Hilltop Cottage con vistas al lago W / Bunkhouse extra y mascotas!

Esta casa cuenta con techos de catedral de pino nudoso, una luminosa sala de sol con ventana panorámica con vista al lago, una parrilla de gas y una gran terraza con asientos incorporados. Detrás de la casa está nuestra amada "choza de azúcar" que duerme un 2-3 adicional que es perfecta para los niños. La playa, el muelle de pesca, el parque infantil y el acceso en bote están a unos pasos al final de la entrada.

NO SE ADMITEN PERROS en el lago. Sin embargo, tenemos una nueva área de patio cercada solo para su mascota. AÑADIR. TARIFAS DE MASCOTAS AGREGADAS EN EL MOMENTO DE LA RESERVA - por favor pregunte.

Durante su estadía, camine a la ciudad por un cono de helado, pizza casera, alimentos o una bebida y una comida en el restaurante local después de un día en todos los deportes Shingle Lake. Wonderful getaway with our dogs

A great place to relax and unwind and not worry about anything. We loved having a fully fenced yard with the firepit. Having the lake just across the street was delightful and we enjoyed kayaking and relaxing on the beach. Of note, if you are gluten free, we recommend bringing most of your own food. Not many gluten free options locally.

Peaceful and fun

This place was wonderful. Everything we could need for our stay and more. We really loved bird watching whie having breakfast out on the porch. Very quick walk to the lake beach which was clean and quiet perfect for a day spending in the sun. We truly felt at home. Perfect place to unplug and get away from it all. Jen was very responsive and proactive host. We will surely be back again.

The house was clean, organized and well supplied. The birds were wonderful to watch, the tufted woodpecker was amazing. Hope to be back again.

Red roof cottage

We had a great time! Everything you need is at the house. A/C is in both bedrooms but house can get a little warm. We rented a boat on George lake and had a blast. Nice deck and bbq grill. Jen the host was great and always available. The Depot had great pizza, large dollar store and bar/restaurant close by. We will book again!

Find another listing, unless you like mold

My three sisters, my mom and I planned a weekend girls trip. The listing shows two beds in the house with a pullout and three beds in the bunkhouse. As soon as we walked into the bunkhouse we were hit with a TERRIBLE mildew smell and immediately walked out knowing we would not be able to sleep there. We contacted the host immediately and at first she was very helpful and offered a refund. She then changed her tune and said she would offer us $100. We contacted VRBO and was told to basically deal with the host. Even though there was mold allll over the bunkhouse, we were told “it’s a bunkhouse in the woods. Of course it’s going to smell.” The host then started ignoring my texts and calls and finally got her to answer when I called from a different number. She offered to come clean the bunkhouse, which 1. Should have already been done and 2. You can’t just clean mold out of a mattress and have it be ready to go. She also kept trying to say that the bunkhouse isn’t advertised specifically to adults, so we shouldn’t have counted on that space, which doesn’t make sense to me. Don’t advertise the space at all if we can’t count on it to use. After an hour plus of going back and forth at 10pm, she finally agreed to give us a refund and told us to be out of the house in 15 minutes. No exaggeration, this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a rental. Terrible customer service from Vrbo and the rudest host I have ever come across on here. 10/10 I don’t recommend, 0 stars

Pet friendly Weekend

This cottage had everything needed. Very personalized for our fur baby. Very close to our event. Nice to have a fenced in yard for our dog when sitting out by fire and chilling. Communication was great. Would stay here again.

Up North Trip

Had a good time up north! Jen does a great job welcoming you and your pet:). House is set up and ready with things you might forget to bring along like a blow dryer! Close to the beach, and Harrison and Clare are about a 20 min drive. Nice to have bird feeders around to watch out the windows! Us and our dog enjoyed our stay.

Fun weekend getaway

Property is very quaint and in a great location. Out of the way, but not a far drive to do lots of fun things. Jen is a great property owner. She set up the house so cute to welcome us, our dogs and our CMU Chippewas. The personal touches made our trip that much better. Definitely recommend.

New Family Tradition

This was the perfect setup for a family with younger kids and a dog. The cabin was adorable and had everything we needed. There were even treats for the kids and the dog when we arrived. Our girls (2&4) cried when we had to leave. They got to go fishing for the first time, and had their first big beach day. We are looking to make this a yearly, if not twice yearly trip. We had so much fun!

Loved this place. The owner is a very easy person to work with and does a great job of taking care of you and giving those personal touches. Notes everywhere to explain everything. Lots of stuff to keep you busy (boats, games, fire pit etc. I was surprised at how spacious it was inside. lots of room to play games etc. Quilts everywhere so you are always comfy. House is on a hill overlooking the lake. Park right across the street. Canoe on wheels so it was easy to get on the water. Plus tubes and a kayak. The separate little bunkhouse was perfect for a couple of the young folks. Overall it was a great experience.

Little Slice of Heaven

Big things come in small packages. This vacation spot was exactly what we needed. Being our first family vacation we did not get to enjoy the spot as much as we had liked to. The house was super clean and extrememly cozy. It makes you feel right at home. There was plenty of room for our 9 months olds to roam around, which was loved. There was plenty of room to put up two pack n plays, and they loved being able to bath in the deep tub together. Our 5 year old loved the little art station and the books there was to read. It is a short walk to a small beach/park. The little town has just about everything you need and if not the bigger stores are only a short drive. The owner is amazing, thoughtful, and always available for anything that could occur. She even highlights some of the gems of the town. I promise you if you rent here you won't want to leave.

Relaxing vacation with my family

This is a darling cottage, beautiful views. Has train tracks next to it that we loved hearing. Clean, well stocked. Owner is EASY to contact with any issues you might have. We had a heck of a time getting TV to work so we messaged her. Not 3 minutes went by and Jenn was messaging me back! Loved we could bring our pets. They loved the sun room almost as much as our teenager! A great place to rent, looking forward to our next trip. Thank you Jenn.

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed our time there. The lake looks fun. Unfortunately our purpose and schedule did not allow time to play in the lake. The neighborhood was quiet and the cabin was quite cozy with all the amenities we needed.

Had a great time! Jen is great person to rent from! Cabin has all you need and she makes you feel welcomed! Love the welcoming gift and how she makes sure to include your dog! And makes them part of the stay:). Definitely hope to return!

Great country feel cabin

My family and I stayed at the cabin over Memorial Day weekend. It was an absolute pleasure! It gave our family time away from phones, city life, and just life in general to come together as a family and spend much needed time together. The lake is just a short walk away and the neighbors are a pleasure. Will definitely book again our next time “up north”!

What a terrific getaway!

It was everything we pictured and more...and our dogs thought so, too! We had 4 nights, and we probably drove our car ONCE during that time; the cottage and Lake George had everything we needed to just relax and unwind. We hope we can make it an annual thing!
