Wonderful house for a large group. We had children and grandparents and there was something for everyone. Walk to the beach is a little long but doable, especially with the beach wagon provided. Steve was great to work with and was very responsive. Would recommend to all!

Great house, great location , excellent amenities

We rented this house for a long weekend and we had a great time. The pool and the hot tub were lots of fun for all. The house has a pool house in the back with a pool table and games, so the fun never stops ! We will be back.

Wedding Beach Week

Our family of 15 had a great time at Steve's place. We usually gather in August in the Outer Banks of NC but a wedding at the Jersey Shore brought our growing family of 4 kids and 5 grandkids together a little earlier and north of our norm. We loved it so much, we're considering coming back again in the future!

Everything about the property was fabulous, the house, the pool house, the backyard, the parking area. Although the weather wasn't the best for our visit, the close location to the beach access was perfect and so were all the different decks/balconies to enjoy the views. We had one guest in a wheelchair so the elevator was a necessity for us, and it didn't hurt to have it to help transport luggage and things to all the other floors! Not included in the rental was sheets or towels, not sure if this is common for the area, but this was a bit of a downside because that meant more things we needed to pack. Overall it was a great spot to spend the long weekend away! Thanks Steve!

MINI FAMILY VACATION

Had our sons, daughter in law's and 5 grandchildren here for a long weekend. House was just as explained online. Kids loved the pool and the game room. Thankfully had the beach wheelchair which was excellent. My son has a hard time walking on beach due to muscular dystrophy and our granddaughter had a cast on ankle. Owner was easily reachable. Not that we needed anything because everything was as explained. Had a great time! Definitely recommend.

Great house, wonderful vacation

Our family of 13 really enjoyed our week in this beautiful, comfortable house. Only 4 houses from the path to the beach, plus the pool, hot tub, and ManCave. Some of us napped in the hammocks, or lounged by the pool as others grilled. And it's only a short walk to the lighthouse. The view from the rooftop deck is spectacular. I especially appreciated the elevator. Steve replied very promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect family vacation!

We had a fantastic week in Barnegat Light, which we think is the best place on LBI. The beach is gorgeous and the house has it all… a heated saltwater pool, hot tub and pool house in the backyard. From the rooftop deck, you can see the ocean, the bay and the lighthouse. The house has an elevator and the host installed grab bars in the master bath shower, making the house accessible. We give the house a five-star rating. Many thanks to Steve, the owner of this great house!

Fun and games

Great home that was a perfect blend of comfort , fun on site with the grand pool house , salt water pool and hot tub all right in the backyard. A beautiful walk to the beach with ample cozy beach chairs to use. We loved having our ping pong , pool table and dart competitions. The host was always quick to answer our concerns/questions and wanted to ensure we had what we needed and enjoyed our time in his home . Would definitely go back !!!

Family together

We enjoyed so many things about the place. The Barnegat Light area is charming. The pool and hot tub were great fun and the walk to an "almost private" beach was very convenient. The kitchen could have used a few more items, but we made do. I will mention that we were disappointed in the "Man Cave" that I thought would be used by my grandchildren in the age group of 8 - 15, but because the posters that were somewhat rated R, they did not partake in using this space. There were lots of beach items in the garage that were not listed such as a beach wagon, 5 beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and a beach wheel chair. I loved the elevator that spared us using the steps when we needed to carry in the groceries and luggage. Steve was a wonderful property manager, who provided us with an additional large folding table and chairs for our family dinners and game playing.

Family vacation

Great location and size of home was perfect. A few negative comments. The pool heater did not work the first 3 days. It was repaired on day 4 but based on the cost of the rental having it repaired sooner even at higher cost would have been reasonable. The weather was cool that week and the water was cold. Some of the furnishings could be improved but it did not detract from the excellent time my family had. Overall we had a great family vacation.

I am happy you enjoyed your stay. The problem with the pool heater was unexpected, as the system was replaced two years ago and was still under warranty. I had the system fixed as soon as it was reported to me by the tenant, but unfortunately the pool company does not work on Sundays and could not inspect the system and get the replacement part until Tuesday. As for the weather, I do not control the weather, but it was in the 80s and sunny all week. The important thing is that I responded to the renters repeated calls and worked diligently in addressing their concerns.

