Escape to paradise at one of the newest available properties in North Litchfield. Situated just minutes from public beach access, tucked in a serene family friendly neighborhood - Surf Lodge offers 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms ideal for families and groups sleeping 18! With close proximity to 40+ nearby golf courses, the property has become a favorite for golf trips in the off season. The home is beautifully decorated with high end furnishings inspired from world travels and provides all the amenities one expects from a 5 star property. Swim in the private pool, play ping pong in the game room, cook in the loaded chef's kitchen, or just relax - Surf Lodge has it all.

We’ve thought of all the details so you don’t have to - from complimentary beach chairs, wagon and umbrella to infant necessities like a pack n play, high chair, and kids utensils. Surf Lodge is everyone’s newest favorite in the neighborhood.

**Summer season books 7 night minimum, Saturday to Saturday. Outside of summer and holidays, we allow for 3 night minimum stays with dynamic pricing.

**We included a picture of public beach access points of which there are several very close by. The one we use most often while walking is a 5 minute walk with easy and flat access (no boardwalk). The closest access with parking for golf carts and cars is about a 2 minute drive. We provide recommendations for local golf cart rental companies that will drop off and pick up!

Pros: We had a wonderful time at this house which was very well equipped. The wet bar with built in ice maker was a life saver for our group. Plenty of space and amenities for our large group! We rented one golf cart to assist with getting our crew to the beach (made a few trips) but if not, it was a 5 min walk to beach and very doable. If we venture back to PI, we would stay here again.Hosts were excellent and great with communication. They accommodated a request upon our arrival. Later in the week we had a slight issue and they rectified it immediately.Con: The 3rd floor balcony was not safe at all and couldn’t use - floor rotted thru with big holes. Railing not secured. Not a huge loss tho and we would still return to this house.

Wonderful stay at Surf Lodge

We have been perusing various locales and VRBO homes for the last several years and have not come across a home as lovely, spacious and welcoming as Surf Lodge. From the biggest sectional couch in the great room, to excellent bedroom lodging (seemingly soundproof!), to a "game den" for late night card playing, stocked kitchen (2 sinks), sink and wine fridge at separate bar area, to shaded decks and poolside seating, it was a dream. Excellent communication with our hosts Elizabeth and Ian. This home is amazing.

Beautiful house in a great location!

Perfect spot for our multi-generational trip! Kitchen was very well equipped and easy for several people to use at once. We loved the pool and the pool floats and appreciated having the beach chairs and toys to use.

Memorable Family Beach Trip

Our stay at The Surf Lodge was absolutely fantastic and truly exceeded our expectations! As regulars to Surfside Beach, we took a chance on The Surf Lodge after finding it on VRBO, and we're so glad we did. Its location proved ideal, offering a quick drive to Murrells Inlet and convenient access to all of the shops and dining options Pawleys Island has to offer.The neighborhood itself was a peaceful, with multiple, easily accessible pathways to the beach. A definite highlight was renting a golf cart, a recommendation from the hosts that proved invaluable. It was perfect for effortlessly transporting everyone to and from the beach, providing endless fun for the kids with leisurely rides, and even allowed us to easily visit the nearby lake for some memorable sightings of turtles and even an alligator!The house itself is truly a gem – beautifully decorated with an abundance of space for our entire group. The house had great amenities ranging from essential beach chairs and accessories to a fun assortment of pool floats, a convenient ice maker, and a fully stocked kitchen.We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our week-long trip to The Surf Lodge and would recommend to friends traveling to the area.

Annual Family Retreat

We have been coming to Pawleys for about 15 years and have stayed in many different locations, but we enjoyed our stay at the Surf Lodge this summer! The pool was great and we enjoyed the 2nd floor living spaces and outdoor areas. There are plenty of activities to enjoy at the house and the beach is just a pleasant walk to the large public access ramp.

We were extremely happy with the way Surf Lodge met our expectations to house 12 family members for a week. All our adult children and grandchildren said we have to rent this house again! The house is spacious with many spaces where you can be all together or find nooks of private space on decks, pieces, patio and front courtyard. The pool area was wonderful and beautifully landscaped. We found that renting a 6 person golf cart was the perfect way to get the younger kids and we grandparents down to the beach access. The house has everything you could need for a beach stay from pool toys to beach chairs and umbrellas and beach buckets. The house provided a huge basket of towels to use at the pool and we so appreciated them! (We made sure they were all washed and folded and ready for the next renters). The kitchen having two full sinks a made preparing meals and cleaning up delightful. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed from plates and silverware to serving bowls and kitchen utensils. We were glad we brought extra kitchen towels as we had a big group to clean up after and the two dish towels and dishcloths provided would have been inadequate for us. The only frustration was that the oven was very difficult to operate. It would have helped to have had instructions as the key pad on the oven was very difficult to read and figure out. But never fear, multiple adults finally figured it out!We would absolutely recommend Surf Lodge to future inquirers.

Took a group of 11 golfers here. Super convenient for Pawleys area courses. Used the outside area mostly. Its great! Highly recommend.

Fantastic Stay

We stayed with a group of 12 for a golf trip and loved everything about the house. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and the amenities were perfect for a long weekend. The owners were extremely responsive and supportive throughout our stay. Will definitely be coming back!

Pawley’s Golf Trip

Please don’t read this review because I’d like this house to be available for my next trip! House is spectacular. Dealing with owners was convenient and efficient. They were super informative and accommodating. House is supremely located for restaurants and golf courses. Plenty of bedrooms to spread out and be comfortable. Multiple locations to lounge, relax, and play games. Really just a perfect spot to enjoy everything that the Pawley’s/Litchfield area has to offer. Game room garage is a nice touch and the decking and pool are super relaxing. Can’t wait to run it back!

The Surf Lodge is located in North Litchfield which is convenient to everything....literally. The neighborhood is laid back and family friendly. You can walk to the beach in about 5 minutes or take a short 3 minute golf cart / car ride to beach access with parking! Being close to the beach doesn't mean sacrificing amenities....we are super close to grocery stores, restaurants, bars, shops, etc. Want to take a walk / bike ride not on the beach? Hop on the Waccamaw Neck Bikeway (almost 20 miles of greenway) and explore neighboring Huntington Beach State park, Murrel's Inlet, etc. We may be biased but we think this is really the perfect beach location.

Surf Lodge offers 7 (yes 7) bedrooms including a bunk room that sleeps 6! The Lodge offers a ton of space to spread out - allowing you to be close with loved ones when you want, but have space when you need it! There is a den upstairs and downstairs both with new 60" and 70" Roku Smart TVs. There is a massive chef kitchen with dual sinks, all the basic necessities and plenty of extras that come in handy for large meals. The Lodge offers a backyard retreat with private pool and lush, mature landscaping. There is plenty of seating across the patio, and multiple decks (including a roof top sundeck). The house is recently updated - new paint, new carpet, new TVs in every BR, new mattresses, new furnishings, etc...Get all the comforts of a large beach home with the feel of a boutique hotel. Surf Lodge Pawleys is truly unique for the area.
