Cozy 1BR in Center Square – Near MVP Arena, NYS Capitol & Empire Plaza, Sleeps 4
Charming garden apartment in Albany, New York. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and Washington Park. Located in the heart of the Historic Center Square neighborhood. Perfect for couples and short getaways, but we welcome longer stays too!
Home Layout:
Only 4 short steps down to enter, 2 steps up to the back patio, and everything is on one floor (yay for less steps!)
Through your private entrance, you’ll enter an inviting living room that seats 3-4 comfortably. There’s a Smart TV for logging in to your own personal streaming accounts.
Kitchen:
Just off the living room is a small, fully equipped kitchen with basic cooking tools, including complimentary coffee for a morning or afternoon pick-me-up. We don’t currently offer a kitchen table/eating area.
Bathroom:
The full bathroom has a simple, small stand-up shower with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash and fresh towels. Please note the shower ceiling is low with pipes just overhead and may not be as comfortable for anyone over 5’10”. Guests have enjoyed it with no issues, but I want to be transparent about any quirks.
Sleeping Accommodations:
Bedroom - full size bed
Living room - pull out bed
The bedroom offers a closet, iron and ironing board, and a desk for working remotely. The desk currently has a simple folding chair. Please note the bedroom does not have a privacy door. The door in the bedroom leads directly to the private back patio. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have about the layout.
Please let me know ahead of time if you’ll need sheets for the pull-out bed and I’ll leave extra ones out for you.
Outdoor Space:
Enjoy the private patio where you can have your morning coffee while gathering around the fire pit or just get some fresh air. We only offer patio furniture after the snowy season. You’ll notice a door from our neighbor’s garage, but it is private and not shared so you’ll have it all to yourself!
Washer & Dryer:
We offer a shared washer and dryer with laundry detergent for your convenience (located in the hallway).
Animals:
Due to severe allergies, we are not able to host animals of any kind. I and my family use the space when not rented out. We love our four legged friends, but hosting animals would pose a serious health risk. Thank you for understanding.
PARKING:
Think NYC. There is alternate side parking so you are responsible for adhering to all local street parking signs. If you're driving, please inquire about a guest parking permit ahead of time so we can get you registered for your stay.
# of Guests Allowed: For safety, ONLY guests on the reservation are allowed inside the home unless host provided express written consent for extra guests. Otherwise the reservation will be ended immediately without refund. You are responsible for any damage caused during your stay.
