Simply Elegant -- Visit the OBX and Overlook the Currituck Sound

This waterfront property is 5 minutes from the OBX and an excellent weekend retreat. A large, covered deck overlooks beautiful sunrises and the crystal-clear swimming pool. You can enjoy the OBX and return to birds flying, fish jumping (sometimes dolphins!) & fishermen through the windows as you relax inside.

The space is designed for enjoying the company of family and friends; therefore, there is one (1) TV in this rented area.

There are three (3) vehicle parking spaces. One (1) space is under the carport; two (2) spaces are between the lattice and rocks by the car port. Red reflectors mark those spaces.

The owners live on the third floor of this beautiful home.

There are golf courses, a water park, parks with boat ramps, a distillery, and restaurants within 5 miles of the home. The Outer Banks, which is 5 miles away, offers ocean dining, putt putt golf, a shopping outlet and many exciting activities.

Please review, sign and send the Swimming Pool and Hot Tub Waiver to the property manager. See Renters Agreement for the Waiver which you will be able to download and review after booking.

The swimming pool and hot tub are professionally maintained weekly.

External security surveillance is on the property.

House was great & the owners were very responsive and friendly! Perfect for our group of 6 for the long weekend.If you're staying for longer, be aware that there is a very small kitchenette. The hosts let us know about this ahead of time, so we could plan accordingly, but I'd overlooked it in the listing. All-in-all, we had a great stay!

Pool and hot tub were great, and the bedrooms and pool table enjoyable. Location was good so that we could get to hang gliding and beach activities.We were surprised that there was no kitchen, but rather a small refrigerator and ice maker. We were there to celebrate birthdays, so we brought cake and other items.Recommend updating the listing to clarify the kitchen situation. Also recommend reducing the number of air fresheners as the scent was strong.

Amazing Home in Point Harbor!!!!

This home is conveniently located just across the bridge from the Outer Banks. This gorgeous home overlooks the sound and has a wonderful pool and hot tub. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing property. The host was very good at responding to our questions and the communication was excellent. The property was very comfortable and very clean. We will definitely stay at this property again when we are back in the area. It is centrally located and was very convenient when doing all of the activities on the Outer Banks.

Exactly as advertised

The space was lovely - clean and impeccably maintained. Communication was very good - we received prompt responses to messages and questions. The water views from the property are spectacular and the location was excellent. The home is on a side street that is quiet and relatively private, yet has easy access to stores and restaurants. The kitchenette has a small refrigerator, sink, and microwave, but no cooktop. This wasn’t a problem for us as we were out exploring and had meals while we were out and were able to keep snacks and prepared foods at the house. We had a great experience and would absolutely recommend this property.

Perfect!

We had a mom/daughter weekend, and this was the perfect space! The owners were communicative, accommodating, and kind. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, and there was more than enough room for the 7 of us. The outdoor space is wonderful, and the view can't be beat. We would totally recommend this house for a group stay.

Super cute comfy stay

The place was absolutely beautiful and easy to find. It had a gorgeous view of the water, a pool with tons of amenities, and it was very close to the main road to get around town. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet at night which was a huge plus.The owners live on property but we didn't see/hear them at all so it felt very private. They provided us a ton of amenities for snacks, water, bathroom supplies, as well as a super adorable gift bag with some locally made trinkets. It felt a lot like staying in a hotel with the privacy of a home and we loved that.The only downside was that it had no kitchen (there was a mini fridge, ice maker, and microwave) so it wouldn't be ideal for anyone wanting to stay longer than a couple of nights if you don't want to spend a ton on take-out or restaurants, but if we're ever doing a weekend away again, we would definitely rebook. Owners were very responsive on the app and check in/checkout was a breeze, and for the location it was very affordable.It definitely earns all five stars.

Fabulous Place but missing things

The house was fabulous!!! The pool and hot tub fabulous, the pool deck, deck, parking and fire table area all fabulous!! Communication with the property Manager Fabulous!! The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the home is built to hold 9 people but the house doesn’t have a refrigerator big enough to accommodate that many people. We had 5 ladies celebrating our 50th birthdays and we couldn’t put lunch meat, condiments and enough drinks to accommodate all of us in the tiny college room sized fridge. Also, there was no stovetop so there was no way to cook anything outside of a microwave. There were no plates, bowls and No silverware whatsoever. There was plenty of coffee, coffee making items and mugs and there was a blender to make drinks. There was a small ice machine, which was nice. There were plenty of toiletries. Everything except a good sized fridge, plates and silverware. Minor thing but huge when you don’t know that they aren’t there. Especially if you want to get milk and make a bowl of cereal in the morning.
