Our Beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 bath East Hampton Cottage is only a 10 min walk to town. There is a beautiful sidewalk that leads right into town and straight to Main Beach! You can walk, bike or jog to the town or Main Beach and it's only 3 min walk to the Famous Round Swamp Farm. It's a straight path of beautiful sidewalk from our Cottage through town all along a beautiful scenic sidewalk right to Main Beach. It's less than a mile to Walk to Nick and Toni's, East Hampton Grill, Citarella's grocery store, local farm stands, The Palm, and lots of high end shopping, along with many other great restaurants, and pubs, movie theater, art galleries, books stores, EH farmers market and so much more - all in walking distance. You can even take a free shuttle to Main Beach, or 5 min drive to Egypt beach. You can walk to everything! Avoid calling Ubers and avoid trying to find parking. You will find all the best Beaches only 5 to 10 mins drive, or walk..

The host was VERY responsive which was key for us. Also the location as well. We walked to Round Swamp - the small stand across the street was fantastic - and we loved the SHORT drive to Serafina and the Ocean. Hope to stay again next year!

Perfect spot in the Hamptons

Very nice 3-4 bed house close to everything in East Hampton. Easy bike or a longer stroll to grab coffee / food in the mornings. Super responsive host and easy all around experience

Wonderful stay!

Josephine was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the lead up and during our stay. She even got the pool opened up early for us! The location was stellar too - close enough to the action but far enough away to get privacy. Wish I really lived there!

We had a lovely stay at Josephine’s house. We have rented in this location before - great for access to town, Citarellas and all the shops. Kids enjoyed going to Moo Moos every night for ice cream. We love Round Swamp Farm just a few yards away. But we were surprised to find a farm stand loaded with fresh fruit, veggies and flowers every morning. Based on the honor system, there is listing with prices and a pay box. We loved checking out the daily offerings! The pool is amazing as is the expansive backyard. We WILL be back!

Loved being close to Round Swamp Farm and very easy to get into East Hampton. Cottage was exactly as photographed and everything was clean. Unfortunately we did have issues with the house alarm system and connected smoke detectors at first, but the host was very quick to call and give a fix.

We had a great stay at this home in East Hampton. It was a great location for our trip and our group and we loved having a pool at the house. There were some minor things that for the price we paid would have been nice to have like extra toilet paper, washing detergent and dishwasher detergent. We have 7 guests and the house allowed for 8 and we had to go buy toilet paper because there was not any extra. And we couldn’t wash and reuse our towels for the 4 days we stayed because there was no detergent left there. We also noticed some spiders in one of the rooms so I think it could use a pest spray. But other than that it was a great stay for our weekend trip!

Loved our stay! Perfect location in East Hampton!

We had a great weekend at this cottage. It was the perfect size for our group of 8 people - house came with everything we needed. We utilized the BBQ several times throughout the weekend for meals, but was very convenient being able to walk to round swamp farm about 100 yds away. House was centrally located and made it easy for us to travel to events in Montauk, and also around Amagansett/East Hampton. Would stay here again!

Sweet and well kept house

We enjoyed our stay but as people who don't know the area well, we felt a bit misled on the proximity to town and the beach. The road is SO busy and SO noisy. It was great to have the bikes and our host was a wonderful communicator for our various questions during our stay. One tip we meant to mention - the ice machine needs to be fixed!

Excellent stay in East Hampton

Very easy process to check in and out. Photos shown of the listing are current and accurate. The cottage was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with a sparkling pool that we enjoyed on warm summer days. There were plenty of beach towels and even new pool floats in packages. The listing mentioned a hot tub, but there wasn’t one on site. All other amenities were as listed. We appreciated the manager being very responsive to any questions, but we didn’t have many. We prepared and ate several meals in the house, so we noted that a few kitchen basics could be helpful for the next guests: an oven mitt for hot items, a baking sheet, a cutting board, a few kitchen towels for drying hands and water glasses/mugs. We enjoyed the location, especially walking to Round Swamp Farm for excellent fruit, veg, and take-away items (their curry chicken salad is delicious), but the noise of fast-moving traffic (large trucks, boat trailers, etc.) could be a bit loud and lasted throughout the evening. Overall, an excellent stay. Thank you!

Worst house rental experience in 30+ years

MBR not as depicted in photos; house not kept up; needs a lot of work; long flight of stairs to bedrooms; hall light at top inoperative; unsafe; asked to have it fixed were told to leave the light on in one of the bedrooms instead; light over the kitchen table also inoperative; were told it was on the same circuit breaker as upstairs hallway light, that it needed to be fixed but didn't have time to repair it between tenants; were told to use the lamp that had been left on kitchen table, but none left there; spray for the shower in downstairs tub broken; could only be used by hand, not as a shower head; shelf behind toilet in that bathroom falling down; towel bar next to sink in upstairs bathroom loose; kept falling off & unpatched holes in wall above and behind cabinet; no screens in the window in upstairs master & downstairs bedrooms; gas barbeque filthy as if never cleaned; garbage never collected; pool never cleaned; outdoor furniture chairs threadbare; 1 of 2 pool chairs broken; bucket under the sink in the kitchen apparently placed there to catch leaks in lieu of repair; 6 dinner plates; 2 tiny bowls; no small plates; lint catcher in dryer full; tv in master BR next to bed where impossible to watch while in bed; batteries dead in one of LR tv remotes; etc., etc.
