Disfrute de su café matutino o de una cena al aire libre en los amplios porches envolventes de esta casa luminosa y fresca, completamente renovada, cerca del Malecón de Esperanza.

Con una moderna cocina gourmet totalmente equipada con encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, una estufa de gas, lavaplatos, barra de comedor y techos altos con ventiladores en cada habitación, Casa de Pepito fue diseñada para aprovechar al máximo las brisas imperantes. Duerma profundamente en la habitación Coqui con cama king, vestidor y baño privado, o en la cama queen de la habitación Tortuga con baño privado, todas equipadas con sábanas de algodón puro y toallas de algodón grueso. Mientras que los vientos alisios mantienen la casa fresca la mayoría de los días, las habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado para dormir cómodamente en las noches más cálidas.

A pocos pasos encontrará numerosos restaurantes, tiendas, bares y locales de ocio nocturno, una pequeña tienda de comestibles y una panadería local, así como alquileres de deportes acuáticos y la mundialmente famosa playa de Sun Bay. We enjoyed our stay here. The host was very accommodating. The location is nice, the house was clean, the AC worked great. We picked some star fruits from the tree in the front yard, they are actually good fresh, unlike the ones we get in the grocery stores where we live. Walking to the restaurants and bars on the malecon is very close. We would stay here again for sure.

Fantastic stay! House was as advertised. Great a/c's in the bedrooms and plenty of fans in the kitchen/living room to keep things cool. Easy to park the rental car.Literally a 7-10 minute walk (in flip flops) to a small grocery store that had almost everything we needed at any given time.Walking distance to two beaches, and also to where most of the tours meet up (snorkeling and bio-bay tours), as well as restaurants. Great hosts! Non-obtrusive but super responsive if we ever needed anything. We look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful place in wonderful Vieques

Could not have asked for more! Had wonderful help from Linda on arrival as we landed late and she helped arrange for picking up our rental car. The house was spectacularly clean and comfortable. The location is excellent and the time flew by.

Great proximity to main strip and beach

The proximity to the beach and main strip is fantastic but the neighborhood was a bit different than expected with some abandoned houses and a port-a-potty place next door. We were there during an island-wide blackout and were a little freaked out for a bit with only one working flashlight but it only lasted 24 hours. The owner provided a lot of helpful information prior to our trip especially with grocery details. The house was clean and well-equipped for the most part—plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, beach supplies including snorkeling gear. Beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. People weren’t kidding about the roosters—you may want a white noise machine if you’re a light sleeper. This isn’t specific to this property—you hear them all over town!

A great stay in Esperanza!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa de Pepito! The space was very clean and comfortable for the two of us. It was great being walking distance to all of the places we visited in Esperanza, plus there was a nice driveway for our rental car (for visiting other parts of the island). Communication beforehand was a breeze too — Linda even got us a lovely gift for our honeymoon!The only detractor for us was the neighbor’s dogs: they have three large dogs that live outside and they bark all the time, including all hours of the night. I am only including that note in case you are a light sleeper, in which case I would suggest ear plugs. Thank you Catherine and Linda for the great stay. We will be back again soon!

Lovely getaway

Comfortable home within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and beach of Esperanza. Property manager was a lifesaver when our flight was delayed, causing us to miss the ferry and our car. Overall lovely place from which to explore Vieques.

Great spot in Esperanza

This is a perfect house for two couples. We loved being within walking distance of the beach and restaurants in Esperanza - it’s a great location for exploring the island. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and we loved sitting out on the porch. We had a great stay.

Best vacation ever.

We loved this property and loved the island. We will definitely stay here again. The property manager, Linda, could not have been nicer or more helpful. The house has everything you need and is close to beach and restaurants. We rate our stay a 10 out of 10. LOVED EVERY MINUTE!!

Wonderful home away from home near the Malecon!!!

