Escápese al Caribe sin salir de los Estados Unidos. Debido a nuestra ubicación geográfica, Duck Key ofrece fácil acceso al Atlántico, la Bahía de Florida o el Golfo de México. Con canales que fluyen libremente, agua turquesa y puentes venecianos, pensarás que estás en las Indias Occidentales.

Nuestra casa en Duck Key, Mile Marker 61, está ubicada en un entorno tropical con exuberante vegetación. El dúplex de dos dormitorios y dos baños completamente amueblado tendrá capacidad para seis personas. Hay una cama King en el dormitorio principal, una cama Queen en el dormitorio de invitados y un sofá cama Queen en la sala de estar. Lo hemos amueblado con todas las comodidades del hogar. Cocina moderna totalmente equipada con lavavajillas, lavadora y secadora, amplio salón con TV por cable y VCR. Hay una vista del agua desde el porche con vistas al muelle y al canal ancho de tiro profundo.

Durante su estadía todas las mañanas, caminaba por la isla y comentaba diariamente sobre las claras aguas turquesas que rodean a Duck Key. Cuando llegue a la isla residencial, tendrá que cruzar el puente Truman. Incluso ahora verá personas caminando, trotando, en bicicleta o corriendo por Duck Key.

En la planta baja de nuestro dúplex, hay un congelador, mesa de limpieza de pescado, bañera de hidromasaje, parrilla de barbacoa, muebles de patio y 40 pies de atraque para su barco. Pesque en el muelle o nade en nuestra hermosa piscina. El patio está ajardinado con adoquines de ladrillo y luces de paisaje. Hay estacionamiento cubierto para sus autos y estacionamiento para el remolque de su barco. Podemos incluir una carta de pesca y turismo con su alojamiento.

Los beneficios únicos en esta Cámara: Para aquellos de ustedes que traen un bote, mi esposo, que es un Capitán de Carta local, compartirá algunos excelentes lugares de pesca. Si no traes un bote, Capitán. Lee lo llevará en un paseo en bote por los hermosos canales de Duck Key.

Great place to stay for a wonderful vacation!

Since nine years we spend our vacations in the Florida Keys, mostly on the lower Keys. This year we rented our house from Lynn and Lee on Duck Key for the second time – and … it will not be the last time! The rental is beautiful, very well maintained and very clean. It is one half of a duplex, with own driveway and own entrance. Inside you will find everything you need: fully equipped kitchen incl. icemaker and everything you need for a good BBQ (the Weber is downstairs …). Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lots of towels, spacious living and dining area – what else do you need for a perfect vacation? The rental has a screened porch where we used to have breakfast and dinner. Ventilators help to cool down outside. From the porch you have a beautiful view of the canal, all the boats and houses. Downstairs you can park your car in the shade underneath the house. The garden is awesome – tropical plants and flowers everywhere including Key-Lime trees. Next to the pool is a shady sitting area and it is only steps from the canal. The canal is somewhat special – it is one of very few canals in the keys that is “open” on both sides, so current is passing through it, bringing fresh water with every cycle. Cristal clear water gives a good view to all kind of fish. We saw small fish, parrot fish, jacks, tarpons, sharks, stingrays and even a manatee. Our landlords Lynn and Lee are awesome. Friendly, kind and answering all our questions. Lee is also a charter boat captain with First Love Charters. He took us with his boat for a fishing trip to his secret spots. We caught a lot of fish – snappers, mackerel, sharks and more. It was a beautiful and pleasant day on the water without hurry and lots of explanations and help from Lee. He is an outstanding captain! To bring to the point: it was exactly the vacation we wanted to have. And we will be back in 2020 – we already booked our next vacation with Lynn and Lee. Thank you so much for letting us be your guests!

Summer in the Keys

Our family had a wonderful stay at Lee and Lynn’s vacation home. Just what we needed...relaxing, boating, fishing, swimming and enjoying family time. The house is very clean with all the accommodations needed. The backyard was so peaceful with the view and plants. Lee and Lynn are wonderful!! They were always there to help and we truly enjoyed our time with them. Thanks to Lee we got some pointers on pretty much everything for boating and fishing. We can’t wait to return sometime next year. Thank you Lynn and Lee for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Paradise

This was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had in many years. No worries and very peaceful. The accommodations were wonderful, and the house is beautiful to every aspect. The grounds are manicured with exotic plants, and also with several Key Lime trees at your footsteps; to help refresh those poolside drinks. The harbor is crystal clear, with lots of sea life passing through, my wife and daughter watched the fish, sea turtles and occasional sting rays pass through on a daily basis. Lynn and Lee, are wonderful people who went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. I recommend this location Highly!

Awesome

We stayed here in May and had a wonderful time. We have visited Duck Key for years and this location is a favorite. The home is immaculate - decorated beautifully. We had 4 adults and plenty of space. The home is very well equipt, nothing needed. It is clear the owners take great pride in their home - it shows. We will be back next time we have a group of 4.

