Come enjoy all of the beauty Wisconsin nature has to give. This cozy cottage backs the Wyalusing State Park and sits just steps away from the Mississippi and Wisconsin River. Enjoy hiking or a picnic in the park or a nice day of boating and fishing, This property has access to it all. This fully furnished home is stocked with everything you need to have a cozy stay. The master bedroom boasts a king bed, fireplace and a large TV. Upstairs is separated by a small wall allowing more privacy to the 2 full size beds available. The property has starlink wifi for a strong connection. Home has a bar for adult enjoyment and entertainment. This is a cozy space you would regret not staying at. Book today! Please remember this property is in the middle of a park on 1/2 acre of land on the river .. You will see bugs as we wont ever have enough bug spray to make them disappear. There are trains that frequently travel by next to the river.

We’ve stayed at this property multiple times and throughly enjoyed our stay. WiFi was added since our last stay and it was a wonderful upgrade for us to bring our Roku. As others have mentioned there are multiple trains daily which we knew about. There is one around 7-7:20am which you should be aware of. This stay the sheets were a little more worn and there was more pet hair but the master bed was very comfortable. We would recommend staying here and probably will again.

Emjoyed the stay very much. Beautiful area.The property was very comfortable and kitched well-equipped. Enjoyed proximity to river front and Wyalusing State Park.Everything worked out great with the cottage. No unpleasant surprises.

Super cute home, stocked with anything you would need. The host was responsive with questions I had. The location is pretty perfect. It is a bit rustic and definitely in the country side.

We really love staying here. We did a little outside cleaning ourselves to enjoy the patio and porch areas. Otherwise was a wonderfulretreat.

Just what we needed

Property is fixed up very nicely and has a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. Even though it is on a highway, there was not a lot of traffic. The trains that went by provided entertainment for my kids! There were a lot of Asian beetles, but I knew that going in and it wasn’t an issue, just more annoying than anything. The thermostat kept resetting to 62, so we’d wake up or return from hiking and it would be chilly but heated up again fast. The kitchen has everything you might have forgotten and that was very much appreciated.

Overnight quick stay

It was a very nicely decorated home with lots of items available for use. It was pleasant overall except for the heat. It was very cold in the home and the bedroom was VERY cold. The fireplace and blankets helped but it was still cold. A manual explaining how the TV works and where stuff is would be helpful.

Very peaceful weekend. We thought the cottage was well equipped and fixed up cute. Only issue was the amount of Asian beetles inside. We had to continually vacuum them up. Could be a bit unsettling at times.

Relaxing stay with a great view.

This property is very clean and comfortable. Loved the decor and was very well stocked. It was so relaxing and felt like home. The view is great and so peaceful there. Would go again and suggest to others to go. Host was so easy to contact and answered fast. We were there on a annual girls trip.

Family getaway

The property was very nice. And clean. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was equipped with anything you would need. The only problem was the train that comes by all night. If you are a light sleeper its not the place to be.

Fabulous fall Stay

This home is located in a wonderful location. Just steps away from the Mississippi and right near Wyalusing state park. The home had a ton of character. Very uniquely decorated we especially loved the outdoor.. They also had lots of extras, anything you might need on your trip they had it there available.
