A chic one-bedroom unit with private balcony located by Oglethorpe Square. Just steps from all the restaurants, bars, stores, museums, and theaters in the downtown! Rich in history and lush in Southern charm, we have everything you need for a perfect stay!
**We provide a parking pass for one car at the parking deck directly across the street from the building to make your stay stress-free. (See more on parking below.)**

The Diplomat on State is the getaway spot you have been hoping for. Perfect for couples looking for some time to themselves, or solo travelers who want a cozy, clean space to call home for a few days.
The building was built in 1924, and is perched on a corner overlooking Oglethorpe Square, one of the 22 squares that comprise the original layout of the City.
The apartment is well appointed and very comfortable. In 520 square feet, there is a full kitchen, dinning for four, an ample living area, a balcony, bedroom, closet and full bathroom.
And you are right in the heart of the city. Broughton Street, one block away, is the main thoroughfare for shopping and dining, and from the front door of the building you can wander down to the Savannah River, up to Forsyth Park, or get lost anywhere in between. The access that the location affords you to the Historic Downtown is remarkable. This is the launching pad for your Savannah adventure.
Please be aware that the Diplomat is on the 3rd floor. The building does not have a working elevator, but the stairs are wide and easy, and lets face it, in Savannah you shouldn't be in a hurry anywhere!
Also, this central location is an urban setting, and noise will filter up from the street to the apartment. We provide a white noise machine and earplugs, but if you are a light sleeper, or are simply looking for a quiet place during your visit, this may not be a good fit. However, if you are ready to get into the mix and be right in the thick of what Savannah has to offer, this is the spot! We hope you choose our place and look forward to hosting you soon.
**PARKING: To make everything as easy as possible for you, we include a parking pass for one car at a secure parking deck very close to the apartment. The pass gives you 24-hour access to the State Street Parking Garage but a spot is neither assigned nor guaranteed--all parking is based on availability. You will need the pass to both enter and to exit the deck.**
