Vacation with friends

A friends trip, our group have not vacationed together for 25 years! We had a spectacular view and could not have had a better time! The property was right on the beach!

Perfect!!

My husband and I had a wonderful trip! Very convenient, everything from bathrooms right by the pool, to getting to your room from the elevators, minimal walking distance to rooms and beach. One of the top places we have stayed for convenience for sure! Our place was clean and comfortable and had the relaxing vibe all the way around. Loved it!! : )

Relaxation

This trip was a birthday gift for my partner. She truly enjoyed being away from home with the ability, convenience and access to the beach and other locations. This place was the perfect spot and we truly felt relaxed. My only complaint was going somewhere else to pick up and drop off the keys and passes but overall i still recommend it.

When we arrived for check in , the lady advised me they were doing (parking lot ) construction. When we arrived at the until they were in fact working on the building. They were removing concrete from the building using jack hammers/ power tools that was extremely loud. The first day I called an ask for the for the commode to be repaired so we could flush it without sticking our hand in the tank, took four days. Then the refrigerator went out and spoiled all of our food and took 5 days for repair.

Great family vacy

When we arrived the condo was clean (no sand on the floor, but there was some in the dresser drawers), we've stayed at the Seacrest in the past, and it's a nice location, right on the beach which is very convenient. It's an older condo, but has been maintained well. We had an issue with the clothes dryer and the property management contacted the owner and it was replaced. Other than that, it was a little cozy for 5 people, but we survived 😁. Great family vacation.

Nice place

Condo was just like advertise and in the most current reviews. Sliding door very hard to open and close, not enough silverware for a family of 6. We did have two problems that we had to call the office manager about and they took care of them promptly.

Ocean front was beautiful. Condo was a bit dated and the sliding door to the patio was very very hard to open. The seal in glass was broke so was hard to see out the door to the ocean unless it was open. Closet door in bedroom was off tract. But all in all nice resort and I would stay again.

Great spot!

My son and I stayed here for a week and loved every second. It is a smaller unit but it was perfect for us or for a small family. Close to everything, easy access to the beach, super close covered parking spot. Couldn't have asked for anything better. We will be back! Only 2 things to note, the dials on the oven have rubbed off so you basically have to guess your temps. And the back door is crazy hard to slide. You get the hang of it a couple days in. But its rough. Otherwise great property!

Needs improvement

Unit was a bit overpriced for not having any beach amenities & you having to bring your own supplies (toilet paper,papertowels,etc). Sliding door was very hard to open/close, remotes didn't work, bedroom stayed hot, bed was uncomfortable & made noises everytime you moved & blinds did not fully cover window so whoever walked by could see in if the light was on. Pros- it was easy to find,great view & booking/check-in/out process was smooth & easy. We've stayed in better places for cheaper price.

Nice place

Nice condo and great location. Door lock ja.s and is hard to lock and unlock. Called the agency about it and they said they would come right out to fix it, but never did. Sofa bed feels like sleeping on wires and springs, very very uncomfortable, I suggest bringing a blow up mattress to put on it. Internet is very very slow and no cable TV, have to depend on the slow internet that keeps cutting off and on.

Enjoyed the condo. The only problem was the sliding glass door was extreamly hard to open and close.... it really should be replaced. The patio furniture needs to be replaced because the legs of the chairs have rusted causing the legs to be uneven, therefore not comfortable to sit on patio. The kitchen could use more silverware, only enough for 2..... so if a family of 4 stays they would benefit having more silverware.

Beyond Nasty!! And super rude!

First one of our keys didn’t work. Second our TV didn’t work, stayed on phone for an hour and had to have maintenance come fix. Third the condo is beyond nasty. You are better off sleeping in the streets. There were stains all over the bed, carpet and rugs. Paint is peeling off everywhere. 2nd night our tub wouldn’t drain and maintenance was so rude and didn’t call back until after 2 hours and by that time my husband fixed it. The pool area was closed two days of the visit too. This condo is a major construction sight too. Used toilet seats just out everywhere. Straight up a trashy place. I tried messaging the host and they were so rude. Said to call main office, well they were closed when we did. When I asked for another number they said we have sent you emails in the past vs just giving me the dang number. Please please please do yourself a favor and do not stay here!!

