Farmhouse Cottage @ Old Pine Retreats
This is your house if you are looking to experience the beauty of the rugid Montana landscape just minutes outside of Billings, while in a uniquely designed tiny home. The Farmhouse Cottage @ Old Pine Retreats is a rustic, farmhouse themed home that is loaded with breathtaking views. Guests can take in the landscape next the wall of windows and fireplace in the living room or enjoy a meal with friends on the main level deck. If this isn't enough, there is a roof-top deck that is sure to please!
Old Pine Retreats mission is to create space for guests to Retreat, Rest and Restore. Our core values include: Accessibility, Beauty, Solitude and Slow Time.
The Farmhouse Cottage at Old Pine Retreats is a newly built house (2024) that is located in the Lockwood area just minutes outside of Billings! This house is located 15 minutes from MetraPark Arena, 20 minutes from both hospitals and downtown Billings, as well as 25 minutes to the Zoo and Shiloh Crossing. The best part is that you will feel like you are in the middle of a remote forest.
The last 2 miles of road to the house is a dirt road. The road is steep and can get muddy in spots. We recommend vehicles with all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive capabilities. During the winter months, 4 wheel drive will be essential. Due to limited parking spots, vehicles with trailers are not allowed.
This house is one of three that make up Old Pine Retreats. Each house is approximately 100 yards apart from each other. However, guests will hardly see the neighboring houses as the trees and design of each house is such that guests will have your own private space.
The additional 3 houses on the property (1027, 1029 and 1018 Restoration Way) are the hosts' private homes. These houses are also situated to provide privacy for each of the guest houses. Hosts are available for any guest needs during their stay.
The Farmhouse Cottage has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The upstairs bedroom comes with desk for a work space, a mini fridge, and access to the rooftop deck. There is also a large main level deck featuring furniture and a fire pit. The house has a full kitchen that is fully stocked and a living room that includes a gas fireplace. There is radiant heating throughout the house and mini splits in each room for cooling.
Parking is limited. There is a max of 2 vehicle spaces.

We believe finding a place of solitude that is removed from the clutter and distractions of every day life. The property is made up of 60 acres of beautiful and rugged, wide-open Montana landscape that provides an experience of being in a mountain getaway. While the 3 houses are in proximity of one another, each has been intentionally situated so that you will feel like you have your own secluded space.
Slow Time
We believe in the importance of slow time in the midst of lives often filled with hurry and hectic schedules. Here, we want you to be able to enter into that slow time and allow yourself to be immersed into the beauty and serenity of the space.
