Escape to Castaway on Treasure Island—a newly renovated 1BR waterfront retreat tucked away on a quiet, hidden island of just twelve homes in New Port Richey. Surrounded by nature and calm waters, this charming getaway offers everything you need for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Step into the open dining area and out to a beautiful screened lanai, the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee as fish jump and birds dive just beyond the screen. Fire up the BBQ grill for a fresh-caught dinner, or cast a line from your private dock and see what bites!

Inside, the modern kitchen features gorgeous granite countertops and is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, oven/air fryer, and dishwasher—ideal for cooking up anything from quick snacks to romantic dinners.

The home is stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. If there’s anything missing, your host is just a few houses down and always happy to help.

Located on a peaceful dead-end road, there’s little traffic—perfect for biking. Bring your own or borrow one of ours and explore the island at your leisure.

Just a short walk away at the north end of the road, you’ll find the community kayak launch and campground, exclusive to guests of Treasure Island NPR:

Kayak Launch Area: Access complimentary kayaks, a convenient dock, and a crab trap. Life vests are provided. Be sure to check the tides—high tide is best for paddling out into the bay.

Community Campground: Enjoy a covered grilling area with picnic tables, string lights (just ask Alexa to “turn on the grill lights”), outdoor games, a cozy fire pit with Adirondack chairs, and a peaceful trail through the nearby woods. Roast marshmallows under the stars and unwind after a perfect day.

Kristy reached out before we left home giving us peace of mind. The bungalow was beautiful! We loved being right on the waterfront with the option of a screened in lanai. Everything was clean and literally perfect. We are already planning to return!
