Descripción exterior-
Ubicado en el segundo piso (tercero americano) de un hermoso edificio haussmaniano de construcción tradicional (siglo XIX), este edificio de cinco pisos tiene solo un departamento por piso y está orientado al suroeste.
Ubicado cerca de los Campos Elíseos y del Arco de Triunfo, y de Faubourg St Honoré, a poca distancia y junto al famoso Museo Jacquemart André. Puede encontrar todos los transportes públicos (metro y autobús), restaurantes y una tienda de alimentos justo al otro lado de la calle (abierto hasta la medianoche).


Interior Descripción-
1840 pies cuadrados (170 m2), decoradas en una combinación de antigüedades francesas y muebles modernos. Espectaculares techos altos (3,50 m), y una gran cantidad de piezas de fundición en las paredes y techos, dos chimeneas de trabajo, grandes espejos antiguos. La mayor parte del espacio está en la fachada.

Great place for a family stay

We had three generations with us and were so happy with the spacious apartment and great location. The elevator was a plus with our luggage plus one who struggles a bit with stairs. Perfect home base for our week. J-P was very responsive when we had questions. Thank you so much!

Very beautiful and well located!

Wonderful apartment for our group, a perfect fit for Paris exploring. It was very comfortable with plenty of space to relax and cook if you wanted to. The only suggestion would be new towels and cleaning the white carpets or getting rid of them altogether. Truly a great place though in the heart of the city.

Beautiful Haussmann Apartment in Heart of Paris

My husband and I and another couple ended our three-week trip in France in this beautiful apartment. We spent five days sightseeing and were always happy to return “home” to a comfortable space. We frequented the neighboring food stores and especially liked the bread and pastries at Julien’s. We also enjoyed several afternoon walks in the nearby Parc Monceau. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Stayed in June 2023

The place was beautifully decorated and well situated in a neighborhood. It was a short walk from the metro. There were many places to eat close by and there were several grocery stores nearby. I cannot say enough good things about how comfortable the apartment was. We are a family of 6 and had room for everyone. Thank you!!

Spacious, well located and truly Parisienne

The property was very spacious with huge living and dining areas and 3 decent sized bedrooms. The kitchen is big for Paris, with everything you'd need. We really liked the location with several Metro stations serving various lines very close by. There are also several supermarkets and restaurants within a short walk, and the Champs Elysees is also close (but far enough). It's only about a 15 min walk to The Seine and the Jardin des Tuileries. Would definitely consider staying here again

Authentic Paris Apartment

This apartment made you truly feel like a local - high ceilings, beautiful art, antique furniture. A few challenges - no AC, to be expected, very noisy area with tons of street traffic (windows closed kept noise down), cleanliness was poor - towels and other items found under the bed and poor kitchen and carpet cleaning. The location was good for getting around and the owner was very responsive. All in all, we enjoyed our visit to Paris and this was a good homemade.

Christmas in Paris

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The owner is easy to deal with and the apartment was very spacious for six people. The metro station is a few minutes away and you can walk to the Champs Elysees within 10-15 minutes. The only thing we would note is that we found the apartment to be cold so bringing an extra blanket or sweater would be good for the winter months. Overall we had a wonderful Christmas vacation in Paris.

Easy way to feel part of Paris

A wonderful beautiful place to stay and share with friends. We were a group from 73-84 years old. Location was in walking distance to many sights and metro is near. If we had questions before or during visit, Jean-Pierre responded quickly. Kitchen stocked with cooking utensils, coffee, tea and spices. Living and dining room comfortable for morning and evening gatherings.. We felt part of Paris vs a hotel stay.

Perfect Paris Haussmannian Apartment

We had an incredible family stay at JP's apartment on Boulevard Haussmann. Our family of 5 (including 2 young children and a grandparent) had plenty of space to spread out and take in the wonderful natural light from the enormous windows in every room. The beds were comfortable (very important when jet-lagged!) and the kitchen, living and dining rooms were spacious. The location is convenient, though the street below could be a bit busy - a white noise machine drowns out any noises (and also helps with the jet lag!). We felt like Parisians living in this apartment, which is the highest compliment I can offer - we would definitely stay again if we were to return to Paris! Thank you to JP and Beatrix for making our stay seamless, for fantastic communication, and for hosting us in your home!

Amazing location in a Wonderful City!

