Woodland Whimsy a private escape w/ hot tub, pool, sunroom on 3 acres
Welcome to Woodland Whimsy — your retreat away from the city; a place of serenity to commune with your loved ones and all magical woodland creatures alike. Perfect for friends, family, and everything in between.
Our three-bedroom, two-bath home is located centrally in the Hudson Valley and sits on a little over three acres of land, surrounded by trees. The house is at the end of a gravel driveway and offers lots of privacy but is only a 10-15 drive away from both Saugerties and Woodstock.
The space features:
- kitchen stocked with essentials — coffee maker, blender, toaster, instapot, dishwasher and microwave
- abundance of backyard space with an outdoor firepit to gather around
- hot tub to soak in no matter the season
- 4’ deep aboveground pool to cool off
- beautiful screened-in sun room/patio where you can work, meditate, or grill
- 65” 4K Smart TV in the living room
- extra quiet downstairs space
- plenty of spaces to cowork & high speed internet (300 mbps)
- washer & dryer
- generator in case of power outages
This home is our personal retreat, lovingly owned by two humans like yourself (not a corporation). Please take care of it as your own and put everything back where you found it.
We are happy to be flexible with check in and check out times if we can accommodate.
We have Ring cameras at the main and bottom entrance to the house, for security purposes.
PLEASE NOTE:
- the house is at the end of a gravel road that is uphill. In the winter, a car suited for snowy/icy conditions (e.g. four wheel drive) is required.
- the pool is open from around May/June to the beginning of October. Please confirm with us before booking if you are hoping to use the pool around those times. The hot tub is open all year round.
- the indoor wood stove in the living room is only for display and is not to be used. The outdoor fire pit is available for use.
When sending a booking request, please send a little note telling us about your trip and who you're traveling with! We will NOT accept requests without this information.

Our names are Cat & Juriy. We are (pretty much) NYC natives who enjoy (in no particular order): food, fitness, technology, nerdy things, travel, and learning. We enjoy putting love into our home, sharing our little slice with others, and seeing how much enjoyment others get from our space.

We love this area because it is so serene, peaceful, and private, yet is in close proximity to downtown Saugerties and Woodstock. The Hudson Valley is beautiful in all seasons!

We actually spend quite a bit of time at our home - we actually live in it. We are individuals, not a corporation, so we create the experience we would want when we travel - we want to feel right at home, with a well-stocked house and kitchen, and lots of personal and thoughtful touches.
