Prestigioso apartamento de diseño: en el corazón de París Canal Saint Martin

EDIFICIO

Este prestigioso grande (150 m2) apartamento reformado, está situado en el tercer piso de un edificio de estilo Haussmann muy clásico (con ascensor). Cuenta con pisos de madera húngaro punto, chimeneas de mármol y molduras de yeso agraciados en techos y paredes. Este apartamento ha sido renovado con buen gusto, con una mezcla de ambos muebles y diseño clásicos piezas con un estilo moderno muy Parisien.

LOCALIZACIÓN

Desde las salas de recepción se tiene una vista maravillosa a lo largo del famoso Canal de San Martín, desde donde se puede ver los barcos, los pescadores locales, patos y golondrinas. Cada fin de semana la zona está cerrada para los peatones, para que puedas disfrutar de un paseo o en bicicleta tranquilo paseo por el canal. Es una zona de moda y de la cadera, con una gran cantidad de artistas, arquitectos, diseñadores y músicos que viven en los alrededores. Usted encontrará una gran variedad de restaurantes y cafeterías en los que para disfrutar de un aperitivo parisien o cenar.
Place de la République se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie. Se trata de una red importante de metro con una selección de 5 líneas, que le llevará directamente a la mayoría de los sitios de interés de París.
La famosa y animada zona de Marais se encuentra a 10 minutos a pie.

This apartment was fabulous! The area was vibrant and off the typical tourist path, but it still allowed easy access for traveling around Paris and viewing the sites. We loved sitting on the balcony, drinking wine and people watching. Everything was well equipped with plenty of tools for cooking and such. Communication was excellent, and the host even met us in the apartment upon arrival to show us everything. Would definitely recommend!

Girls trip

Five of us went to celebrate a milestone birthday and this apartment was perfect. Plenty of room, clean and well equipped. Helene was wonderful to communicate with. The vibe in the area was perfection- lots of bakeries, cafes and cocktails- who could ask for more!! Thank you Helene- we’ll be back! And a shout out to Jean Louise for his hospitality in meeting us and helping with anything we needed!!

Great apartment in a beautiful part of Paris

Mrs Forrestier was amazing from the time the property was booked including to her welcoming us. Our plane was late so we could not meet her in person but her friend checked us in. She had a bottle of champagne and a basket of croissants and viennoiseries for us on arrival. The neighborhood is amazing. A bit busy on the weekend and lively but in a great convenient location close to the Metro station on Place de la Republique. My children were able to experience Paris by car, by subway, by bus and it was within reasonable distance to most attractions/interesting sites, including Montmartre. The apartment was a bibliophile’s dream with art and books literally covering the walls. The seating in the living room was comfortable and inspiring with a nice view of the canal Saint Martin. The kitchen was well equipped and comfortable and the washer/dryer efficient. I cannot recommend it enough.

Awesome apartment!

Great apartment with elevator, equipped kitchen, washer/dryer. Great neighborhood with local vibe, very few tourists and we felt like local Parisians. Helene was a great host. We’ll stay here again, just an awesome place.

Charming and Cozy Parisian Apartment

The apartment is charming, comfortable and well-appointed. The neighborhood is fabulous! We jogged along the river, walked to great shopping, cafes and the metro is just a few blocks away. Helene was a great host and made our first trip to Paris extremely comfortable and memorable. If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood away from the crowded tourists spots, I highly recommend Canal St. Martin and Helene’s spacious apartment.

Large space in great location

There was plenty of room for 6 adults. We loved the living room seating. Canal view was wonderful - with lots of people watching - the canal is a gathering space for the locals each night. Bathrooms are typical Paris-sized - only 1 toilet but having 2 showers was especially nice. Kitchen is fully equipped. Location of this apartment was perfect - cultural neighborhood, lots of great restaurants, bakeries, creperies, stores and grocery. Less than a 10 minute walk to Republic metro station - which has multiple routes. Definitely would recommend!

Beautiful neighborhood

Wow. This apartment was a perfect home for our stay in Paris. We loved the view of the canal. And all the wonderful people watching. The living area is very large and comfortable. Short walking to subway. Highly recommend staying here

Great location and responsive host

We loved staying right on the Canal St. Martin. There are several cafes and bakeries within just a few blocks, and the nearest metro station (Republica) is a short walk from the apt. The hostess was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay.

Gorgeous apartment in a fantastic neighborhood

This apartment was perfect for our family’s weeklong stay in Paris. The apartment was gorgeous, clean, and so comfortable. We loved all the art and books! Picture perfect Parisien apartment!

We have just returned from our amazing stay on Canal St. Martin. This lovely home has everything you could want. Huge windows that let in all the gorgeous sunlight, plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own space, but also enough seating for everyone to gather together. Great canal views and amazing restaurants right at your doorstep. There is a grocery store right across the street and bakeries 5 minutes away. To top off all the amenities, the host is beyond considerate and accommodating. She met us early at the property to show us around and make sure we had everything we needed. Knowing that she was available if we had a problem was very reassuring and put us right at ease. We are already planning for our next stay!

