Perfect Get-a-way

Perfect location for us! Close to beach, but away from the hustle and bustle. It had a great yard for our little dog and the cottage had everything we needed!

Really good stay. Only complaint is the furniture in front of TV. Couch/recliner/end table shelving could be replaced with a fulllsize couch w/recliner built in. Other than that, no complaints.

Great little place

Great little cottage. Had everything we needed and the hosts were very accommodating. The only complaint is the spring mattress made sleeping a little bit of a challenge but we’re spoilt to a temperpedic. That’s my only complaint. They literally thought of everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful location

This property in Bon Secur, Alabama was the perfect place for my husband and I to still be close to Gulf Shores, but be completely away from all of the noise and traffic and tourists. Our little cottage was just adorable, and had everything that we could possibly want provided in it. When we wanted the beach, we could drive 10 to 15 minutes and be in Gulf Shores. We actually enjoyed Pirates Cove MUCH better, a MUCH less crowded beach, family and pet friendly, with lots of shade. Tin Top restaurant, about a mile down the street was absolutely wonderful! When we go back to vacation in the Gulf Shores area, we will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful vacation

The property owner went beyond to help us with all of our needs. The property was immaculate. We brought our Standard Poodle with us. The grounds were perfect to walk our dog. If anything the cottage was a bit small, but we adjusted and will book again.

Vacation Getaway

Property was absolutely perfect for what we wanted on our vacation. Cottage had everything we needed to relax and enjoy and was very clean. Phil,the owner, had great communication and even had a 3-ring binder for areas of interest and information during our stay. Close to seafood outlets (Billy’s and Aquila) for fresh seafood. We practically went everyday for our fishing trips. Definitely will stay again and recommend to others!

Quiet cottage for relaxing

This cottage was a perfect place to stay for two people looking to relax. Quiet neighborhood. Wooded and peaceful. The beach was only twenty minutes away. Plus there is a dock to fish from that is only a one minute drive away. When we arrived the owner had placed a cart to use to help for unloading our luggage. That was a nice touch and helped tremendously. They also have a beach umbrella and chairs available. We grilled steaks with the grill and charcoal they provided. The service and communication was top notch. We would definitely stay again.

Yearly beach trip

We loved it! Very cozy for two people. The cottage was super clean! Mr. Phil was very nice and accommodating. The tv wasn't working and he didn't stop til he got it fixed. We fished off the docks, they were nice even though we didn't catch anything. Lol! Literally 10-15 mins from EVERYTHING including beaches. The only problem we had was the bed. We have a king size at home so sleeping on a full size bed was not fun, but no fault of Mr. Phil. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property. Thank you Mr. Phil!

Wonderful vacation

The cottage made our vacation. It was so cute and comfortable. Ithad everything we needed. I will definitely stay there again if we go back to Gulf Shore. Phil was a great host!

Absolutely perfect!

This is a great property; perfect for my pups and I. Peaceful setting yet close to the action in Foley and Gulf Shores. Phil is a phenomenal host. Highly recommend. My second stay and I plan on more in the future!

Lovely cottage for two

Away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores but close enough to go for a day at the beach. We loved the seafood restaurant less than a mile away. It was also very close to fresh seafood markets on the river. The owner was welcoming and kind as well.

Great Place

In addition to the cottage just down the road you have access to a very nice dock and crab traps to use. The owner is a very nice guy and everyone around the area are just plain nice people

Piece of Heaven

Phil is awesome!! He is so easy to work with! One thing for sure, he keeps his cottages immaculate. If you want a quaint and clean place to stay this is it. It has everything you need, great location and the river is just around the corner if you want to fish. This was our second stay and l am working on the third stay in November. If we did not have several doctors appointments in November we would stay the whole month. This place is truly a piece of Heaven.
