Se encuentra en el pueblo de Drapanias, al noroeste de Creta, a solo 900 metros de la costa.. La "cabaña cretense HORIZONTE" tiene 70 m2 y tiene un dormitorio con un colchón COCO-MAT para un sueño inolvidable, una gran sala de estar con sofá cama y un baño. Los propietarios lograron combinar la simplicidad del pasado con la comodidad del presente y el resultado final es impresionante ...
Muebles antiguos renovados, mantenimiento de piedras construidas en la pared, baño antiguo renovado. Además, una cocina espaciosa y totalmente equipada para preparar sus comidas y un armario funcional para su personal. En el exterior hay una impresionante mesa de piedra, horno de leña y zona de barbacoa. Además, justo al lado de la cabaña hay un gran jardín de olivos con olivos perennes de la época veneciana, y muchos otros árboles y plantas desde donde se puede disfrutar de sabrosas frutas y verduras.
El uso del olivar es comunal con los propietarios porque necesitan cuidar la propiedad. La cabaña cretense "HORIZONTE" puede alojar hasta 3 personas.
Está totalmente equipado con cocina, horno eléctrico, tostadora, microondas, nevera, aire acondicionado en la habitación, cafetera, Smart TV 32 '' ', wifi gratuito, estacionamiento gratuito fuera de la cabaña y artículos de baño.
Cerca de la cabaña hay playas mundialmente conocidas como Falasarna (20 min), Elafonisi (45 min), la laguna de Balos (10 min del puerto). Además, la ciudad de Chania (30 min), Platanias turísticas (15 min) y en 5 km se encuentra la ciudad de Kissamos (4 min) donde puede encontrar todo lo necesario (comestibles, supermercados, productos locales, tabernas, bancos, cafeterías, salud) centrar).
En el pueblo de Drapanias hay una panadería tradicional, cafeterías y un pequeño supermercado..

Very relaxing stay

The house is clean, completely in order, the kitchen well equipped, enough cutlery and crockery etc. available. Just move in and feel comfortable! Even a cleaning service came in between, which we do not know from elsewhere. Although it is located on a street, it is quiet. Nothing disturbs the sleep. If you are looking for ballyhoo, you are wrong here. The garden is gorgeous. We gladly accepted the offer to help ourselves to all the garden fruits. We looked forward to breakfast in it every day, with fresh, self-picked apelsines straight from the tree. And with bread still warm from the wood-fired bakery next door. Whow! The care of Vasilis and Marili is excellent. Any concerns are taken care of immediately, e.g. defective coffee machines are replaced in an over night service. Thanks to Marili and Vasilis. We will keep the vacation in very good memory and can recommend the accommodation. (PS: Next time I will not call Vasili at midnight and wake him up because I had scrambled the GPS data...)

Wunderbare Urlaubstage in Westkreta

Wir haben uns hier für 10 Tage wirklich zu Hause gefühlt. Das Cottage war unsere "Basisstaion" für unseren Wanderurlaub. Es liegt ein wenig abseits der Nationalstraße. Mit dem Mietwagen sind die Wanderziele in unmittelbarer oder weiterer Nähe oder die Strände von Kissamos oder an der Südküste zügig zu erreichen. Der Vermieter ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und immer bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und wird regelmäßig gereinigt. Sie ist mit allem ausgestattet, was für einen Urlaubsaufenthalt benötigt wird. Der Garten mit seinen alten Olivenbäumen läst zum Frühstück oder zum Ausklingen des Tages ein. In unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft befindet sich eine Bäckerei (unbedingt empfehlenswert!), fußläufig ist die Taverne Mithimna direkt am Strand mit leckerem kretischen Essen zu erreichen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen.

Bonne adresse pour séjourner dans la région.

Nous avons apprécié la bonne situation de la maison pour visiter la région. Vasilis a toujours été présent lorsque nous avons eu besoin de lui. La maison est bien équipée avec un jardin avec potager et arbres fruitiers dont nous avons pu profiter.

Nice quiet house with great garden

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Drapanias. The house is very charming and well equipped. Location is perfect for exploring Western Crete away from the tourist spots. Excellent bakery nearby and very good tavern five minutes by car. The garden and little terrace are nice pluses. We loved the oranges, tomatoes and walnuts directly from the tree. We plan to come back

Loved it!

The house is cozy, tastefully decorated and has everything you need. The garden is lovely. We stayed at the house in April and had fresh oranges from the garden every day. The location is perfect for visiting several beautiful sites. The owners made us feel very welcome and gave us helpful information. Would definitely stay here again.

Herzliche Gastgeber

Die Gastgeber sind wirklich sehr nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Der Garten ist wunderschön und es gab wirklich jeden Tag ein Ei, natürlich auch Tomaten und vieles mehr! Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt! Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön! Liebe Grüße aus Wien!

Perfect!

A lovely house, tastefully renovated, set in a large, peaceful garden, in walking distance from the sea. There's a market, a good baker a few steps away, as well as fresh eggs and vegetables from the garden, but despite that and the fully-equipped kitchen, we couldn't resist the many excellent (and very reasonably priced) restaurants less than ten minutes drive from the house. The location is perfect to visit the west of Crete...Balos beach, Samaria gorge, Chania, and the botanical park are among the many excursions we enjoyed.

