Perfect Spot

Although satisfied, some things would made it better. No bench or chair in the bedrooms to sit to get ready when you are on up in age/or have health issues. The bed was not a option. We had to bring chair from dining room table. A mat would help in shower & tub because its so slippery. No bars to hold onto. Old people have to be very careful. Like I said we enjoyed our stay, but certain things could of made it greater. Not sure if there were towels/wash cloths in a closet, cause 3 washcloths for 2 bathrooms was not enough/4 towels. Perfect condo but certain things would have made it better. Other than that, a very nice condo. Comfortable furniture to sit in. That dining room table & chairs was awesome! Management was awesome too, as she called and checked on us.

We have stayed at Whispering Pines since they first opened (they only had Bldg #2 open for rentals). We love it here. This condo was beautiful. We did have difficulty getting the refrigerator to get our food and water cold. I would suggest the owner turn it on to cooling at least 24 hours prior to a guest's arrival. The back bathroom needs some attention around the tub faucet fixtures (black stuff around it). The throw cushions in the living room are feather pillows (which leave feathers everywhere...on t he couch and on your clothes). I would suggest the owner replace these. Otherwise, it was perfect!

The grounds were clean. The people that lived out there and the visitors were very kind. My family enjoyed the fact that there was an indoor and outdoor pool. I feel like the attractions such as Dollywood and the island were great however, we had everything we needed at the rental property and being able to go quickly to different restaurants and other activities that were close by.

Heating concerns

The master bedroom did not heat well and it was noticeably colder in that room. Enjoyed the stay otherwise. Nice place to stay in a convenient location.

I loved that the complex was not very large & that we didnt have to worry about finding a parking spot at night after being out all day. We didnt get to take advantage of the free ticket/attraction offer because we planned our days based on the bad weather we had during our stay. My family & I will definitely come back here again.

Great Little Find

Stayed here for a one day trip to Dollywood. Super convenient to everything. Price was good. Only issue was the master shower did not have any water pressure and didn’t drain. Given the cold temps a nice hot shower would have been good. Would stay again! Tasteful decorations and remodel. Communication and check in were a breeze. Easy to access as well.

In love with Whispering Pines 234

We will most definitely be back! A lot of times pictures make homes look bigger than what they are and hide flaws. This home was larger than appears and great condition. We were so pleased with our stay here. We enjoyed the convenience of condo in town, the location of condo at resort (hop off elevator and you are there), and everything else about it. We can't wait to come back and stay here. The Christmas decor was a sweet addition to condo as well. So pleased!! Regarding host, prompt on replying and always helpful. Rent this place, you won't be disappointed.

The condo is lovely decorated and in a perfect location. Can even see the nightly Dollywood drone and firework show from the balcony.

Great Location to Dollywood and Attractions

I am extremely picky when it comes to cleanliness and I feel that a lot of time and money has been spent to make sure this rental is clean. I had an elderly traveler with me. She uses a scooter and walker. Both were usable in this spacious condo. There was handicap parking right in front of the elevator and the unit was around the corner from the elevator. As our travel was centered around accommodations for her, the walk in shower had a safety bar next to the small step up and I appreciated that. I also had teens with me and they enjoyed late night swims and the Dollywood fireworks that could be seen every night from the balcony. Very fun! All that being said, I do have to mention that this unit has some drainage problems. The tub/shower combo in the back bedroom does not drain well. I had to take a shower with my feet covered in water. This is gross and makes me feel like the shower floors may look clean but probably aren’t. The back bathroom toilet looked clean but there was a slight smell of sewage. Upon further inspection, under the toilet rim had not been addressed in quite some time. The sink in the main bathroom would not drain and we had to use the plunger to unstop it. Also, the walk in shower has water coming from the ceiling-likely from someone taking a shower in the unit above. Once these plumbing problems are addressed, I would give this condo perfect ratings. But plumbing issues are cleanliness issues to me, and it was disappointing to have to deal with them. We were not put out with the drainage problems, it’s just annoying when you pay for a rental that has them.