Perfect!

This was our third visit to the Keys but our first time staying in Duck Key, and we loved it! After our original accommodation in KCB was cancelled at short notice, Lynn was really helpful and let us rent her beautiful home which was far better than we could've imagined. The house has everything you need and more, we really didn't want to leave! Lynn & Lee are a great couple who go out of their way to make you feel so welcome. The pool at the house is great, and we saw manatees and shark from the dock. We loved Sombrero beach in Marathon, the sunset cruise from Duck Key and the Grassy Key Outpost market & grill is a fabulous place to eat and shop! Thank you Lynn & Lee for making our holiday really special, we can't wait to return next year.

Great

Absolutely awesome, beautiful home with evrything you might need and more. The best set-up in the Keys with no comparison, it was so good we stayed in the pool more than going out on the boat. We already made our reservation for next year. Owners live next door and are very friendly & helpful, this was the most relaxing vacation we have had. Hopefully all future renters are good and don't ruin a good thing for the rest of us.

Everything and more

The owners have spared no expense in this property. Tasteful coastal decor abounds in this well appointed home. We had a wonderful time. The owners made us feel so welcome and comfortable - like friends. The new pool is refreshing. For the fishermen - it has it all: dock, fish cleaning station, outdoor shower, and a captain to boot (we didn't fish with Capt Lee but were envious of all his catches). You will not be disappointed.

GREAT! Everything is new and spotless. Big comfortable rooms and beds. Even the fold out couch is comfortable. Great dock for a boat with quick access to ocean or gulf. BEAUTIFUL WARM POOL. If you want to catch fish talk to the owner. A real fishing captain with years of know how. He's available for charters on a beautiful and capable 30' boat. Specializing in light tackle I learned lots of new tricks! Great hosts who really made us all feel most welcome. Couldn't have asked for more. Maybe two months next time.

Great Place - Loved the House and Hosts

If you are particular about where you stay then this is for you. All of the previous reviews were totally accurate.The house is clean, well equiped, and the hosts always entertaining. Lee can tell you all you need to know about the local fishing and if you want to book him for a charter do it early as he is always busy. Tom's Harbour a short walk for Happy Hour!! Life on Duck Key is just the way you expect it. Relaxing, relaxing, relaxing. Will go back again for sure.

Out of this world place right in the Keys

Have been coming to the keys for 3 years, this is the first time renting a house. There is no need to look any further. The pictures don't do the house justice. Everthing exceeded my expectations. You could not ask for better hosts than Lynn and Lee. There is nothing about the Keys they don't know and are willing to share. Lee made my boating and fishing experiance the best. They are there if you need them and will be out of the way if you don't. I am not only coming back but added another month to my stay. The house is centrally located to the entire Keys.

Wonderful "home away from home"

We've spent numerous vacations in the Keys but this house has been by far the best. Complete kitchen - right down to the crock-pot; bathrooms with plenty of fresh and fluffy towels, bed was really comfortable and everything in the house functioned!!! The house was was very clean and well maintained. We loved the peace and quiet (24/7). Duck Key is a great place to relax, bike, jog, walk, fish, boat, read, swim........ Lynn and Lee were, no are great hosts - helped us with just about everything - even a boat tour aound the island with "insider information". Hope to spend another vacation there.

WOW! What a blast!

What a wonderful vacation! Lynn and Lee are the best hosts possible. We have stayed in the Keys for 8 years and we have never stayed in a place as nicely kept as this. Lee was very helpful with fishing tips. When our boat broke down, he got in touch with his mechanic who came to us to fix it! Imagine that! Anytime you want to get away, call Lynn and Lee and book a wonderful, relaxing trip. Even "Paws" the cat warmed up to us!

Great Place to Spend Some Time

We enjoyed staying for the month of June 2010. A cool breeze always seemed to be blowing on the dock and we spent many hours out there enjoying the sun, the various fish frequently coming through the canal and the high amount of privacy the location affords. Absolutely no concerns about security. The property is just as described. Very clean and well maintained. The flowers and plants on the property are beautiful. Duck Key is convenient to many fun places in the Keys. Lynn and Lee are very helpful and made sure that there were no problems with the unit. This unit is every bit as described, I would still be going there except for health issues. Lynn & Lee are straight forward, they take care of any problems that might arrive in a prompt manner. I also should mention the Capt. Lee is one of the finest charter captins in the Florida Keys. I fished him many time over my stay there with excellent results.

Very clean, attractive, a...

Very clean, attractive, and pleasant. Loved the screened in porch and free-flowing canal. Landscaping is lovely and attractive. Owners live adjacent and are very helpful with suggestions on where to eat (and where NOT to eat). Had a great stay! Good location in the mid-Keys. Great access to both upper and lower keys. Plus, Duck Key is 'off' the overseas highway, so nice and quiet - no traffic noise but with easy access to the highway.
