Amazing and beautiful family friendly vacation house

This house exceeded our wants and needs. It was beautiful and we felt right at home. The amenities were amazing and the hosts thought of every detail!

Perfect place for family

We loved this place for our family/friends trip. There were a lot of toys and the trampoline/backyard was perfect to keep all our kids entertained. The living room and kitchen was also very spacious for us to hangout in. The host was very kind and responsive. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Home away from home in San Diego

We had a wonderful stay — it truly felt like a home away from home! The house was incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, with beautiful decor and every amenity you could need. The open layout gave our kids plenty of space to run around, and they were especially thrilled with all the books and toys available. The backyard was super cute and perfect for relaxing.Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better — just about 15 minutes from both SeaWorld and the zoo. Everything was top-notch, from the kitchen equipment to the overall setup. We would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting San Diego, especially families with young kids!

This is the best VRBO ever! The host was awesome. She kept in touch throughout the stay to make sure all was good with the house and we were happy. She was very willing to help with any issues we had, no matter how small. And there really were no issues! The house was very clean. ( and i am a clean freak!!) The kitchen had top of the line appliances and was well equiped to make cooking easy and fun. There were lots of little amenities like lotions, soaps and such. And tons of toilet paper! The backyard was quiet and relaxing. ( The neighbors cat that our dog kept chasing might not agree with that statement.) Our pup loved running and playing in the yard and enjoyed great sniffs in the plantings that made the yard so warm and welcoming. The neighborhood felt very safe and was actually friendly and welcoming. If we could, we would give this property way more than 5 stars. It was that nice!

Perfect Family Spot!

I've stayed in many VRBO locations and this was by far my FAVORITE! Our host Anne was communicative throughout the entire process, and made us feel so welcome in their home. For families with kids (especially younger ones), this was perfect! We were two families with 3 littles and it was great for us, they have a toddler bed, pack n play, crib, high chair, booster seat, boppy... you name it! It was great to not have to lug those things around. The backyard was a great setup for the kids, they loved the trampoline, little play house, cozy coupe, etc. Anne and family even left us a little snack package to welcome us in! We even got to bring our dog who was recovery from surgery, which made me feel so great not having to board her. We would hands down stay here again in a heartbeat! I also didn't mention, but the location itself was close to SDSU, beach, zoo, etc. Everything within 15 min drive. Thank you Anne and family, we had a wonderful stay!

San Diego Trip

We just wanted to take a few minutes to sing the praises of the Host and property. We actually had another property reserved but the host had to cancel with us because of a scheduling error. We found this property and it was perfect for us. We needed 3 bedrooms and something close to the world famous San Diego Zoo. This property was 18 minutes from the Zoo. The host, Anne, could not have been more helpful and accommodating with us. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome in her rental. The home was in great shape, comfortable furniture and good internet. The key to the home for us was how it was for our granddaughter. There is an abundance of toys, games and even a trampoline that was perfect. There were other personal touches by the wonderful host. All-in-all it was a terrific residence for us. We travel to San Diego every year or two. We will make this house the centerpiece of our future travel. Thank you very much for allowing us into your home.

We are an active-duty military family. Shaun is proudly serving in the US Navy for 17 years, and Anne has been working in Pharmaceutical Sales for 19 years. We have three young children—Catherine (8), John (6), and Michael (3)—which is why you'll find many family-friendly items throughout our home.

We immediately fell in love with this neighborhood for its charm and family-friendly atmosphere. It is a hidden gem in the center of San Diego and exceptionally quiet. El Cerrito, our neighborhood, received Nextdoor's award for being one of the most patriotic neighborhoods in the United States. The wide, freshly paved streets and well-lit sidewalks make it perfect for a leisurely stroll. In the summer, the community hosts Flamingo Fridays, where neighbors gather for a potluck. On the 4th of July, there's a neighborhood parade, and at Halloween, children can enjoy the "Boo" parade.
