Welcome to your newly remodeled home base in the Finger Lakes! This spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath home has been fully updated with all the comforts of modern living — including two cozy living rooms, a four-season sunroom with built-in speakers, and a completely redone lower level with its own living space, kitchenette, and laundry. Tucked in a quiet lakeside community, you'll also enjoy exclusive access to a private canal-side fire pit and dock—just a 5-minute walk away.

Guest Access:

You’ll have full access to the entire home, inside and out, with easy self-check-in. While the home is not located directly on the water, guests enjoy private access to the nearby canal, including a dock, fire pit, and furnished deck — all for your exclusive use during your stay.



The Neighborhood:

Canal Side Cottage is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood just off the canal near Seneca Lake. Just a 5-min walk to exclusive guest-only canal access with a private dock, fire pit, grill, and seating. While the area feels peaceful and private, you're just minutes from restaurants, wineries, marinas, a steakhouse, state park, and more. ⚠️ Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM, as required by local ordinance.



Getting Around:

A car is highly recommended for exploring the area. Private taxis/car services and private wine tours are available.



Other Things to Note:

➡️ PLEASE NOTE THE HOUSE IS NOT DIRECTLY ON THE CANAL- the canal access is a 5 minute walk or 1 minute drive away and is for guest use only. It is not shared with any other neighbors

➡️ A Pack ’n Play is available BY REQUEST ONLY and provided free of charge. Please let us know in advance if you’d like one so we can have it ready for your arrival.

➡️ Please note: We provide cooking basics, with the exception of oil at this time—it will be included in the future.

➡️ Boat Docking ALLOWED – Guests are welcome to dock boats at the nearby private canal access associated with the property.

➡️ Quiet Hours Enforced – The town observes quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM. This ordinance is enforced and must be followed during your stay.

➡️ Guest Agreement Required – All guests are required to sign Get RED-y Vacations' rental agreement prior to check-in.

➡️ The stove in the basement kitchen is not for use- but the fridge and microwave are

➡️ Use Amenities at Your Own Risk – The fire pit, canal deck, and game room are available for your enjoyment, but please use them responsibly and at your own risk.

Perfect place to stay in the Geneva area

The house was perfect! Everything is brand new and the location was great. Geneva, Seneca Lake, wineries, breweries, great restaurants are close by. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a brand new grill. Fun yard games, nice speaker system and a fabulous sunroom. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed for the Deck the Halls event on Seneca Lake. The house was centrally located to many great wineries and breweries. The home was clean and cozy and had all the comforts of home. The host provided a bottle of wine for our arrival and provided everything needed for a great stay. The weather was cold so we did not get to enjoy the great outdoor space, nor did we find it necessary to heat the porch which was so inviting. Highly recommend this beautiful and comfy home.

This was a great place to stay. Nice neighborhood, quiet, nice big fenced back yard. Living room chairs were awesome, I might order for my house!

The house is nicely situated between Geneva and Waterloo and very close to Seneca Lake State Park which has well paved trails for nice walks along Seneca Lake. Very close to numerous wineries and only about a 40 minute drive to Watkins Glen State Park for some fantastic hiking. The kitchen is fully furnished with nice appliances. Overall space is nice with a lovely private backyard to sit outside. Although we didn’t use the grill, there is a grill and all the grilling accessories that were readily available. The house looks like it has been remodeled and has many great updates; very clean.
