Excellent place to stay for one person (or two, but I was by myself). The studio unit has a nice functional kitchen, equipped with everything needed to cook for yourself and not need to go out for every meal. But the location is so great that you could walk to a different restaurant every day. The bed is perfectly comfy, and the bathroom is quite nice. Towels and some toiletries are furnished, and there’s a nice amount of space for clothing storage. Highly recommend.

Family visit

Easy to GW get to from the airport. My family lives off 16 and this was a perfect place to stay for ease to travel to and from. There were so many different types of restaurants to try.

Comfy and cozy.

This is such a comfortable space. There is a little noise from the neighbors walking upstairs, but nothing terrible. The host is very friendly and attentive.

The host was kind and easy to communicate with, but the apartment was not as we had hoped. It is very small. The bed is tiny, a full bed, not a queen bed and much much too soft. The shower is so tiny that my husband had trouble even turning around in it. The neighborhood is noisy. The 7/11 next door may be open all night because there are constant noises. The blinds do not adequately cover the windows and every time the motion lights went on we woke up. We ended up leaving early and moving to a hotel

This studio apartment is a perfet place to stay for a single or a couple. It may be on the small side in square footage but it feels large in space efficiency and comfort. Lots of restaurants and hip businesses steps away. University of Puget Sound was a delightful walk from this charming apartment. I highly recommend it if you're staying in this eclectic neighborhood in Tacoma

OMG! An absolutely PERFECT city stay; loved every minute of it. Sooooo convenient - from x the street, it’s quick and easy to get to downtown Seattle or direct to the airport…each only 5! (Even less for Senoirs, students, etc). Or 5 for a local ALL DAY bus pass all around town…including ALL the fab Tacoma museums! The condo is the cleanest I’ve ever stayed at, and was chock full of really thoughtful surprises, like the borrowable umbrella, and coffee, and little snacks, and eucalyptus shower tab. WOW! The friendly, well fed two feral cats outside were an added JOY! Highly recommend neighborhood strolls through the campus of U of Puget Sound…both breathtaking and adorable. The PO, library and Safeway (grocery) are just a 36 min walk away, and seeing the charming area is so worth it, I did that twice! The tiny electric “fireplace” felt like a comfy, magical feature! Jenell is the most responsive host ever. The shower is tiny…but had a rainfall head and plentiful hot water. Bed was clean and comfy. Fun easy walk to High Voltage Records, 2 bookshops, many thrift places, good Indian food, and a yum burger truck (Bomb Burgers). Having a dedicated parking space was amazing, and I’m glad that I could’ve made cookies if I were in the mood. It IS a *CITY* vacation but the place is tucked in the back, so quieter than expected, and overnights were silent. The convenience store next door was handy, you wouldn’t know it’s there. The laundry room was FAB! 2 thumbs WAY up! Will be back!!!

Tiny but Mighty

I had a very pleasant stay at the 6th Ave Studio. It is very tiny but mighty! Start with the good - very clean & obviously well-cared for, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was amazing (great water pressure! wonderful rain shower showerhead plus hand held as well), surprisingly mostly quiet location. Perfect size for one person. I was concerned about safety given the location, but the way it's tucked in and has a really nice storm door with deadbolt and the regular door with deadbolt makes it feel safe. A couple negatives - parking is very tight; I had a Toyota Corolla and was concerned about being able to get in & out. There's no way I would have been able to make it in anything larger. I was disappointed that there wasn't a toaster. All in all - I would recommend this as a place to stay for 1 person coming to Tacoma.