Great House for a Family Vacation.

It was a great house for our family vacation and fun for all the grandchildren. The game room and swimming pool were fun to come back to after spending the day on the beach. The adults enjoyed hanging out at the tiki bar and fire pit at night. Steve is an outstanding host and very quick to respond all our concerns! The only issue we had was how far the walk was to the beach. It is true that the house is 4 houses from the dunes but it was a long walk for the young children. Our pregnant daughter-in-law could not do the walk. We chose this house because we thought is was close to the beach. There are planks to walk on for most of the way though. I would highly recommend renting this house as long as you don't mind the long walk to the beach.

"Just the Ticket"

This house was, for our purposes, “perfect” - an opinion broached by all our kids and grandkids who accompanied us. My wife and I, both natives of New Jersey who have lived most of our lives in Kentucky, wanted to give our kids and grandkids, who call Ohio, Illinois, and Virginia home, a “Jersey Shore” experience, and, at the same time, host a gathering of our siblings and many cousins scattered across Jersey. Our schedules dictated the first week in June, a time we knew the beach would not be guarded (guards arrive mid-June) and the water a bit chilly; however this house offered table tennis in the garage, a heated in-ground pool, a hot-tub, a sandy stretch to the side of the house ideal for corn hole, hammocks, chairs and tables spread over an ample paved section of the yard, and a “Man Cave,” replete with a large frig, a pool table, shuffle board, and a toilet. All our crew who ranged in age from 10 to 81 made ample use of the house’s many amenities, and, despite being there early in the season, the beach. Rip tides were an issue, so no swimming without guards, but lots of kicking about the surf, kite flying, ball playing - and we had the beach entirely to ourselves. The back yard with its Man Cave, paved area, and ample chairs, tables, and umbrellas was ideal for our Family Gathering that brought together, including the fourteen of us staying at the house, fully seventy folks, many of whom suggested a future gathering at the same place. We hope to do so.

Outstanding Backyard Space but LONG walk to beach

This house was the perfect size for our large family. We had all ages, including a three month old, three year-old, and an 84-year-old. There was plenty of space for all of us comfortably. The backyard was our favorite spot and it was fully loaded. Between the pool, the hot tub, the ping-pong table, the pool table and tiki bar, we had a blast! The back deck on the second floor was another charming spot to sit out of the sun, relax and enjoy the outdoors. If you get bored at this house, it is your own fault. The owner was very nice and extremely quick to respond to any of our questions. The multiple refrigerators was a great asset. The house and furniture could use some updating and a deep clean. But overall, we had no major issues. The location was great and it was very quiet on our street. We had never vacationed in Barnegat Light before. We typically vacation on the southern end of the island which is much more narrow. We did not realize that the beach was so wide. That being said, the house advertised as four houses from the beach was misleading. The house is actually four houses from the entrance to the dunes. It was a quarter mile walk from the entrance to where you could actually set up a spot on the beach. This was very difficult with an 84-year-old and a three month old and a three-year-old. One of the selling points to this house for our family was that it was so close to the beach. But it really wasn’t.

Absolutely loved this house. It was spacious, clean and accommodating! The elevator made it easy for family that couldn’t use the stairs. There was ample amount of space for everyone! The host was really easy to get ahold of, even late at night. We have no complaints!

Great vacation for all 3 generations!

This was a great house for us to vacation together with our 2 children, their spouses and kids age 12, 9 and 10 months. It’s close to the beach, and has something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed hanging out with the kids by the pool when they came back from the beach and eating together on the upstairs deck. Also, the owner was extremely responsive and easy to deal with..

Barnegat Light week

My husband and I, our kids and grandkids had a wonderful week. The house is well appointed, has a wonderful pool, ping-pong table and man cave with a pool table and shuffleboard. Convenient bathroom for the kids in the pool. Right down the street from a convenience store!! Very close to the walkway to the beach. Elevator was a life saver for us grandparents!! Quiet street. Tremendous chandelier over the dining room table. We loved the backyard area to hang out with our kids and the grandkids were watching a movie close by outside. A perfect family house!!! Mr Russo was very helpful and answered all my texts!!
