Esta casa contemporánea de 4 dormitorios y 3 baños en Lieutenant Island fue construida en 1994, es amplia y bien iluminada, está bien amueblada, tiene todas las comodidades habituales y es bastante privada. Se puede llegar a las hermosas playas de arena de la isla por senderos sobre las dunas en unos 5 minutos. Hay dos cubiertas, una cubierta grande con acceso desde la sala de estar y una cubierta más pequeña en el segundo piso, fuera del dormitorio principal. El piso principal, que tiene una unidad de aire acondicionado de pared, tiene un plano de planta abierto con cocina, comedor y sala de estar con controles deslizantes que conducen a la cubierta del primer piso, así como un dormitorio con una cama queen y un baño con bañera y ducha. En el segundo piso hay un amplio dormitorio con una cama king, una terraza y un baño contiguo, así como dos dormitorios más, uno con una reina y otro con dos camas individuales con otro baño. El dormitorio principal, con la cama king, también tiene una unidad de aire acondicionado de ventana. En coche, son 10-15 minutos a las playas del océano y los estanques y al Centro Wellfleet. El acceso hacia y desde la Isla del Teniente puede retrasarse de 1 a 2 horas en mareas altas, ya que la carretera que conduce hacia y desde el puente puede estar bajo el agua. An excellent Lt. Island house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have had another fine stay at 35 Fifth Street. The house is meticulously maintained and equipped. It was perfect when our son and his family visited; they could just use the entire upper floor, with a separate bedroom for each of the older children. For the two of us, it is a peaceful, secluded house. Air conditioning in the master bedroom and downstairs is a plus; we needed it several days this summer.

Reviewer Comments: I took this house with my wife and my two adult sons and their significant others. The house is well set up for adult couples staying together. The three bedrooms worked well (we didn't use the child's bedroom) with ample privacy for all. It's also a good house for entertaining - we had dinner for my parents and sister and there was plenty of room.Pluses:* Nicely landscaped, beautiful flowers & bird feeder* Great grill and decks* Well-appointed kitchen* Open floor plan* One of my favorite beaches, at the end of the main road, is within walking distanceMinuses:* You are going to have to deal with the tides - we just barely made it on island the first day before the road flooded at high tide

Magical Location

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the island and proximity to the beach. Wonderful visit overall. House is well laid out. Well equipped kitchen although the dishwasher could use replacing as the racks are quite rusty. 3 bedrooms do not have AC and between warmer summers and having to keep all windows closed due to "no see-ums" (in July), paddle and portable fans were not sufficient. We were unable to sit outside day or night due to bugs. The master bedroom adjoining bath has no shower (which isn't in the listing) and is shared with the twin bedded room which isn't clear in the listing. It also says "a queen [bedroom} and one with two twin beds with another bath". That bath is in the upstairs queen room and not shared with the queen and twin rooms. The bathrooms need more towel racks or hooks to hang towels.To avoid losing our time slot, we had to sign a lease while we were out of the country, but requested doing an on site visit on our return to make sure the house met our parameters. The lease even states that viewing the property is highly recommended. However, after numerous attempts, we were told we couldn't see the house because "we typically don't show vacation rentals or the homes don't show well because they're not rental ready". From what we could tell, the homeowner uses slipcovers on the living room furniture and covers the dining room table with a pad and table cloth which is totally understandable and could easily have been addressed during a visit. Our experience with the agent wasn't great.
