Unique, comfortable one room Efficiency Apartment (that's NOT a "one bedroom" apt - but a "one room" apt) with a very tiny (comparable to an airplane or boat) yet well equipped private bathroom. Characterized by its high ceilings, native mosaic tile floor, the space features three windows, including two large casement style windows, which open wide to provide continuous fresh ocean breeze and view of the water and sand and swaying palm trees!
The space is accessible through a private entrance, by a very cool interior stairwell, and is the former service quarters attached to a larger main apartment, which serves as a private residence
The apartment is within a 1940's era colonial style, four story walk-up building (top floor). There are three main apartments in the building, one on each floor, all occupied by permanent residents. This unit is in the back (north, ocean facing) end of the main apartment at the penthouse level , attached, but separate.
The unit includes a kitchenette, equipped with a mini fridge, large toaster oven, microwave oven, and a coffee maker! Also assorted plates, bowls, glasses, and silverware.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
This, in my humble opinion, is the best building, on the best street in the best neighborhood in Condado. This because its location is central, and at the same time not in the middle of things.
It’s straddles the line between what is Condado’s main tourist district, with its bars, restaurants, hotels, casinos, etc…and the Santurce area, particularly surrounding Loiza street, with its varied culinary options, art, music, etc. There are museums, historical sites including Viejo San Juan all within walking distance, not to mention the city’s most popular beach half a block away!
