Nuestra cabaña de registro se denomina «Cuando el Greene hierba crece '. Si quieres escapar a un lindo, hermoso 3 dormitorios, 2 baño cabaña en 3+ hectáreas de absolutamente preciosa tierra, esta es tu próximo lugar de vacaciones! Un pequeño arroyo que atraviesa la propiedad y se ejecuta bajo la carretera Bethel en el río Watauga. En el río se puede practicar la pesca, la tubería o simplemente jugar en el río y refrescarse.

Hay una gran estufa de leña en la sala de estar. En la planta principal hay un dormitorio doble y un baño completo, además de una sala de lavadora y secadora. La cocina está totalmente equipada para todas sus necesidades de cocción. La sala de comedor y de estar se sumará a la atmósfera acogedora. Arriba hay 2 dormitorios, uno con una cama de matrimonio y otra con una cama doble, además de un sofá nido doble. Hay otro baño de arriba entre los 2 dormitorios. Relájese en el porche o terraza de atrás en los rockeros o columpios. El porche de atrás tiene una buena parrilla de propano y el sótano completo se puede utilizar para el juego de la noche.

Esta cabina fue construida en 1985. Es sólo un par de millas a Watauga Lake, esquí Beech Mountain y se puede llegar a sólo unos minutos más para llegar a la montaña de abuelo, Sugar Mountain, Tubing en Hawksnest y Appalachian Ski Mountain. Boone es una gran ciudad universitaria de la Universidad Estatal de los Apalaches, además cuenta con tiendas, restaurantes, cine. Valle Crucis está a sólo 5 millas de distancia y es el hogar de la tienda general de mástil y el famoso barril Candy. Blowing Rock también está cerca, que tiene tiendas únicas increíbles y es el hogar de Ferrocarril Tweetsie. Esta cabina tiene muy fáciles puntos de acceso a la Blue Ridge Parkway y está a sólo 30 millas de distancia de las carreras de NASCAR en Bristol, Tennessee. Definitely a welcome stay away from home!

Very rustic and well stocked and clean cabin. No issues at all. Would definitely return. Able to take nice walk on gravel road down to Watauga river. Very responsive and professional owners. Thanks for a well deserved and peaceful time away!

Cute Cabin in the Woods

This cabin was a great find! It was secluded, well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. Not having to bring linens was a big plus. Boone and App State are about a 15 min drive, great maintained hiking trails are close by, although, our best hike was one that was off the beaten path, we found an amazing waterfall in the middle of the nowhere. It was perfect. We thought about going to Grandfather Mountain but the traffic getting in was terrible, the drive there was amazing with beautiful views and plenty of places to stop and check out the scenery. This cabin was too cute, we will stay here again next time we head back to the area.

Great Family getaway!!

The cabin is actually what you would think about in the Mountains of NC. It is decorated very nicely with country antiques and very cozy. The drive time to local attractions and sites is not bad at all and gives you a chance to enjoy the local’s atmosphere. If you hunting for a Christmas tree farm during your stay there are plenty around in the area. The Cheese Factory in West Jefferson is about 45 minutes away and is a most to go see. They have some great antique stores in the area. Boone and Blowing Rock are both just a short drive with numerous shops and Antique stores to keep you busy. If you are into skiing,mountain biking, or fishing you will not be disappointed. Great place hope to visit again soon.

Beautiful, rustic cabin! The property is cozy and quiet, and perfect for internet-free relaxing! There was plenty of room in the cabin for an adult family of four and our dog. The outdoor property is well-maintained and spacious.

We stayed at the cabin July 9-12, 2025. The cabin was the perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing! There was plenty of room for our family of 5. We did not cook any meals during our stay but the kitchen seemed to be adequately equipped if meals were prepared with plenty of cooking utensils and pots and pans. It was nice that we were able to bring our fur babies with us on this trip! The morning of our departure we saw two deer in the back yard!

Cute cozy cabin

Super cute and cozy, perfect location, loved the property. It’s seems secluded but still close enough to everything you need. I seen other reviews about the neighbors dogs. The only time I heard the neighbors dogs was when I took my dog outside. But even then it was not bad at all and couldn’t hear anything inside. Overall the place was super cute and loved staying there! The only down fall for me was the beds. Probably the most uncomfortable beds I’ve slept in. We were worried about the driveway and snow but just parked our one vehicle at the top of the drive and walked to the front door no problem!

Cozy Cabin

We stayed here for Thanksgiving 2024 as we have family close by. This home is exactly as listed. It was very cozy and comfortable for our family of 4. We kept the wood fire burning as it was quite cold outside. Bonus is there is a guy who sells wood just down the hill. My boys enjoyed the swing outside and exploring the woods in the back. I prepared many Thanksgiving dishes in the kitchen and found the kitchen had everything I needed. The home also has extra pillows, towels and blankets. We were very happy with our stay. Would stay again.

Vacation in Sugar Grove

Cabin was clean. We stayed for 3 nights and did not hear any dogs barking at anytime during our stay. Stairs outside around back are slippery. If you want to get to the bottom of yard use the grassy hill. Hosts were great and answered all my questions about the listing.

Such a perfect little getaway!

It was a very cute cabin with everything we needed. My 14 month old loved exploring with us in the woods. Everything was very clean and for the most part as kid friendly as it could be.

sugar grove fall Boone

Comfortable and roomy digs reasonable distance from Blue Ridge. No views of mountain vistas from the deck, but situated in a lovely wooded area surrounded by trees (for us) in glorious fall foliage. As noted by other reviewers, at night we could hear neighbor's dog barking, but it was not like it was so close and/or loud that it set our dogs off or kept us awake. With two baths and three bedrooms, this place can't be beat for a group who want to split costs and keep expenses down. Not the poshest VRBO I've stayed at, but more than adequate and an outstanding value. I would recommend to friends and I would stay at again.

This little cabin was perfect for us. We have family that is right up the road, so being so close was amazing. It’s a great cabin. No Wi-Fi, but we weren’t there to be on our phones. Easy communication and easy to get to and into. Will Definitely book again.

Nice house

The house was nice to stay in. We didn't spend much time in it because the location is so close to places to visit like blowing rock and grandfather mountain and tweetsie railroad. The owners were easy to get in touch with before and after check in. You will definitely enjoy the privacy and wildlife staying here.

Cozy Cabin

Lovely cozy cabin! Perfect for our weekend getaway. Even our puppy loved it. Owners were easy to contact when we had questions.

We have a 22 year old daughter who loves to bring her friends and have fun in the mountains at 'Where the Greene Grass Grows'

We love the mountains! It is so nice in the heat of the summer, because it is usually very cool. In the winter it is fun to visit and go skiing with friends. The river is so natural and does not come with the sand that ends up all over everything when vacationing at the beach. The views are great. The shopping is awesome and you are always family in the NC mountains.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Great to read a book and listen to the creek. Nice to sit by the river or to go fishing. Perfect for hiking in the summer or skiing in the winter. Wake up to deer in our yard!
