Welcome to Island View House BnB, self-check-in apartment # 4. Located in the most desirable area of Portland, Munjoy Hill. The entire private one-bedroom apartment located on the second floor of a beautiful Italianate-style building built in the mid-1800s. Please note .

The entire private one-bedroom apartment is in a great location that is very close to everything, just a 5 minutes' walk to East End‘s Ft. Allen Park, along the entrance of the harbor, and to view Casco Bay.
Many restaurants and coffee shops are within a 5 minutes walk distance.

Island View House BnB offers a Free reserved parking spot and free Wi-Fi. with fast-speed internet.

Super comfortable medium firm memory foam hybrid mattress queen-size beds.

The living room has a large sofa with a side table lamp and a coffee table plus a 50" TV.
One bathroom with a standing shower.

Small space kitchen includes a microwave, a Keurig express coffee maker, coffee cups, a toaster, pots and pans, dishes, and silverware.

Unit 4 was clean and comfortable. The check-in process was seamless and worked well for us, as we arrived late at night. The location on Munjoy Hill was very convenient and we were able to walk to many restaurants, walking paths, and other sights. Having designated off-street parking was a plus! Our hosts were friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Was greeted warmly on arrival and given the lay of the land. Such a lovingly restored, appointed and maintained house that has so much character. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and then some! Walking distance to everything Portland had to offer so it saved us a ton on parking fees, which you will need to save to spend on all the great food in town.

Accurate description of apartment! Very clean, had several water bottles and coffee creamers in fridge. Keurig coffee machine with pods available for use. Property was just a 10-15 minute walk to old port/downtown. Perfect stay!

Good location for exploring the Old Port section of Portland. Convenient free parking spot is a plus as parking in Portland can be a challenge. Walking distance to Old Port section is less than a mile, but in returning the final stretch is uphill! Place is comfortable. Apartment is on second floor with mostly a street view, good neighborhood. Window air conditioning units in bedroom and living area can be noisy. Nicely restored older house converted to four ‘apartments’ upstairs with owners occupying first floor. Communication is excellent. As with re-purposed older houses, the bathroom shower was a small stand-up fiberglass unit tucked into a corner of the bathroom, functional at best. This is a good alternative to the very overpriced hotel rooms in the Old Port section during most of the year.

Maranet was friendly and very quick to answer all of my questions. The apartment was very clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood was lovely and very safe. The designated parking spot was a bonus. It is a simple space but equipped with anything that you might need.

We had a wonderful stay in Portland, Maine! The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made us feel right at home. The accommodations were in a quiet, charming neighborhood just a short walk from town and very close to the Portland Observatory. It was the perfect location for exploring the area. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely come back!

This was the perfect spot to stay for me and my husband! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted while avoiding staying in the more touristy areas. We felt like locals and we would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable stay in a great location

We very much enjoyed our stay at Island View House. We were walking distance to downtown. The space was comfortable and just the right size for two of us. We didn't spend much time there (we were out and about in Portland), but it suited our needs well. The only issue was the shower was a bit tricky; I had to keep adjusting the temperature throughout the shower, but this was still a great place to stay, especially for the price.
