This rural cottage sits on 3 + acres that boarder nearby farmland. It hàs several shade trees and a babbling brook running thru the property. Inside you will find 3 bedrooms and a loft. 2 full bathrooms, (1 ensuite off the primary bedroom.) This recently remodeled home has a full stocked kitchen and a gas fireplace in the living room. Enjoy the patio and outside firepit on a clear night.
Spend your day hiking and kayaking at one of the nearby state parks. Enjoy the slopes at The Wisp Resort or the beach and boat launch at Deep Creek Lake. Free WiFi included.

This house was wonderful!! It is close to the road but the traffic was not annoying to us. The first night we drove past the driveway not knowing it was beside the barn. The house is cozy with fleece blankets for snuggling under while relaxing watching tv or reading. Lots of room for the family to spread out.

We loved the house. Don’t let the outside deceive you. Plenty of room for us and it was very cozy. The hosts were very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

My friends arrived ahead of me. When I came in their response says it all: "Oh my gosh, Joyce, this is so much more than we expected!" The home is very well appointed and there is plenty of room and nooks to break away for quiet time.Thank you Mark and SherryJoycePS Mark rescued us when we got caught in a rain shower. That's going above our expectations!

Excellent stay in this charming, quiet location! House was very clean and a great place to stay for five adults. The bedrooms offered plenty of privacy for the various couples, and there were multiple common areas to gather and disperse. Lovely and quiet neighborhood.

Quaint little place

We stayed at this home for a week and enjoyed getting away to this woodsy area. We saw deer everyday on our walks. It’s a little out of the way (just what we needed, lol) but not so far that things were difficult to access by any means. House was recently renovated and we found it to be clean. Communication with the owners was easy. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if our travel plans brought us back to the area.

We traveled here to visit the Wisp Resort for skiing and we arrived around 8PM at night and it was extremely dark. It would be nice to have some lights outside so we can see the property. Overall, the inside is beautiful and the area is very quiet which is nice. There were multiple rooms and one of the rooms the quilt had hair on it as well as the carpet in the living space had some hair/lint perhaps. There also some dust and hair in one of the bathrooms. But not any big issues and the owner Mark and Sherry had great communication while we stayed there.

Wonderful stay near New Germany State

Came to area to cross country ski at New Germany State Park just 6-10 minutes away. Home is really lovely. Clean and cozy. Nicely decorated. Plenty of space for four friends to hang out. All the bedrooms were nice. The loft was a cute space. Would recommend and stay again.

Nice and relaxing home

Nice clean place to get away from it all. Wisp ski resort was pretty close and offered fun snow activities from tubing to skiing and an alpine coaster. Caselmann's Creamery was a nice place to get cheese and good fresh lunches. The house is roomy with 3 beds and a large living for any extra guest. 2 bathrooms came in handy for a family of 5. Frostburg and Cumberland were nice little nearby towns to go visit.
