A true depiction of Northern Wisconsin cabin life
The cabin itself is exactly what I wanted. Small quaint and to the point. No outlandish features or amenities. The only difference between this cabin and where I stayed growing up was there was a TV. The cabin we stayed in was directly across the street from the lake and we had lake access. The owner provided us with a rowboat that she put in the water so we could paddle around the lake. The beach is small but my three children had a blast goofing around and finding snail shells. All in all I loved my stay and before we left our interest about securing the same week next year. It is right in between St. Germain and eagle River and also not too far from minocqua so for me it is perfectly located. The lake it is on is not huge but also extremely quiet. I think the whole time I was there I saw maybe one or two people water skiing and that's about it. It has decent size smallmouth bass and from what I hear a few Northern and walleye. Cindy, the owner was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable and that if we needed anything she made sure she was accessible. Even that one time my wife locked the keys in the cabin. She got back to us quickly in unlocked it for us. Even that one time my wife locked the keys in the cabin.
