About this space Your Ideal Vacation Stay Here! The view is awesome from this newly remodeled, spacious studio condo on the 27th Floor of the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel, just a few blocks from Waikiki Beach! This clean, modern, luxurious space is in a great location to enjoy your vacation in fabulous Waikiki Beach. In this large, corner studio there is a full kitchen and a breath-taking view of the city and the ocean. The furniture is new, with a new queen bed, a comfortable sofa bed, a new 48" flat screen RokuTV. The apartment is medium size, maybe a little cozy for 3 adults, perfect for a couple and child.
The space The condo is just a couple of blocks from the beach, a short walk past many fine shops, restaurants, bars and a nice park.
Guest access This is a completely private condo, there are no shared spaces.
Parking is $40-45/day.

We checked into the property but found that the studio was too small for us to open our suitcases. There wasn’t any room in the bathroom to put any personal products, and to find that the toilet was unclean prompted us to leave the property for other facilities. Be mindful when booking this property, it is small and might be ok with carry-on luggage. The apt is quite dated. The view was great but that was the best part of this VRBO.

Why did you submit a review when you spent maybe 6-10 minutes there and left?. I inspected the condo after you left, there was nothing unclean about the toilet or bathroom . The condo was EXACTLY as described. In the listing.

The three chairs in the property would badly stand. Four of the plates were chipped. The kitchen supplies were not sanitary the building was old and not maintained, the coffee pot was filthy, there was no dishwasher, the apartment smelled of strong chlorine, the only good news is that they got a full refund after I packed and left on the first night, and be aware of the 45 night parking if you pay , the only good news is that it’s a great location

The small stains on the chairs were barely visible, the kitchen supplies were throughly cleaned that morning, the coffee pot was brand new and thoroughly cleaned, a dishwasher was not a listed amenity. Guest complained that he prepaid parking, which is not possible since it is an outside company. He complained there was a hole in the wall--there was no such thing. I will never rent to him again.

Host communicated well with detailed instructions for checking in and out. Great views of ocean, canal and Waikiki. Convenient to restaurants and food trucks. Could use a better cleaning - esp under bed and futon couch. A couple of damaged items and could use a few more glasses and cups in the kitchen. Keep the window AC on high fan to keep the room cool.

Perfect staycation

Great little condo in a perfect location with lovely views. Very convenient to have a full kitchen so we didn’t have to eat every meal out. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed. Host exceptionally responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

Our first time to the island and we had an amazing trip. The room had a wonderful view to the ocean and parts of Waikiki that we enjoyed. The room was small and quaint, but it met our needs. We had no problem getting into the room and Larry was quick to respond to our questions as needed. One of the chairs had a stain on it which made us not use it and the toilet seat was partially broken but didn't effect it's use. Overall it was a nice and reasonable stay for us.

Exactly as Expected

We wanted a simple , safe place with a freezer for storage. It was a perfect little apartment. Building is older but it was safe and sound.

Early Wedding Anniversary

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. The condo was perfect for the two of us. The beach and shopping was within a short walking distance. Bed was comfortable and the view every morning to Diamond Head and the ocean was wonderful. With all the activities that we were doing, we never really got a chance to use the pool and the gym. All in all, this was a great place to stay and I would not hesitate to recommend others to this place.

Better than the photos

First off, the host has exceptional communication skills. Made sure we had continual contact and our stay was as planned. It was better than planned for us. The location was excellent. Close to everything we wanted to walk to. The condo was clean, spacious, and relaxing with a gorgeous view. Truly could not have asked for a better place to rest while traveling. Highly recommend. Thank you for making this short vacation memorable.

Host was great, very responsive. Bed comfortable. View spectacular.Location good. Condo had all necessities,plus impressive, state of the art Toto toilet(bidet). But: Swimming Pool, managed by hotel but the only one available, was the dirtiest we have ever seen, to the point we never used it. When I went down there were several clumps of long hair, plus an obviously used QTip floating in the water. Traffic noise extremely loud, plus motorcycles revving into the wee hours, due to proximity to the main street and likely original windows. I hope the host can exert some influence about the pool cleanliness. perhaps owners pay together for pool maintenance?

I'm sorry the pool was not maintained well while you were here. If I had known about it, I could have had the maintenance crew on it immediately. Sometimes a little timely communication can solve ongoing issues.
