Lake Retreat With Hot Tub

The Cozy Nest is an adorable three-bedroom, pet-friendly cottage with amazing views of a quiet, no-wake lake. There is a private, 4-person hot tub overlooking the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your use. Fiber optic wifi will keep you connected. There are a couple of bicycles available for exploring the surrounding countryside as well as a canoe, tandem kayak, and paddle boat to venture out on the water. Shipshewana is a quick 15-mile drive away.

Cedar Lake is great for fishing or enjoying the water. It isn't good swimming off our shore. But the views are amazing!

The main bedroom has a king-sized bed plus a day bed with a trundle. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a desk. The third bedroom has two twin beds.

The hot tub runs all year and accommodates four people.

We do our best to provide a full-service and friendly stay!!

The location on the lake is perfect and being pet friendly was an added bonus! The inside of the home is very cozy, lots of amenities, and the master room is very spacious! The host was extremely responsive and helpful regarding info about the property. The overall cleanliness was fair in a few areas. Our master sofa bed had a lot of dog hair left behind so if you aren't people who have shedding dogs it was a little discouraging. The fridge had several food items left behind, some of which were expired. And unfortuantely the shower isnt very inviting. The bottom half of the shower liner was covered in mold and mildew so you tried not to touch anything while using it. Would I re book and return? ABSOLUTELY! The location trumps all!

The house was decorated nicely and clean. It was perfect. Great view of the lake. The hosts were checking in the entire stay to make sure everything was good. All we had to bring was clothes and food. Everything else and more was provided. It was also the best checkout ive ever had. No cleaning or stripping beds. The checkout instructions were simple, put the watercraft and outdoor furniture back where you found it and lock the door. I will definitely rent from them again when in this area. And they are pet friendly but you wouldnt know it. Great place. Thank you

Perfect Lake Getaway!

My husband and I stayed here for a much needed getaway from the kids! It was so peaceful - we didn't want to leave! We enjoyed all the amenities of the Cozy Nest, especially a sunset canoe ride around the lake and the private hot tub!

Peaceful and relaxing!

We had a wonderful, relaxing time together while at The Cozy Nest. The sunrises over the water were absolutely beautiful! The abundance of turtles that gathered on the dock kept us entertained. If you need a relaxing getaway and a place to stay while visiting Shipshewana this is the place for you!

We were there for the rodeo and we chose this close location. The location is incredible so beautiful.Very nice hot tub outdoors but private. Would love to stay again.

perfect cozy getaway

What a cute little place! Perfect for our family and dog. It looks out at the beautiful lake and comes with all sorts of extras like kayaks and bikes. We stayed in the winter so we didn't take advantage of any of the water items but we did make a campfire and s'mores (ingredients provided at house). We also chilled in the hot tub. We had the most relaxing time! The location of this property is great - a few.minutes from stores for groceries, the amish town of Shipshewana and a short drive from hiking trails. Greg was so welcoming and kindly checked in via the app to see if we needed anything. Looking forward to coming back to the cozy nest next summer!

Cute lake place

Overall this is a nice place to stay. Plenty of spices for cooking available as well as mixing bowls mixers spatulas Etc. The hot tub was nice and we got to take the paddle boat on the lake. This made for a nice getaway for my granddaughter and I.
