Nuestro, 'Big Blue Catalina House', como nos gusta llamarlo, es un gran lugar para traer a su familia y amigos. Si es sólo para un fin de semana o una semana, sabemos que no se aburrirá o la falta de cosas que hacer o ver. Es muy bueno para tertulias familiares. como bithdays, ocasiones especiales,, banquetes de boda, Acción de Gracias, Año Nuevo o para hacer una escapada del bullicio y el ajetreo de la vida urbana. 'La casa azul', es perfecto y se combina con, Isla Paraíso, y está a sólo un hora o así montar desde el continente. Nos enamoramos de Catalina, debido a su estilo de vida se recostó y volver a menudo y estamos seguros de que usted también. Cambio de tarifa 01 de enero de 2018 nueva tasa a continuación.

Board of Directors Retreat

My board of directors has an annual retreat and we chose Avalon for our destination this year. The Big Blue House was even better than the photos depicted. You can’t get a better location. Everything you want to see and do it steps away. I want to go back and bring my family. I will for sure be back. Thanks for the hospitality.

Avalon, first time

Good sized house in the center of Avalon. We enjoyed our stay immensely Walking distance from the beach and from a large supermarket. Good restaurants nearby.

Perfect extended family spot.

We took our sons and their families to see where my husband spent his formative years finally! We should have done this years ago. The Big Blue house was perfect for this! The grandkids loved that they could walk everywhere. The Big Blue House was clean, comfortable, safe and well equipped. Not fancy but very quaint and beach rustic. We loved it.

Mamma Mia Paradise

We stayed here for a cute bachelorette weekend for my little sister! The theme was Mamma Mia and this Blue House was everything and absolutely right on brand with the theme! Beds were comfortable and we loved the window that opened fully in the front of the house for an adorable photo op! The house was walking distance from everything and there was no need for a taxi once arriving and departing from the island to the ferry. There was a small mishap with a toilet that was leaking but I called Allison (Island host) and she contacted a plumber right away and it was fixed in less than 30 mins! The only suggestion I would give is the floors could use a bit of a deep cleaning and a good mop. They were clean to the naked eye but made our feet dirty if we walked around barefoot for a while. Honestly, overall a great stay and experience! We will definitely visit again soon and would love to stay here again!

Great Stay in the Big Blue

We had an amazing time staying in the big blue house over labor day weekend. The proximity to the restaurants, shops, and activities is amazing. The host was very communicative. We loved hanging out in the front porch room with the window open on warm days. The kitchen is well stocked with dishwear and amenities. Very close to Vons to walk and get groceries.

Great stay!

Check in was simple and the host was available to answer questions as needed. Easy walk to town and did not require a golf cart like my previous stays elsewhere.

Great location

There were 10 of us here for the Catalina Island Marathon. The location was incredible, just a 2 minute walk to the beach. One tiny quibble - one of the beds was a fold down outdoor sofa on what is essentially a front porch. You won’t have an issue with this unless you plan on using every bed. We had a lovely stay. Great value.

Great location and amenities

Great place to stay near the action in Avalon. Description was accurate and home was a quick walk from the pier. It had enough kitchen items to cook; towels, beach chairs, a large beach cart-many items in the picture as shown. It looked clean, but my boys were running around barefoot and they had dirt all over their feet. Also, the home is so close to the action that you will hear people and golf carts at night. I would stay here again, but request a better floor cleaning.

Perfect spot

My fantasy football league had our draft in Avalon and many of us stayed here. It was a prefect setup. Close enough to walk everywhere, but different than some of the hotels that have clubs nearby or on the premises where you can't control the noise. Going to stay again.

We are repeat visitors of this house. We absolutely loved our stay and the house was great! I highly recommend it and plan to return. The house had everything we needed and was in a perfect location.

Big Blue Paradise

The Big Blue House was simply amazing!!! Big thanks to Allison, she went above and beyond to make sure My family & I had a great time, The Big Blue House has everything you need, and want!! The home is clean, spacious and literally right near the main attractions. It's only a short 4/5 min walk from the Port!! Perfect vacation rental

Everything about this stay was perfection. Check-in process was hassle free, house was big, clean, well maintained, and in a great location with easy access to DBC and local restaurants. 10/10 recommend for a fun weekend stay.

We loved our stay in Catalina. The Big Blue House was a great location near the main shops of Avalon and they had plenty of beds to accommodate the group that we had there. Glad we decided to stay there and I’m sure we will again in the future.

We both love to travel trying different place's around the world. We take great pride in all our properties and love to get reviews and feedback from all our guest to enable us to improve.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Location, location, location. Built in1929 and still retains much of it's old charm and is just a great house to bring family and friends, plenty room and great for kids. Traditionally we spend Thanksgiving with family and now grandchildren. We both love going to Catalina to relax and enjoy all the things the Island has to offer and because of it's great location, we can walk everywhere.

'Location!', It's only a block from the town and walking distance to any and all you want to see and do. The house was built in 1929 and is cozy with new and old features that gives it the feel of Old Catalina. One really unique feature that everyone loves is the big sliding window in the sun room. It's a great place to relax as the sun sets and have your favorite drink of choice.
