Enjoy a swim with your guests in the sandy bottom swimming area or take the paddle boards or kayak for a ride down the shore line. Finish your day sharing stories around the picnic table or campfire. If you prefer to be indoors, the open concept living area will accommodate your group nicely.

This was our 3rd year to stay at Craigs place! We always have a great stay and the area is beautiful! This year we had a little hiccup with the code to enter the house when we arrived, but Craig was contacted and he reset the code immediately! Beds are very comfortable and everything you need is available!

Second time visiting! Comfortable home, well stocked, clean and communication with Craig was amazing. Wishing and the view of the Lake are priceless. Friendly people in town and local food is great too.

This is our second year staying at this beautiful home and we will continue to return. The property is lovely, well maintained and in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful view of the lake. We love sitting on the deck in the evening and watching the boats go by. Colon is half a mile away and easy to walk into to town to the local restaurants. We have a wonderful stay every time we come!

This was exactly as described..but better! Location was perfection! We visited over Memorial Day and had a blast watching the boats. We visited all 3 restaurants in Colon (Dawn's Cafe, Curlys and 5 Star Pizza). Do not miss out on the pizza 10/10! Beds were comfy, shower was great and kitchen well stocked. Also enjoyed visiting Yoders Market just a show drive away. Thanks for that rec, Craig! We came home well rested with wonderful memories made.

We enjoyed our family vacation on Palmer Lake. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, the location was beautiful on the water and very close to town. Our family had a wonderful time!

Perfect cottage right on the water. Great little village grocery store just a few minutes away. We always love being in Amish country. The front deck addition is awesome!

Great Lake Vacation!

This is our second summer at this property and we were not disappointed. The deck is a new addition and nice gathering space for games, eating, etc. Swimming off the dock is great and the large yard gives space to play out of the water. Highly recommend.

Our first experience staying on a lake was beyond fabulous! The house and amenities were perfect for our family of 4 and our little dog. The cleanliness was impeccable and we will be sure to book again!

We could not have been happier with our stay at the Cozy Lakefront Getaway! The home is clean, comfortable, and well-stocked! The new deck overlooking beautiful Palmer Lake is the perfect spot for morning coffee, and an evening glass of wine! Check-in and check-out were seamless and Craig was a pleasure to work with! Great Lake Vacation

Our family had a great time on Palmer Lake. Swimming off the dock is excellent and there is lots of room to play in the front yard. The house was clean and well-stocked. Owner was very helpful with the few questions we had. Highly recommend!

Beautiful lake front

My family and I had a wonderful week at this cottage. Right on the water. Cottage was very clean and updated with plenty of sleeping space and views. Craig was great to work with! Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway

We were looking for someplace quiet, peaceful but with some lake fun! This place checked all the boxes. We had a fantastic time, swimming, enjoying the large yard, fishing, etc. The house was clean, kitchen was stocked with appliances, pots and pans better than anything we have ever stayed at! Our kids loved it and already have asked when we can go back!

Beautiful place to stay! We keep coming back! Inside is spacious, clean, beds are comfortable and has everything you need! Has a beautiful deck that we used in the morning to sit and drink coffee and enjoy the lake and at night we just enjoyed watching everyone on the lake and then the sunset. Craig has lights strung so you can stay out longer into the evening! Great dock to swim off! Craig is wonderful to work with!

Great as always

Well maintained lake home that our family of 4 and our dog have now stayed at three times. Listing as described and it’s a convenient and reasonable ride from Chicago. Kids enjoyed the magic capital of the world (including a show), local ambiance, fishing, bonfires, and jumping in the lake. Hope to visit again!

Wonderful time

The house is well kept with all the amenities you need. Very spacious and accommodating. The Lake is swim ready. We fished off the dock as well. Such a great getaway. We'll visit again for sure. Craig was very responsive and answered all our questions. Thank you

Can’t wait to return!

The house and property was amazing! Great host, so clean, and had everything you needed to make your stay great! The view was gorgeous and nothing like walking out to the lake and taking in the scenery! We fished right off the dock and had a blast🐠 Can’t wait to go back again! If there was a higher rating, I would give it!

Second time staying

We enjoyed our stay last year so much, we came again. Got to enjoy the water - swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. Went to the parks in town, magic show/shop, and some of the local restaurants. Home is in great condition with a lovely lot and view, and Craig was super responsive. Thanks for having us again!