Needs TOTAL overhaul

The best thing about the property is location. Unfortunately I believe this property hasn't been renovated in ages. It's a hazard in that most of the plug ins only 1/2 work, some don't work at all. The bathtub doesn't drain properly, the pillows were terribly stained 🤢, the mattresses were so uncomfortable that we had to buy an air mattress, the oven knob is so old all the numbers are rubbed off, so it's a guess as to what temperature you're setting. There were zero cleaning supplies..except a vacuum with a hole in the tubing, so if you vacuum sand up, it shoots out the side. Water stains on the bathroom walls, TV doesn't work. Basically..this place was a disaster. For $1200 for 4 nights, I CERTAINLY expected better. Extremely disappointed. 2 out of 10 at the very most.

Memorial Day Weekend 2015

This condo does have a great view of the beach! It was very roomy, and nice to have an elevator to get all of your stuff up to the room. It is located on the west part of Gulf Shores, which is quiet and perfect for a relaxing weekend. I also noticed the clean smell as soon as we walked in, and the place did seem pretty clean. My only complaint/suggestion is that this unit needs to be updated. We got a condo because we wanted a kitchen to cook to save money. The stove is pretty old and there are NO numbers on any of the dials. When we were cooking with the oven, we had to guess the temperature. The furniture is very outdated and the mattresses and pillows are not very comfortable and seem pretty old. I'm in my mid 30's and my back hurt every morning from the lumpy bed. The sink in the bathroom needs to be replaced as there is a ton of rust in it that is not very appealing. Overall, this place is in a great location and has a great view of the ocean. I would stay here again only if there were no other condos available. To the owner: Please do some investing in your property. It will be worth it in the long run because people will want to come back. Make the place pretty. The dated decor and the overwhelming number of palm trees is unattractive. My grandmother might like it, though.

Has potential but needs work

This unit has a lot of potential however it is lacking in maintenance and cleanliness. It says it was remodeled in 2018 however aside from paint and new furniture I’m not sure what else could have been done. The dryer was broken and was unable to be fixed during our stay because they didn’t have the spare part. It was outdated and had rust in it as well. The ceiling was the old popcorn ceiling and had a lot of black on it in the living and kitchen area. The air wasn’t cooling well either when we first arrived. We checked the filter because the vent leading to it was filthy. When we opened it the filter was disgusting and had not been changed since 2019 per the date written on it. The seal to the balcony door seems to be broken and even though you’ve paid for a beach view unless you fight to open the door to go the balcony you can’t see anything except a fogged door. If you used the stove you had to guess the temperature as the number on the knobs were rubbed off. The TVs don’t work as well. The living area one worked for a bit then the sound stopped. The one in the bedroom didn’t work at all. The door in the bedroom closet was broken as well. The unit needs a very thorough deep cleaning. We wiped down everything with Lysol and purchased sheets to sleep on due to Covid and the lack of overall cleanliness of the unit. The location of the condo however was great. It was a very short walk to the elevators and beach. The unit also comes with a covered parking spot which is great. I think my favorite part of the unit was the rockers on the balcony. They were nice and very relaxing. Overall I think with some updates and much needed attention and cleaning this unit as the potential to be very nice.

Perfect fall break

This was the perfect little condo for a wonderful, relaxing family beach vacation. It had everything we needed to hang out, make most of our meals, relax and cool off between soaking up the beach and gulf. Restaurant and little store in walking distance were good and convenient. The kids loved the pool. We didn’t need and wouldn’t ask for more.

The condo was very nice overall, but some of the appliances need updating.

ALL of the numbers to gauge temperature on the oven and stove were completely worn off! We like to cook while at the beach, but it was a complete guessing game. Sleeping amenities were nice. Condo was clean. Gulf front view was beautiful. Update the oven to improve the overall experience.

Nasty

I do not recommend this condo the anyone. It was nasty. Rotting boards under kitchen cabinets. Bathroom vanity looked like it had been chewed on by rats. Rugs smelled of mold and mildew and the shower curtain smelled of urine. We had to replace it before we could shower. Bedroom carpet was so nasty your feet turned black walking on it. Old and out dated furniture looked and smelled like it came out of grandma's cellar. Scale 1-5 I give it a -10. Do not stay here! The one star I rated it was for the view definitely not the condo.
