I chose this neighborhood because it offers the best of everything—peace, beauty, and easy access to the beach, golf, and local charm. True Blue is one of the most sought-after communities in Pawleys Island for a reason. It’s nestled in nature, surrounded by mature trees, lakes, and beautifully maintained golf greens. It has that quiet, tucked-away feel while still being close to everything that makes a coastal getaway special.
One of the things I love most about this neighborhood is how walkable and peaceful it is. Mornings here are magical—mist rising over the golf course, birdsong echoing off the lake, and neighbors walking their dogs or heading out for an early tee time. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you can finally breathe and slow down.
The vibe is what locals call "arrogantly shabby"—Pawleys Island style. It’s unpretentious, a little off the beaten path, and full of charm. You won’t find high-rises or big tourist traps here—just quiet beaches, friendly people, and that laid-back Lowcountry atmosphere.