My sister, niece and I took a girls trip and we could not have imagined a better place today. Clean, cute and comfortable. The home is nice and airy with big bedrooms and bathrooms and an open kitchen/living room area for socializing. We loved sitting on the porch watching the horses and roosters. The location is 10 out of 10…. close to a market and a quick and safe walk to the Malecon. We plan to go back and will definitely stay here again. The owner and property manager were informative, friendly and responsive. If you want a no stress experience, we recommend you stay here! Thank you for an awesome week.

We had a great time at the island. It was nice being just up the road from the main restaurant area but not so close we could hear it at night. We appreciated the fans/a/c for comfort but also to try and block out the roosters that roam and make noise all night. We loved the beach stuff we could use and enjoyed the beautiful beaches each day. Catherine was so helpful for any help we needed!

Close to Esparanza

Convenient location. Short walk to town. Very large and well appointed. Great for 2 couples. Do not recommend for people who want quiet. Roosters are loud all morning and neighbors dogs bark quite a bit. We are not bothered by these things, so we had a fantastic stay enjoying all the beautiful scenery of Vieques..

Small island getaway

The house layout was perfect for two couples. Comfortable living area and kitchen as well as bedrooms. There was always an ocean breeze which enabled us to sit out on the porch whenever we wanted to. We walked to the Malecón restaurants at night. House manager was very attentive to solving a few issues we needed help with.

This property was beyond our expectations! Location was a block from a grocery and two blocks from the boardwalk. The property had beach towels, chairs and snorkel gear and all of the necessities. The property manager was there upon arrival and provided excellent information about the island and the rental. If in Vieques again, I would 110% rent again.

Perfect getaway home!

A perfect location with all the necessary amenities and super clean!! I appreciated all the extra bathroom towels too! The space was ideal for traveling with our two kids, having two full bathrooms was ideal. The kitchen was perfectly sized and we were able to cook Christmas dinner without a problem. There are helpful notes all over the house - like for fan and light switches, and the quirkiness of the refrigerator. So great to have access to laundry and being external to the house meant not having to hear the noise of the machines. Being around the corner from Lydia’s was a godsend! I was in there picking up odds and ends regularly. And while easy enough to walk everywhere in Esperanza, we did rent a car so the off street parking was also hugely appreciated. One note to first time travelers to Vieques - roosters crow non-stop all day and wild horses are everywhere including sometimes jumping over the fence into the yard. I successfully shooed them away twice but keeping the gate closed is essential to discouraging them. The external photo makes it look like there are a lot of stairs to get to the first floor but it was just a regular stair stoop which was a relief! Catherine is quick to respond and had tons of helpful info for us prior to arrival. Linda (property manager) was great with communication and helpful tips on restaurants and beaches. We could not have had a better stay! I waited too long for a return trip to Vieques and can’t wait to stay here again!

Much Needed R&R

Great property close to restaurants/bars/beaches. We rented a golf cart to explore the other side of the island also, perfect for what we wanted to do. Communication with the property manager and owner were great. Would definitely recommend- Vieques is beautiful!!

This home is centrally located in Esperanza, the smaller Vieques town. Large, clean front lawn leads into a well appointed and supplied 2 bedroom, 2 bath home. All good! Location, manager, supplies all get a 5 star rating. Loved my stay and will return again. Richard S.

Very clean & spacious! Short distance to restaurants & the ⛱ beach!

The house is clean ,spacious & has plenty of necessities available that you may have forgotten to pack like sunblock. Restaurants, bars & the beach are literally 3mins to reach,so close. Being on the south side of the island is the place to be! The house has a washer & dryer so it was convenient to keep clothes clean. The manager was very friendly & made sure we had a comfortable stay. Definitely will be booking this one again! Highly recommend!

Good but could be great

A really nice place in a great location. A quiet neighborhood (except for roosters), with just a short walk to restaurants and convenient store. The beds were comfy and the porch was great for meals. However communication with the owner was slow and there were several small issues. The dishwasher was locked and the instructions on its door didn't work. Both bedside lamps wouldn't turn on. There was some peeling paint on the ceiling and a pile of rusting railing in the front yard. These are all minor things probably the result of an absentee owner. We would still recommend this property for a great vacation.
