Family time, 5 minute walk from main walkway to restaurants and beach!

We consider our location to be perfect access for a Vieques visit. Esperanza has a variety of restaurants, water sports and bio-bay tours available right on the "malecón". The house is located a short, 5 minute walk from that main walkway and the beach. Also, there is a convenient store and a bakery less than a block from our location.

The Coralina House is one of the few child-friendly spaces you will find in Vieques. As parents of two small children, we wanted to avoid all the unnecessary stress that we usually encounter when we travel. We have electrical plugs on all low sockets, step stools are available, a potty seat, play pen and high chair are all provided as well. A side garden has swings, a trapeze bar, a sandbox and a play house with beach friendly toys for children's entertainment.

Great family getaway

The property was just as advertised- clean, close to many restaurants, and the hosts were very responsive. It was a great getaway that was great for any ages- including our young son. Would highly recommend!

Best time ever!

We stayed only for 2 short nights in this rental and wish it could have been longer. The location was perfect and the house was pristine and perfect for our family of 4. Despite losing power on our last night, we loved everything about this house and the island. We will be back! And we saw 3 iguanas in the backyard!

Wonderful Family Getaway

My 4 yo son and I stayed at Alicia’s house this past week. I cannot say enough good things about the process and the property. We will definitely be returning. As soon as I booked the house, Alicia sent me a detailed email filled with local Vieques recommendations and insiders knowledge for making our trip easy and stress free. The check in/check out process was as easy as can be (no crazy check out rules) and her communication throughout our stay was stellar. It was wonderful to stay at a home that not only accepts children but welcomes them. It is well stocked with kids toys, books, games. Beach chairs, cooler, and beach towels. There is a small swing set/slide in the back yard. The only trouble we had is once my son realized how much fun the house was he didn’t want to leave! For the adults - the house was spotless, the kitchen was well stocked with most anything you would need, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable for a rental! I highly recommend Alicia’s home. My son is already asking about our next trip there.

Relaxing spring break vacation

The house was clean, well-appointed and recently updated. It is an easy walk into Esperanza for dining or meeting up with tours. Alicia has thought of everything to make the house functional. There is a showering off area by the front porch to wash off sand and clotheslines out back to dry off towels and swimsuits. The porch is nice to have morning coffee and watch the sunrise. We enjoyed snorkeling at Mosquito Pier and Punta Arenas. Caracas beach has great sand for sunbathing and swimming. Play Negra Fine Foods has gourmet and affordable food for lunch or early dinner. Playa El Cocal is great for sunset walks. Most of the time it seemed like we had our own private beaches. We really enjoyed this trip and would definitely recommend Alicia's house in particular.

Wonderful house within walking distance to everything you need in Esperanza

Clean, comfortable house within walking distance of a small grocery store, the malecon, beaches, restaurants, bars and tour meeting spots. The house is well stocked for cooking needs. It was a great place for us to enjoy our stay on Vieques. I would definitely book again.

Amazing Stay

We were on Vieques and stayed at this property for 10 days. It was our second long stay here. The house is perfect. Two large bedrooms with nice baths, plenty of storage, and a well appointed kitchen. The owner is great and very responsive to communications. And the best part is the location. East walking distance to the Malecon, restaurants, and bars! We come to Vieques several times a year and would love to stay at this house again.

Excellent!!

We loved our time in Vieques, and this house was perfect for our family of five. Conveniently located yet off the main drag. I’d recommend having a rental vehicle on the island and this unit is great because it has a gate and parking spot. Id certainly stay here again!

What a Great Place and Host!

I cannot say enough about Alicia as a host. Very helpful and communicative. The house has received numerous updates and was very comfortable. Everything you go to Vieques for was so close—-beaches, food, fun! My family of 5 enjoyed the updated interior, security of the gated entry, and proximity to everything.

This was an amazing spacious property right in the heart of Esperanza, but still close enough to walk to the grocery store and restaurants on the main street. House is recently renovated has everything you can ask for. Perfect for families with little ones as there is a backyard in the back with a small playground. Good communication with host. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Vieques.

Elegant and secluded

We easily parked our rental Jeep inside the gates, right outside the door into the house, and walked into a very well designed and immaculate home. Great air conditioning with controls in each room, a big backyard with a canopy and chairs, a very comfortable, screened-in front porch with chairs. The house is very quiet, up on a hill, away from the relative chaos of the town, but about a five-minute walk to the malecon/boardwalk area with the restaurants. We shopped at the grocery stores up in Isabel II and cooked meals in the kitchen that had everything we needed. Two bathrooms very clean with hot water, very comfortable beds, we had no complaints. Alicia was very communicative. An amazing place. I highly reccomend this VRBO! ❤️

What a Find!

My husband and I booked this trip last minute and we were unsure of what we would find for housing. This property was more than we ever could have asked for. It is spacious, nicely decorated, well appointed, and in a great location. You could easily walk to the Malecon, the beach, restaurants, bars, and a small grocery. The owner was super responsive and went above and beyond making sure our needs were met. We will be back!

Great spot in Vieques!!

I absolutely loved our stay in Vieques. What a wonderful island, with at least a dozen AMAZING beaches!! I didn't know you could find such peaceful, beautiful, and untouched beaches anywhere this close to the US. Highly recommend!! The house and host are great! Close to the "happening" part of the island (it's a pretty sleepy, quiet town, that more or less shuts down at 8:30p). Walked to dinner and our bioluminescent tour. Great for a family!!

Great location

Beautiful property that was clean and spacious, and it had all the necessary accommodations that a family needed to enjoy Vieques. In addition, the location was perfect as a home base to explore the island.

Great place in Esperanza

The home was in walking distance from all the shops, restaurants and tour pick-ups. The property owner kept in touch leading up to our stay and made sure we were taken care of upon arrival. Very clean with everything we needed, except laundry. The home was very clean, had adequate A/C, and a huge back yard with hammock and playset. We were not sure about the check procedures. So we tried to put all dirty laundry in one bathroom, took out trash and put the key back in the lock box. We would stay again, the place was fantastic.

Beautiful Property & Good Location

The house was very nice, all amenities were there. The location was nice and easy to get around. Unfortunately during our stay there was a lot of Seaweed on the south shores so we could not visit any of the beaches on the south side, but the drive to the north side, even in golf carts, was easy and didn't take too long so the location was great to tour all over the island. The house if fully air conditioned, which was a great surprise, and appears the house was somewhat newly renovated. The area was in a residential area. I would say you likely would probably drive to the beachfront from the home, however it is doable to walk but is more that 5 minutes if walking and up a hill to return so if you have difficulties walking expect to drive but it is literally just down the street. The home is set up for children too, our group had 16 year olds but younger would be fine as well. Be advised, the rate listed is only for 6 people so there is the additional guest fee for over 6 guests even though it can accommodate up to 8. There is no laundry access at the house and the only laundry facility we were told was on the north shore side. The town of Esperanza was small but nice, just note that everything closes early so make sure to check closing times for groceries and shops. (yes, golf carts are perfectly fine to travel almost everywhere, some back roads may be a bit too rough, lots of potholes on the beach roads, but we had no issues getting around everywhere we wanted.)