Home away from home

We absolutley loved this eclectic property and the host Helen sharing her family home with us. We immediately felt safe, and right at home. Plenty of space to strech out for my two teen daughters and son who's 10. Very accomidating space with plenty of furnishings art, pots, pans washer/dryer, great Wi-Fi etc... Easy access to restaurants and conviennyence store across the canal. Lots of places to walk, opening the french doors gives you a nice breeze at night. On our next trip to france we plan to book here again. We will miss this place.

FABULOUS STAY

We just returned home from a FABULOUS stay in Paris and this BEAUTIFUL apartment located in the 10th. The location was perfect - just a bit away from the hustle and bustle and 2 blocks away from the Republique train station which gets you anywhere you want to go. The apartment was larger than I expected - beautifully maintained - bright light throughout and felt like a fairy tale in Paris! All amenities you would ever need are included (full kitchen, washer dryer, etc.) The owner Helene was extremely accommodating and very responsive. Check in/out was flawless. I would definitely recommend and hope to book again on another visit.

A beautiful property in a lovely neighborhood, with great restaurants, easy access to the metro, grocery stores, bakeries and all you need to enjoy Paris. The apartment has gorgeous views and is airy and light. Helene and son in law, Max, made us feel genuinely welcome. Would absolutely return with family or friends. Une belle propriété dans un joli quartier, avec de bons restaurants, un accès facile au métro, épiceries, boulangeries et tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour profiter de Paris. L’appartement a une vue magnifique et est aéré et léger. Hélène et son beau-fils, Max, nous ont fait nous sentir vraiment les bienvenus. Reviendrait absolument avec famille ou amis.

Lovely space in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paris and a big part of it was due to this space. We had everything we needed and it had a nice mix of modern and antique decor. The layout was great for allowing each of my family members to have their own space. As far as location, it was a nice short walk to the metro and there were many wonderful cafes and bakeries in the area.

Perfect location and lovely apartment

We loved our stay at the apartment. Helene was a great host. The place was well supplied and comfortable. The location cannot be beat...it was only a few blocks from the metro and there was a grocery store across the canal, which was very convenient. On street level there is a great restaurant which was reasonably priced with great food. Overall, our stay was fantastic. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy late at night with folks that hang out along the canal. And it had only one toilet (but two showers, which was nice). But honestly, those negatives did not impact our stay. There was a group of six of us and there was a ton of room. It was a gem of an apartment with a lot of character. If in Paris again, we hope to stay here again!

Amazing Stay

We LOVED our stay here. Helene was beyond kind, welcoming and gracious. She thought of everything you can possibly need and more! The place was very beautiful, a home away from home as our family called it. It was great coming back to it after a busy day in the city. Very clean, organized, great location and place is amazing, amazing. When we get back to Paris, definitely will be our family’s place to go back to. Thank you very much Helene for welcoming us and sharing your home. My family will remember this vacation forever.

Amazing stay

Beautiful apartment with all the necessary accoutrements. Easy and prompt communication with Hélène, the owner. She was able to help me out with questions I had as well as a delivery to the apartment. There is a great caretaker, Jean Louis, on site for any needs particular to the property. Great neighborhood with lots of great restaurants nearby. Would absolutely stay here again!

Treasure in the City of Light

A lovely, cozy and spacious space with a terrific view of the canal which my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed and called home for a week. We came to Paris on a girlfriend getaway and liked that each of us had a large and serene bedroom, so no one had to sleep on a sofabed :-). The living area was ideal for lounging with sweet views. The many art pieces were a pleasure to enjoy as well! The host was in touch and was warm and welcoming. Note that because the apartment is at an intersection above a restaurant that street noise on weekends can be abundant and that the second shower is in a tight space. We got used to it and really loved our stay here and would enthusiastically recommend this VRBO property!

Exceptional place and owner

We rented this apartment in the 10th for Spring Break for our family (two adults and children ages 17, 14, and 10). First, Helene is an outstanding communicator. Very quick to reply to all questions and was extremely accommodating in allowing us to check in early on Saturday morning since our flight landed at 8:30 am. Additionally, she gave us updates on the protests going on in Paris (overall, it had only a very minor impact on our trip and that was just due to a minor transportation inconvenience one day and having to change our visit to the Louvre). The apartment was perfect for our family. Great living space and in a fantastic “residential like” neighborhood that wasn’t overrun with tourists yet had plenty of cafes and things to do. Location was also perfect as it was a less than 10 minute walk to Republique Metro station which is one of the largest in Paris. We would give the apartment our strongest endorsement and Helene was a wonderful host!

Beautiful apartment with lots of historic items

Beautiful apartment overlooking the Chanel and near restaurants and stores. Our vacation wasn't the best, weather getting there,, lost luggage....it was so nice to be able to come back to the apartment and relax Helene met us there and helped with getting settled. Definitely recommend!
