Welcome to the Cape Bay Cottage!

This quaint cottage boasts a newly decorated interior, featuring one bedroom and one bathroom. The bedroom offers a queen-size bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. For additional guests, the living room is equipped with a sleeper sofa suitable for one adult or two children.
We offer complimentary Wi-Fi, access to Netflix, and a dedicated workspace.

Feel the gentle bay breeze as you unwind in our outdoor seating area. Here, you'll find a covered patio area, perfect for savoring morning coffee or evening cocktails.

Just a short stroll away, the bay is only four blocks from your doorstep. Enjoy leisurely walks along the beach, which welcomes furry companions during designated hours. After enjoying the best sunsets, rinse off the sand in our convenient outdoor shower before returning indoors.

We enjoyed our stay with the puppies at the cottage. Very clean, cozy had everything you need for your stay. Close proximity to wildwood where the puppies enjoyed the beach doggie park. As well as close to town of Cape May, restaurants, Congress Hall, beach and boardwalk. Looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for hosting us.

This home is thoughtfully put together with just the right touches. It checks all the boxes for the main things like cleanliness and amenities, as well as my more specific needs. Some of the things I appreciate when I travel are blinds/curtains on all the windows, usable cookware, and an extra blanket for the bed- check, check, check! (Vacation rentals usually come with pans that are too scratched up to pass my safety standards- not this one!) Overall, everything is just in great shape. The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood and the short walk to the beach was always enjoyable. My dog, who despises loud roads, had no problem whatsoever. I felt like I was in good hands with this host; she is very good at what she does.

Great little house for just two people The bay and beach at the end of the street were amazing The house was a bit dusty especially baseboard Garbage can outside was already full when we arrived; also would be nice to know garbage pickup day But these are minor It was a great house for the two of us Thank you

We absolutely loved our 3-night stay at this rental—it was cozy, clean, and full of charm. Being able to bring our dog made it even more special, and we’re so grateful to the host for accommodating all of us. The back patio was perfect for relaxing, the record player added a fun vintage touch, and the house was spotless throughout. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We’d totally recommend this spot to anyone looking to stay in the area—it’s close to everything and made for a truly memorable getaway.

The house was basically clean, but the smell of pet odor on the sofa was intense. Quiet neighborhood. Only complaint was the TV is apps only, and the internet connection was very spotty in the evenings. I had to cast programming from my smartphone.

This was our 2nd stay at Cap Bay Cottage. It is perfect for two adults and a small dog. Huge back/side yard, so neighbors on one side are not too close. Short walk to beach (.4 miles). Quiet neighborhood.

This was a very nice place to stay and made our trip comfortable with knowing our dogs were able to come with us. Diana was very nice and available when questions were asked. I would definitely visit again.

Wonderful getaway with my husband and son. The cottage was everything we needed for a quick 2 night stay. While I love that it is a dog friendly place, we did not love having to constantly clean dog hair off of us. If I could give 4.5 stars I would, but that was the only downside. Super close to the beach and close to many restaurants we were able to enjoy. And the neighborhood was peaceful at night, which was perfect for us.

My new favorite place

Cape Bay Cottage is a perfect spot for a relaxing beach getaway. Two adults and one pup found the cottage cozy and super clean! The location is convenient to the bay side beach and a short drive to Cape May. The owner takes extra care to make sure her guests are comfortable!

Convenient access to cape may

My fiance, brother, and I stayed here for 5 nights and the entire process from booking to check out was seamless and easy. We enjoyed the quaint nature of the house and ended the night on the porch playing cards. The AC system kept everything cool and there was plenty of closet space and drawers for our short stay. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the pull out couch in the living room was as well. There were plenty of towels and the shower has great water pressure. We drove to and from Cape May multiple times per day for the beaches, only 15-20 min each way. We also did Wildwood for a day since that was close by. The kitchen had everything we needed to have snacks and make a few easy meals. Overall great stay! We would come back.

Short and sweet getaway

It was our first time for my family and I to go away for Memorial Day weekend and we thought— why not go down the shore at Cape May? Fortunately I was able to find this property available. Diana, the host, was always so helpful and communicative with questions and such. The place was quaint and cute and very clean. 10/10 would book again. It’s absolutely perfect for a small family or a couple with a dog.