This flat had everything we could ask for - starting for an amazing location on Haussmann in the heart of the 8th. Convenient stores and cafes just blocks away, major destinations not much further. We walked everywhere we needed to go, but there was a parking garage right around the corner if you are renting a car. The flat was large - a rare, real 3BR flat with separate study, dining room and living room. It was bright, airy and well-appointed - combining classic Parisian features with modern conveniences (DW, Lift, W/D, MW). We were met by Beatrix who walked us through the unit and we were in regular correspondence with Jean Pierre - who was timely and helpful in all of his responses. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

Perfect for our large family!!!

What a wonderful way to stay in Paris. The apartment is so relaxing with good size rooms, lovely art throughout, beautifully furnished and beautiful boulevard views with lots of light. We are a family of parents with four adult children. All had plenty of room with no stepping on one another. The kitchen is modern and perfect for our meal preparation with two refrigerators. The washer and dryer were easy to use and so convenient. The spacious den and dining room were perfect for entertaining. And the apartment is centrally located so we easily walked to the Champs-Elysees and shopped at nearby markets. And the lift made transport of luggage to the second floor a breeze! Thank you for our lovely stay.

Wonderful apartment in the 8th

We took our parents and sister to Paris for Christmas and had a wonderful stay in chez Faraut. Beatrix met us on our first day and was very informative showing how everything worked. This is a very large apartment that felt spacious for the five of us living there for a week. The high ceilings, beautifully ornate crown molding, and multiple fireplaces speak of La Belle Époque and Baron Haussmann, and the modern kitchen was much larger than any place else I've stayed in the city. We cooked Christmas Eve and Christmas day meals and set a beautiful table in the formal dining room. The bedrooms had large closets were decorated with beautiful draperies and comfortable linens--the perfect place to sleep peacefully after long days of sightseeing. As for the location, we enjoyed being so close to the lively Christmas lights of the Champs Elysées for nighttime strolls, and the quiet Parc Monceau for early morning jogging. A few steps away is Musée Jacquemart-André --a must see (and open on Christmas day). All in all this is a wonderful apartment in a great location and receives my highest recommendation.

Wonderful apartment, excellent location

Like other previous reviews, we agree the property did not disappoint! The location is ideal and we walked straight to the Arc upon arrival. We visited both grocery stores, found everything we needed and one night cooked a delicious family dinner complete with an amazing Bordeaux from the store. We mostly used Ubers but loved hearing from the drivers about what we were seeing (like passing the President's residence!). Jean-Pierre is highly responsive (especially so to my many pre-arrival questions). Here are a few more specifics in case they're important to you... There are two full-sized, powerful hairdryers in the primary (and beautifully renovated) bathroom so no need to bring your own; besides the main shower, there is a 2nd shower and sink which we hadn't realized -- that became our "teen" bathroom; the shower water pressure is fantastic; the utensils are real silver (!); the floors are a bit squeaky for light sleepers but it was nothing a white noise app on our phone didn't cover (and we used the fans found in each room, too). The heating / cooling did adjust on its own very well and the temperature was very comfortable for us while we were there. The wi-fi was spotty in the furthest two bedrooms (where our teens slept), but it was a blessing in disguise since they spent most of the vacation with us as a family in the living room since the connection was best there. (Perhaps creative genius on Jean-Pierre's part?) The only other thing I would add is we flew from the States with a child who was seemed to be getting sick, and we were a little unsure what we'd do if we needed medical care when we landed. Jean-Pierre, it might be helpful if you added a posting somewhere of emergency numbers to call for medical attention (or fire, police), how to call an ambulance, etc. There are pharmacies (with lit green crosses) if needed on nearly every corner it seemed. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Jean-Pierre! The apartment truly is as grand as the photos -- a true gem!

Short stay at a lovely apartment

We were a group of four women, two of whom were visiting Paris for the first time. The apartment is in a great location—near the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees. It is large with plenty of space for all of us and we didn’t even use all of it! We hung out in the living room and ate in the kitchen rather than the elegant dining room. The bedrooms are large and although the building is located at the corner of a busy intersection, it was quiet at night. Two and a half bathrooms were plenty for this group of women. The information provided by Jean-Pierre was very useful (we printed out copies for each of us) and he quickly replied to messages we sent asking questions before our trip. Once we arrived, the orientation by Beatrix was very useful. I would definitely stay there again with a group of four to six people.