The ideal self-catering base

Lovely atmosphere, and pretty well everything worked -- not something you always expect in Crete! We found the Cottage ideal as a base both for hanging out and exploring Western Crete. Bakery and general store just a short walk away. The hosts were both welcoming and very generous with the garden produce. Where else does it rain walnuts?

Bellissima casa immersa in un grande giarfino

Casa situata a Drapanias a pochi minuti di macchina da Kissamos. Bella struttura dotata di tutti i comfort e circondata da un giardino enorme con pomodori, peperoni, uova delle galline di proprietà e tutto quello che l'orso può offrire. Se cercate relax, é quello che fa per voi. A 30 mm di macchina da Falasarna e ad un'ora da Balos e Elafonissi.

Des vacances parfaites!

Très belle maison rénovée dans le petit village de Drapanias avec un magnifique et grand jardin pour se reposer à l'ombre des arbres (notre enfant de 2 ans a passé de supers moments à l'explorer). La maison en pierre garde le frais et est équipée de climatiseurs efficaces si besoin. La maison est très propre et parfaitement équipée. On y a rencontré des propriétaires très accueillants et attentionnés. On a particulièrement apprécié les légumes, fruits, œufs frais directement du potager! Une bonne boulangerie, un petit supermarché et un café sont à quelques pas, la plage s'atteint en quelques minutes en voiture ou à vélo. À recommander pour de courts comme de longs séjours, avec ou sans enfants.

Great location out of the city

We loved our stay at this modernized old home. Exactly as described in a country setting with garden and fresh produce. Quaint little village within a few meters and even walked to the beach without much effort. Very clean with all of the amenities we would expect. Vasilis was there to meet us when we arrived and explained all of the details of the house and surrounding areas, including the history of his family that originally occupied the home. We stayed for four nights using the the cottage as our home base for day trips to Elafonissi beach (amazing), Somaria Gorge (long), and Falassarna beach near Kissamos (windy). Vasilis was helpful with tips about local restaurants, what beaches to visit and how to get to the gorge! Could not have asked for more. We highly recommend and would stay there again next time we are in Crete.

Traumhafte Idylle

Nach vielen Jahren in Griecenland mit eher einfachen bis herausfordernden Betten gehöhrt das liebe und geschmackvoll renovierte Steinhaus von Marilis und Vsilis zu der schönsten Unterkunft die wir bisher hatten. Das Bett wunderbar und grosszügig, die Einrichtung sehr schön , Küche komplett. Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen Dorf zum Strand ist es nicht weit , alle Traumstrände sind von dort aus gut erreichbar .Es ist sehr ruhig wer will ist in 7 Minuten in Kissamos. Der grosszügige Garten kann mitgenutzt werden so das jeden Tag frischer Orangensaft getrunken werden konnte. Die Restauranttips der Gastgeber sollte man alle ausprobieren . Von den Eltern der vermieter wurden wir zudem mit Wein und kleinen Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt Ein Traumurlaub wir werden wiederkommen Andrea und Jürgen

A truly outstanding experience

Horizonte cottage is more or less in the centre of the village of Drapanias, a few seconds' walk from a small mini-market, several tavernas and two bakeries. The property itself has been immaculate restored to a very high standard, whilst retaining its character as a stone-built, Cretan house. Everything has been well thought through, and the standard of furnishing, equipment and decoration is excellent. During our two-week stay, the property was cleaned at least three times, and new bedding and towels provided on each occasion. The cottage is set in the most beautiful garden, with olive trees, a walnut tree, pomegranates and oranges. There is a vegetable patch, and a flock of hens in a large enclosure. There is a hammock, table and chairs, and a swing seat in a tree. The customer service provided by the owners and their family is quite simply astonishingly good. Not only are they lovely, lovely people they are also extremely generous. So many evenings we would come back after a day of exploring and there would be fruit, or vegetables, pastries or eggs waiting for us and we were very warmly encouraged to help ourselves to the produce in the garden and to collect eggs from the friendly hens. The owners take genuine delight in caring for their customers and it is a privilege to spend time with them. Drapanias is very well situated to explore the west of Crete. The KTEL bus to Chania stops in the village, again, a few seconds' walk from the cottage; there is parking next to the cottage and easy access both to the mountain roads and to the national road which runs from Kissamos/Kastelli eastwards to Iraklion. Kissamos/Kastelli is a most interesting small town, with many ancient sites. The beach at Drapanias is about 10-15 minutes' walk from the cottage. It is quiet, and a mixture of shingle and sand. There is a nice taverna/bar which looks after sunbeds and shades on the beach which are free, though it seemed courteous to buy a drink in the taverna. All in all, this is an excellent, beautiful property in a most interesting area, made outstanding by the generosity and friendliness of the owners. We are already booking our return trip. We genuinely could not recommend it highly enough.

Idyllisches Haus mit toller Lage für Ausflüge

Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet und war auf unserer Rundreise durch Kreta das absolute Highlight. Alle notwendigen Sachen waren vorhanden, alles ist sehr sauber. Der Garten lädt zum Verweilen und entdecken ein. Wir hatten aufgrund der Lage des Hauses eine gute Ausgangsbasis für Ausflüge richtung Balos, Elafonissi u.A. Ziele. Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend, weshalb wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben und erholsame Tage auf der Westseite der Insel verbringen konnten.
