Centrally located, only a 7-minute drive from the Ark Encounter, 7-minute walk to Main Street, and minutes from the Williamstown's other top attractions. This charming cottage is family-friendly, complete with a game room, including an air hockey/pool table, Pop-a-Shot basketball game and card table, and on the second floor, a kid's clubhouse and double twin over full bed with a slide. For mom and dad, a king-sized bed for comfort.

The place itself was very good. All that was advertised was there. There is not a lot to do in the area except for the ARC, which is why we went. Recommend doing better planning than we did to keep yourself busy. But it was a bucket list item so we were pleased.

The property was nicely decorated. We are not used to stiff doors & creepy floors. The 2nd bathroom was helpful. Too hot to sit outside but was inviting. The railing going upstairs was sticky. The lighting fixtures were cute. Overall not bad I realize it’s an old house.

The house was older but relatively comfortable with updates. There was some problems with doors closing and a nail was sticking up out of a floor board.

Family Vacation

Spacious and cozy! It is charming and lovingly updated while still holding onto that 1940s character. All of my kids aging from 18 to 5 loved the house especially the basement with the pool table, air hockey, and basketball game. The master bed was extremely comfortable, so I was able to get much needed rest. Everything you need to make your stay easy is there and labeled so you don't have to search. The back patio is a great place to relax and enjoy the night air or even sip a cup of coffee and read a book in the morning.The owners were extremely helpful when there was a minor snafu with the door code at check in - may have been operator error on my part or a weird technology glitch or a combination of the two. However, they got it taken care of, as soon as they were made aware and were very nice about the situation. We loved Opa's pizza there in town. We also loved Brother's BBQ in the neighboring town of Dry Ridge. The Ark Encounter is just a short drive and a must see! We also made the trip over to Ohio to visit the Creation Museum which was fantastic as well! On the KY side of the Ohio River we went to BB River Boat tours for a dinner cruise, and it was well worth the time! The kids were worn out at the end of each day but were still very excited to get back to the cottage and enjoy all the fun activities there in the basement!We had a wonderful vacation!

The cottage was perfect for my young 3,4 & 6 year old grandsons with the play areas and bunk bed system. The back porch was comfortable for morning and evening relaxation. Extremely close to the Ark Encounter and the Williamstown downtown was wonderful with the best Pizza Opa’s pizza and Ice cream shop near by. All easily to walk too from the cottage. The cottage had everything we needed and it was well stocked for what you need for your stay.

Cozy place to stay.

We loved the place and it located perfectly to all we wanted to see and do. The host was friendly and checked in with us to make sure everything was good and see if we needed anything. Very happy with our stay.

Nice and comfortable

We liked the property, I should say Wanda loved it,, but because of are age the railing on both sides would have been helpful, going up to master bedroom. We spent a lot of time on the deck. All the furnishings were very comfortable.

Perfect location for The Ark Experience

This home is 5 minutes from The Ark in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were so comfortable and I slept better than I do at home. Our kids are older so 2 slept in the bunk room & our youngest slept well on the sofa. Had our other son joined us, he could have slept on the sofa bed. The kitchen offered plenty of space for cooking and the dining room for eating or playing a game. The kids & I enjoyed the basketball, ping pong, air hockey, and pool table in the basement. The back porch is large and a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee while listening to the birds. My husband appreciated having a grill for his steaks. Last but not least, the large area for parking was crucial bc we haul a trailer and were able to park everything. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

Perfection!

This home was perfect for our family. In the basement were games, pool table, air hockey, pingpong, and a basket ball shot game. My boys were never bored! Only needed to buy groceries because the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. They had black makeup towels which I really appreciate not having to bring disposable makeup remover wipes.The hosts were very sweet and answered any questions quickly.

Nicely appointed cottage!

We had a great stay, our kids loved the game room in the basement! Thoughtful touches throughout for the kids which we appreciate as parents of 3 kids ages 10, 8 & 5. The bunk bed slide was a a big hit! Williamstown is a cute little town and it was nice to be so close to the Ark Encounter highly recommend Lilly’s cottage!

A Fun Trip

The Cottage was very clean, tidy, and welcoming. The host graciously allowed us to adjust day and time of our arrival. The games downstairs kept the children engaged, and the living room was comfortable for relaxing in the evening. The kids loved the bunk beds with the slide and the little reading room located off of the bedroom. All in all, it was a wonderful time away.

Wonderful place to stay with kids

We loved our stay! Our kids are 5, 8, and 12 and they all enjoyed the house. My husband and I agreed we felt like we were at home. Definitely recommend!

Perfection

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this cottage. From the moment you book your reservation everything is communicated to you. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with all of the thoughtful amenities. My husband was especially thankful for the wireless charges for his phone next to the bed as he forgot his charger and mine did not fit. This home truly was the perfect stay for my husband and I, along with our dog Maverick. The location was perfect for his walks throughout the day and it was an easy walk to the downtown shops. The Ark Encounter was an easy drive from the house as well as the Creation Museum. This was truly the perfect stay for our 31st Anniversary and birthday!! We look forward to visiting again when the weather is a little warmer.

Kid-Friendly, Cozy Home away from Home!

We loved spending our family getaway at Lily's Cottage! We stayed for 3 nights with our 5 young children (all under 7 years old) during our visit to the Ark Encounter. The home is very kid-friendly, cozy, and well-stocked. I loved having my coffee on the porch swing each morning, overlooking a peaceful, wooded valley. We appreciated that cabinets and closets were clearly labeled so we could easily find our amenities. The kids' room (bunk bed SLIDE!!!) and reading nook closet was a HUGE hit with our kids. We spent hours playing in the game-filled basement. These hosts have thought of everything! Jessica & Hollie are extremely kind, helpful, and very easy to communicate with. Thank you for a lovely time!

Charming home perfect for a family getaway.

We booked Lilly’s Cottage because of its proximity to The Creation Museum (40 min) and The Ark Encounter (5 min). The slide bed and reading nook were great for our 4 year old and 9 year old. The basement game room was also a nice escape for tge older boys. The highlight was definitely the swing on the back deck; perfect for relaxing after walking all day. Very satisfied!

Outstanding!

Loved our stay! Exceptionally clean! Host thought of everything right down to black washcloth for makeup removing and offered so many things from gates, dog bed, comfortable seating for relaxing. A very nice couple of days for us while we visited the Ark Experience. Not much else to do in the area Including dining but overall a great experience. Thank you!

Quiet and Quaint

Excellent place to stay. Super quiet neighborhood and close to The Ark and to places to eat. Home is super clean and they furnish all you need. We loved sitting on the covered porch every morning and having breakfast and then winding down the day there. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. They have everything for all ages. When we come back we will stay here again and will be recommending it to our friends and family.

Williamstown is an amazing place. It has the comforts of a small Christian southern town with the added bonus of a world-renowned attraction - the Ark Encounter.

We include for the benefit of small children: a high chair, a child safety gate, a child toilet seat cover and a child stool, a pack n play, as well as a play area in Bedroom 1.

We also have a box fan in Bedroom 2 closet.

Charging stations: there are charging stations on either side of the King Bed in Bedroom 2 and either side of the couch in the Living Room.

We have also included an Alexa smart home device in the kitchen and the Master Bedroom.

We provide snacks and water bottles and a fully stocked coffee bar for your stay.
