Settle into our cozy and spacious granny flat, tucked away at the rear of the host's primary residence, overlooking a tranquil backyard. The flat boasts all the amenities you could need: a large and well-appointed kitchen with ample counter space and dining area, plus a welcoming living space for game nights or movie marathons. Enjoy a cinema-style snack with our theater popcorn maker. The large bedroom features a California King sized bed along with a convertible sofa bed and an additional TV for extra relaxation space. Step out through the bedroom's sliding door for a soothing evening in the spa.
Return from your San Diego adventures to a peaceful retreat under the avocado tree, unwind in the spa, or splash in the 9'X18"X52" above-ground pool. Gather around the gas fire circle for marshmallows or S'mores in the backyard.
If you're visiting with children, inform the host. We offer age-suitable toys and craft materials upon request—just share their ages with us.
Our location is ideal, centrally located to the renowned San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, SeaWorld, Legoland, beaches, and picturesque hiking paths. A short stroll leads you to Poway Community Park, featuring two playgrounds, a community center with family-oriented programs, and a 55-yard X 25-yard swimming pool with diving boards, tennis courts, and sports fields. Nearby Lake Poway offers boating, fishing, hiking, picnicking, duck feeding, and playgrounds. Blue Sky Reserve is just adjacent.
If cycling is your passion, borrow bikes from the host and explore the five-mile loop around Miramar Reservoir, perfect for walking, biking, or rollerblading. Or travel a little further to Mission Bay Park or Mission Beach and bike along the miles of waterfront boardwalks. Stop for a picnic or a swim. Spend a couple of hours enjoying the rides or playing arcades at Belmont Park.
In case of rain, entertain the kids at Get Air Trampoline Park or City Fun Center, both conveniently located in Poway. Or enjoy a movie at the AMC dine-in theater, just a mile away.
Everything you might need is located a mile or less from the house. Shopping, restaurants, movie theater... A short walk to Kaminski's Sports Bar and Barbeque to enjoy dinner and a sports game or maybe some Karaoke. And no need to Uber.
If you are in town for business, we are close to the Poway Business Park. A desk, monitor, keyboard and All-In-One HP duplex ink jet printer are available for remote work.
