When you're done basking in the sun or watching dolphins frolic, retire to Boardwalk 1800 and unwind. This one bedroom, one bathroom hideaway sleeps up to two and features a comfy king size bed, a wet bar with a refrigerator and microwave plus a bathroom boasting a romantic garden tub. A balcony off of the bedroom completes the package and affords angled views of the sparkling sea.

The Boardwalk Beach Resort includes:

2,500 square foot zero entry pool (heated during winter months)

Parking & Resort Registration:
Boardwalk requires all guests to pre-register prior to arrival. A registration link will be sent to you closer to your check-in date to complete this process. Parking passes are $50 plus applicable taxes and include up to two (2) passes per reservation. In addition, resort-issued armbands are required for all guests and are $6 plus applicable taxes per person.

Wonderful!

We loved our stay!! This condo was super clean and perfect for my husband and myself. The only thing it needed was a washer/dryer to make it too notch. Loved and would stay again!!!

Relaxing stay

The room was clean and looked like the photos. The views were great. We could see both the city and the beach from the balcony. The property is well staffed. We only had a couple of suggestions and those were something to lay damp beach towels on to dry and maybe a countertop ice maker for drinks. All in all we enjoyed our trip and the resort.

We enjoyed our stay

Good room .. little smaller but still good since only the 2 of us The balcony has side view we enjoyed the privacy. We had problems figuring out where to Check In FYI it’s at the building with the Lite Purple roof. LOL

Kitchenette?

Booked via vrbo. Unit described as having a kitchenette. Does a mini-fridge and microwave count? Management told us unit had a cooktop, NOPE! Gave away the bacon and eggs we purchased before arriving at condo. Property was lovely, staff terrific. Just be mindful if you book via a third-party website, that may perhaps create trouble for you switching things around to meet your needs…

PASS ON THIS ONE

The condo is very small. The blanket, throw pillows and couch were disgusting. The kitchen counter was small and not practical. The refridgerator was all the way up and did not cool properly. The TV was small. If you need to contact someone, you will need to wait; there is no sense of urgency. There is no office, so your kind of on your own. The location and balcony are good, but that's about it.

Nice place to stay

My husband and I were very happy with this property. It was clean and lovely. Huge bathroom, huge tub, excellent separate shower, two sinks in the vanity area with a large counter space. We didn't cook there and the kitchen area is small, but that didn't make any difference in our stay. We only used the fridge. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony affords a view of both the ocean and the city to the south since this is an end unit, which was nice. Parking is easy with very friendly gatekeepers. There is sand all over the property, obviously, so we were careful not to track in too much to the condo. (It does have a vacuum that we used to clean up extra sand we brought in via my husband's wetsuit and gear.) I recommend this unit for two people and would go there again with no hesitation.

My husband and I enjoyed this condo for a long weekend! The bathroom is massive, but the shower is a little small. It was just right for a anniversary trip!

Honeymoon Getaway

It was the perfect spot for just us two to get away for the week. The couch should probably be replaced but other then that, it was clean and super convenient.

Great property

We had a wonderful romantic birthday weekend getaway! The Condo was very nice and clean. The bed was very spacious and comfortable. Easy booking with Vrbo and Royal American Beach Gateway host was very professional and friendly! Self check in was a plus. Property security made us feel safe. The room balcony was great on the left was a city view and on the right was the ocean view, very romantic at night. The pool was big and beautiful with two hot tubs and the restaurant had good food and drinks at the bar with live music every night was awesome! We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and family!

Disappointing

I stayed with my fiancé for a week. When we got there the place wasn’t cleaned at all. The floors, bed and couch were full of sand. We had to vacuum the whole place up the first night. They only gave us two shower towels for a 7 night stay. Everytime we needed something extra, we would have to call. The door dead bolt was broken, we reported it and no one came to fix it during the 7 days. There were dirty sheets on the bed under the clean sheets they placed. The extra sheets we had in the closet didn’t fit the bed, they were the wrong size. It was very disappointing and disgusting. We felt like we were sleeping in sand.

Amazing !

Our stay here was absolutely amazing, when we went to check in the attendant was super nice and helpful . The guards at the gate were extremely welcoming and answered all of our questions. Now the room. THE ROOM WAS SO NICE. Don't be put off by the patio being on the side and not having a full view of the ocean, we loved being able to see the ocean on our left but the night life of panama to our right. We will definitely be booking another stay here. Thank you !!

Nice Unit

We were here for 3 nights so it was just right for what we needed. Would recommend a different light in entrance & kitchen area as it was very dim. Beach, pool & Under the Boardwalk very nice.

Was great

The property was exactly what was shown in the pictures. The only issue we had was with the check-in process. We received a call the day of check-in and were informed that since we were arriving after 6pm we needed to check-in at a different building. Only issue is that I didn't even know where to check-in at to begin with. We were just going to show up and try and figure it out. More specifics could be useful instead of a generic check-in message.

Was exactly what we saw online, amazing views!! Convenient location!

Amazing views from balcony and great location. The property was exactly as advertised. I would like to recognize Ronnie and Shanita for outstanding customer service they are on-site security officers. The only bad thing I have to say about this trip was a security officer named Andrew he was awful and let his rent a cop badge go to his head, very very very rude!! Other than Andrew we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Review

I loved this resort. Every worker was super nice and helpful. Upon arriving though the check in place was different from the resort so I recommend further emphasizing that in the welcome letter. Also our key cards kept deactivating so be mindful of that. The location was perfect. The walk to the beach was great and the firework show was amazing! I would love to stay here again soon.

Do NOT Stay HERE!!

Let's start with the positives. The beach is beautiful and any of the 20,000 rooms would be better than here. I stayed there the week of 4th of July. we got there on a Monday and left on a Thursday. Wednesday we noticed a small black bug in the curtains. No cause for concern, it is just one. We got back from the beach that evening and keep seeing more of them in the curtains and couch. It is a studio so there is only one couch and one set of curtains. Then we lifted the mattress cover and little black bug was there. We put these little creatures in a bottle and took them down to the management office. The lady was surprised said "they are just sand fleas, just wash everything and they will die". My girlfriend then googled sand fleas and they are not black. I am holding the bottle with two BED BUGS and she is holding the phone with tan sand fleas. Today, we have sprayed everything with a kit from Home Depot and now on our 8th load of laundry. if you stay here and need pointers on what to do, we have a system and it is working GREAT!

Great but a few things was off.

Bed was squeaky and I wish there was no carpet. And the room was different than the photos listened. They were similar though. But it was really clean and the resort was super nice. Overall a wonderful experience
