The Space:

Welcome to Fly Away Home. This tranquil 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is nestled in the trees in the enticing town of Manzanita, Oregon. Located a short 5-block walk to the beach and mere steps to the vibrant shops on Laneda Avenue, amazing restaurants, quaint coffee houses, art galleries, natural food stores, a beautiful library, and the Hoffman Center for the Arts, it may be difficult to explore all of the fun attractions nearby!



Inside the home, you will find vaulted ceilings, large windows, and lots of natural light throughout. Cuddle up in front of the woodstove in the living room and visit with loved ones or enjoy a movie night on the flat-screen smart TV with cable. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to prepare each meal. The dining area has a large table and a long, cushioned window seat perfect for reading a book on a rainy day or hanging out with the cooks in the group while they whip up something tasty.



One of the cozy bedrooms is located on the main floor so your party can enjoy some separation at night, if preferred. This room has two single twin beds and a built-in desk that can serve as a workspace/home office if needed.



Just upstairs are two bright, uncluttered Queen bedrooms with generous high ceilings and tall windows. The main bedroom has an ensuite full bath with a walk-in shower. Another full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is just down the hall.



This cedar-shingled home is surrounded greenery, offering a hidden forest feel, lovely birdsong, and a sense of privacy while being close to "downtown." A sliding glass door in the living room leads you to an expansive two-level deck with multiple seating areas. The upper deck contains a propane grill covered by a dramatic glass gable, providing a light-filled space to grill while sheltered from the rain. There is a small table with seating for four near the BBQ and another table with four chairs down three steps to the large lower deck that is uncovered for enjoying when the weather is dry.

Getting Around:

If staying in Manzanita, there is no need for a car but if wanting to travel outside of Manzanita, we do have a public bus called "The Wave" which can take you North or South. There is info on The Wave in our rental or you can find a schedule in our office in Manzanita.



Other Things to Note:

FYI: 9% Manzanita City lodging tax is not collected by Airbnb, this tax is added into the cleaning fee making it look higher than it should.



Interaction with Guests:

We will interact as little or as much as the guest likes.
