facilities. Not so good for seniors in the middle of the night. The upstairs had a slanted roof which was low; one of our group kept hitting his head. The microwave was inside a cabinet which made it hard to use. We never got hot water in the kitchen sink. Bathroom showers had warm water but not hot. The large dining table was a great area for our group to eat but made playing cards & games difficult as it was very wide. The entrances to the house were a little odd; access to the patio was only through bedroom doors unless you went out the back door, down the steps and walked around the house to the patio. The bedrooms did not have closets, dressers or a place to put your suitcase other than the floor.Nice house; would recommend but be aware of the bathroom situation.
