El hogar.
169 Ocean Street misa Marshfield. Perfecto 180 grados vista al mar desde Brant Rock "High Road". La foto del amanecer fue tomada desde el dormitorio superior y es typica !. Casa se ha mantenido prácticamente sin cambios desde construida hace más de 100 años. La casa tiene tres habitaciones, todas con vista al mar. Tres pueden dormir en cada una de las habitaciones laterales al mar idénticos - en la cama de matrimonio y construido en la cama tamaño de ventana gemela. El tercer dormitorio dispone de espacio para dos camas de cuna (suministrado). Sala de sol con sofá-cama se puede utilizar como un dormitorio si se desea. Gran patio trasero y la cubierta perfecta para el entretenimiento. Aparcamiento para seis coches en el lote, que es crucial en este aparcamiento mala ubicación. Chimenea de gas, la escalera de la mañana, comedor lo suficientemente grande para diez. Calor de gas y estufa de gas. Cottage viene con internet inalámbrico, televisión por cable, lavavajillas, lavadora / secadora, ropa de cama, todo incluido. Mobiliario elegidos para que coincida con la casa. Almacenamiento en armarios, y dentro de camas de silla de diácono muy grandes con puertas de acceso abiertas. Tenga en cuenta que no se pueden realizar reembolsos después de la llegada. La calle:

My partner and our two small dogs stayed here for a long weekend and had a nice time. The kitchen seemed well stocked, though we did not cook. There was plenty of towels, sheets, pillows and blankets. The view from the front of the house was amazing (as was the sunrises) and the road in front of the house was very quiet (full disclosure: we were there off season and at the tail end of a nor eastern). The house is a well lived in Victorian farmhouse style. Quirky and comfortable, big family rooms, smaller bedrooms, overall in need of a little TLC. Parking is behind the house and there is a nice area of lawn there too. There is no fenced in area for dogs and the back area feels communal as it is open to the neighboring houses. We usually vacation in lower Maine, the Cape and CT so we were not familiar with the predominantly rocky beaches. We did explore the beaches of Duxbury, Rexham, Marshfield, Plymouth and Scituate and all the beaches were rocky with sandy patches. Check in was seamless and communication was excellent including some great insider tips and recommendations.

It was a great house with lots of character, everyone involved was great we had no issues at all, met many new friendly people and enjoyed lots of fresh seafood. There are many places to go and things to see, the seals were out every morning and are great company over cofffee... we had a great time and will always have fond memories of this time, we hopefully will make it out again, l would highly recommend a stay here to anyone looking for a perfect beach vacation!

169 Ocean Street Brant Rock

The house is wonderful. Large rooms with updated Kitchen. The view of the ocean is magnificent. Nothing beats sitting on the front porch in the morning with my coffee watching the sun rise and the seals swimming. In the afternoon the back porch has a great view of the Brant Rock jetty and the ocean. Very relaxing after swimming in the afternoon at the sandy beach. Then off to one of the many restaurants, within walking distance. Then stop at Rocky Roads for an ice cream cone or a sundae concoction on the way home.

Beautiful property and location. Walking distance to a few restaurants. Nice marsh preserve area to enjoy! Daily seals in the water to watch. Nice dead end rd will minimal cars. Great for daily walks with the dog.

Cozy and Comfortable

Thank you, Patrick for a wonderful stay in Marshfield. The house was easy to find, had a beautiful view and was well stocked with kitchen supplies and more than enough bathroom linens. Due to staying in February, the weather was not nice enough to walk around and explore; however, if you do stay in warmer weather, there are several places to visit. Enjoy!

Very relaxing stay on the ocean

Fall trip

This property was right on the ocean there was a market within walking distance several restaurants and a couple of quiet bars there was a family of seals that kept us entertained the whole weekend also!!!! We had a blast we have traveled all over and we like going to different spots this was actually the first time my wife said she would like to come back to the same spot

Location! Location! Location!

This historic and quirky beach house will have you engulfed in the sounds and smells of the ocean. So many things within walking distance. Patrick was super helpful with providing information. You can tell he enjoys hosting and insuring his quest enjoy thier stay. We are forever grateful.

Great location for vacation

The view from the front porch is wonderful in both the morning and evening. There are great sunrises and sunsets over the ocean, there are seals in the water to watch. There is a sandy beach within walking distance. And 3 beaches within a short drive. There is a choice of restaurants within walking distance to satisfy different choices. A local market and stores to shop in. A wonderful ice cream shop open all day and even8ng.

Perfect location, everything you need

Some extended family members and I stayed for the weekend, and there's not much more I can say other than it was perfect for us and had everything we needed. Would definitely go back.

Wonderful ocean experience

My wife and I rented Patrick's house for a month to give my California-born wife a sense of a South Shore winter as we consider a potential move to the area. The house itself is wonderful - it's well maintained and exudes New England charm as it was built in 1910. The house is fully functional, comfortable, and pleasure to stay in. The house is a rock-solid testament to the quality of materials and carpentry that were typical of the early 20th century. During the two nor'easters that hit during our stay, the house didn't even twitch with wind gusts hitting 60mph. You cannot help but connect to the ocean, which is right across Ocean St. from the house and showed all aspects of its personality from a calm blue mill pond, to an unending train of large grey waves driven by the winds of the nor'easter. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves breaking on the rocks was magical. There is a lot to do around the neighborhood, even in the middle of winter - good local restaurants and markets. Marshfield and the towns surrounding it have a large assortment of restaurants, bars, and shops of all kinds, many of which pay homage to the rich history of the area. Patrick and his cousin Kirk were very responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a New England seaside vacation home.

Great long weekend

We really enjoyed our long weekend in this special house. It’s much more unique than staying in a local hotel and the view was spectacular. It fit our family of five well and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was excellent too. The house is right down the street from several restaurants and a small grocery store. Despite it being the off season, several places were open. The location was close to other nice towns and less than an hour from the Boston. I would recommend walking along Brant Rock Beach and listening to the waves flowing in and out along the pebbles. That was lovely. Thank you again for accommodating a later check out time for us and owning such a special place on the water.

Getting ready for the wedding!

I got married over Labor Day weekend and my wedding party stayed here with me the night before the wedding… and then my husband and I stayed for a few nights after the wedding! it was the perfect location to wake up and walk the beach before all the wedding festivities. The views from every room in the house were gorgeous. Lots of parking. Easy to walk across the street for some wedding photos! The house is old but charming. Very comfortable. Nice sitting space. Thankfully we had one of the only nice weekends of the summer… no rain or humidity. The only disappointment was that the owner had told me there would be air conditioners in the bedrooms which wasn’t actually the case. He had assured me the sea breeze would keep things cool, but I was a bit worried that it could be hot getting hair and makeup done for wedding. But, thankfully we had no humidity that weekend and didn’t need them after all. I would recommend this house for a lovely, casual beachfront getaway!

Massachusetts native born and raised in Brockton. Used to come here constantly in summers. Loved it. Teaching in Vancouver BC now but plan to retire into this home eventually. In the meantime its my pleasure to make this home available to my family and a few select folks who may become family too!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This property was selected after years looking. Its above the flood line so has avoided damage for 100 years. Has a classic victorian summer cottage three sided veranda which sold me. It needed work and will require tinkering forever but thats its charm too. A huge number of people can gather to chat and dine either inside, or under the sky, or under the porch roof. Huge back yard makes parking a breeze and that ends up being more important than you think.

Dramatic ocean views from every bedroom. You really feel like you are in a boat from up there, the water is that close.
