Lovely winter cabin, prime location in Breck

This place was perfect for my friends and I visiting Breckenridge for a few day ski trip. The location was right near the heart of downtown, and was easy to get to restaurants and the Gondola for mountain skiing access. The place was cozy and cute, and the hot tub was amazing. Would highly recommend this place!

Disappointed

When we arrived after a 13 hour drive, the front door entry keypad was defective and it took numerous times of entering the pass code to open the door. As we entered the house, we immediately felt that the premises was in need of cleaning. We contacted the owner and informed him of the condition. My wife ended up wiping down the entire kitchen, living room and dining area. (Precisely what she was hoping to avoid on our vacation.) The next day, the cleaning lady visited with us and we learned that she had intentionally left the kitchen window open, during her last cleaning, approximately 8 days before our arrival, allowing the whole upstairs to be covered in dust. We found pockets of dirt, small bits of trash and laundry lint outside the upstairs bathroom and on the stairwell corners. The main living room rug was filthy, had a rip in it and really should have been replaced (It is beyond cleaning.) We discovered four lights were out and in need of light bulbs and we noticed spider webs hanging on the kitchen lighting over the island. The front entry way was also in need of repair and/or board replacement. The coffee maker was filthy and all of the lower cabinet hardware and stove top knobs were nasty as well. We had to wipe them down. We have used VRBO for the past 15 years and this is the first time that we have submitted a negative review. WE ASK THAT VRBO/EVOLVE REFUND OUR ENTIRE CLEANING FEE. (Cleaning lady and maintenance man said our complaint was justified.

Perfect Christmas Getaway

We stayed in this beautiful cottage during our Christmas getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The house was very nice and clean, and in walking distance to ask the shops and restaurants! We definitely plan to come stay again!

Great Location!!

Rental was great! Very clean and accurate to description in listing. Fully equip in bathrooms and kitchen. Located in downtown Breckinridge, you are walking distance to dinning, shopping, and hiking trails. The rental was also very clean and cozy with 2 small patios, one on side and one in front. The only negative with the rental (which is small) is that neither porches offers any seating. The views and weather can be awesome in Breck so naturally you are drawn to the outside. Overall, the rental was great and I would absolutely return and recommend this property to anyone! Property owner was also great to communicate with!!!

Great location and charming house

The location in Breckenridge is perfect for restaurants, shopping and the gondola for skiing. The house is even nicer than the pictures show. The kitchen comes with everything you need to cook. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of skiing with a drink and a beautiful view of the mountains. Definitely recommend this property.

Perfect location! Walk to shops & dining. Free shuttle right next door to the slopes!

Very clean, amazing location! Home looks like a cottage outside and a timber frame inside! Very clean and the house has everything you need for a great getaway! If you like to ski, the free shuttle is just steps away!

Gorgeous cottage in great location

This vacation property was even better as described on the site. The home was very clean and comfortable, with upgrades throughout the entire property. The location was wonderful. It is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay to celebrate my birthday. I got the chance to meet the owners and they were very warm and welcoming. I will definitely plan to reserve the property again for future trips to Breckenridge.

Great Location; Beautiful, Comfortable, and Modern House

The property is beautiful, bright, and modern. The moment you walk in, you know it's the real deal. The kitchen is compact but enough to to cook every meal. (even if the grill is a little small) The bedrooms are very nice. They are in the basement, which is not evident in the pictures. This was no problem for us but it may surprise some people. The shared hot tub is shared but we never saw people at the other house, though you do have to walk right by the windows of the other house to get to the tub. Once there however, it's charming and private. Super close to downtown, right next to a bus stop, and easy to walk to the gondola. Thanks!

We stayed 10 nights and the house was perfect. Beautiful decor and amenities, perfect location if want near downtown and incredibly gracious owners. We will absolutely be back!

terrific property 2 blocks from Main Street in the center of town. Organized & well appointed kitchen, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, and lovely light with high ceilings throughout the living and dining area. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and cozy place, ideally located in Breckenridge

We had a really great stay with our family and friends. The house is cozy and very clean, the kitchen is well equipped (we prepared homemade dinner and breakfasts for 5 days in a row) , and the beds are comfortable. Good showers. Excellent hot tub with view on the mountains! The place is located on the blue line which takes you for free to the Gondola or the village. Excellent restaurants in walking distance. Bryan, the owner of the property, was very flexible and was very helpful in recommending ski rental places and how to get around in Breckenridge. We could leave our ski boots in his heated garage so we could start our day with warm feet. Breckenridge itself is probably one of the most charming ski towns in Colorado and the skiing is excellent and appropriate for all levels. This was one of our best ski vacations in the last 30 years! We cannot wait to get back to this place!

Amazing trip

The entire process of booking, coordination with the property Mngt team and even the owner was perfect. The location is perfect to Main Street and bus access to the Gondola is 1/2 a block away. So wonderful. Great cottage to stay in. We would stay here again.

Perfect home and location!

Everything you see in the pictures are accurate. It was clean, with plenty of linens, excellent mattresses and the short stroll to to town can not be beat!

Great house great location!

We stayed here with a group of six adults. The house had everything we needed for a ski weekend! It was super clean on check-in and both the host and the maintenance staff were helpful in communications to make check in and out super easy! The house is walking distance to gondola and everything on Main street - we will stay here again!

Great place in a great location

We really enjoyed staying at this property and plan to be back next year. The finish and layout of the house is impeccable. We were able to walk to everything on main street and incredibly close to the gondola. The owner provided an outstanding guide and information package, and the check-in / check-out process were seamless. The only suggestion I would make to the owners is to consider some sort of window treatment for the shower window (e.g. a vinyl frosted film or PVC plantation shutters). People can look in from the yard.

Awesome house with perfect location

This is the perfect cottage for two couples. We enjoyed this cozy place, and walking to restaurants & shops. It has all the amenities you could ask for -- excellent supply of hot water for showers, comfortable and quiet bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. The finishes are all high quality. You can tell that the owner paid attention to every detail. You could toss a snowball to the free bus shuttle stop - right across the street. So convenient for accessing the mountain with all your ski gear on. Also had an off-street parking spot for our rental car. HIGHLY recommend. We hope to return one day.

Great place in the heart of town - our family loved it!

First off, the location of the property is excellent! You can walk most anywhere (including the slopes and Gondola), and the bus stop is about 40 yards from the front door which takes you virtually anywhere in Breck. The house is beautiful inside and out and our party of 8 felt very comfortable with our stay (including two kids 6 and under). Everything we needed was at the property including the hot tub, which seems brand new and is totally awesome. We are already talking about booking our trip to this house next year. We would definitely come back. On a side note, I spoke to the owner, Brian, a few times through email and phone and he was very easy to deal with and had a high level of communication.
