Ubicado en el barrio de Flower Streets y en la zona de la aldea de Corona del Mar. A 15 minutos del aeropuerto John Wayne, a 45 minutos de Los Ángeles, pero un mundo en sí mismo.
Las hermosas playas de Big Corona y Little Corona están a solo 10 minutos a pie, ya que esta propiedad se encuentra en el Ocean Side de la Rte 1 (Pacific Coast Highway). También a poca distancia se encuentran una tienda de comestibles, una sala de cine, restaurantes, bares y tiendas.
El pueblo de Corona del Mar está a poca distancia de Laguna Beach, Crystal Cove y Newport Coast, con San Diego a poco más de una hora al sur.

We really enjoyed this property and its location. The walkability is excellent! The house has lovely outdoor spaces, comfortable beds, a nice layout and beach charm. It is also the BEST stocked VRBO property we have ever stayed at. It could use some updates so don't go in expecting a new house. It feels like home. Our family would definitely stay here again. The one complaint is that there is no "welcome binder" and management did not respond when I asked about check-out instructions.

Highly Recommend this Beach Bungalow
My sister and I enjoyed the place very much. We were working and it was a wonderful relaxing house to return to after a stressful day and have a glass of wine on the comfortable front or back patio. Wonderful location..walked to restaurants and shops. Easy walk to the beach. Quiet, beautiful neighborhood. The place was stocked with everything we needed…we especially liked the comfortable beds. If we had any questions John got right back to us. We highly recommend for your vacation getaway.

One of the best stays ever!
Everything worked, was easy to get in touch, kitchen was nicely furnished. Neds were SUPER comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Back to cool weather!
My wife and two dogs travelled across the desert (Scottsdale) to escape the record heat and enjoyed Corona del Mar's cool July weather. House was great again ( we stayed for a month last year) and the neighborhood was lovely.

I would give this a hard pass
I was told that there would be keys in the mailbox on arrival but there was nothing there. I had to knock on neighbors doors in hopes of finding the phone number for the owner.
This house is NOT clean. Carpet are filthy, black dust inside the cabinets, four robes had "skid marks" on the inside of the robe at the seat, linen wasn't changed in the 2nd bedroom, mold on the outside rug and laundry basket, The inside of the cabinets have not been addressed in some time and most of the half used bottles were pretty dirty. The fire alarm and extinguisher are on the inside of the cabinets where they do no good. In the bathroom I found an open tube of toothpaste and open bottles of vitamin E, contact lens solution, nail polish remover, a dirty razor and baby oil.
There is no instuction on the 5 remotes to work the TV, the remote for the fireplace was so corroded it didn't work.
The water nice and hot everywhere except in the 2nd bathroom with the soaking tub, wicker chairs need replacing, no towel rack in the 2nd bath and really poor lighting making it impossible to read. The latch on the dryer broke and was not addressed after I called. One week later it still isn't fixed and I used packing tape to keep it shut.
I asked for compensation but this was not addressed either. I wouldn't stay there again or recommend it to anyone I wanted to stay friends with.

Thanks for your feedback Pam. We will try to make our instructions binder clearer, and do apologize for the mixup leading to your delayed receipt of check-in codes. We offered a complimentary mid-stay cleaning to help make up for it, though did not hear back for scheduling until over 3 weeks later. Robes from the owner's closet with a coffee stain, slight wear on outdoor furniture, a scuff inside the cabinet where the extinguisher is (meant to be taken out if needed), and dust on the water dispenser are unfortunately not grounds for refund. They are items which could have been, and were, addressed once we were notified. When staying at rentals, please reach out sooner rather than asking for compensation at the end of your stay

EXCELLENT LOCATION / OWNER WAS FANTASTIC!
I RENTED THIS HOME FOR ITS PROXIMITY TO A HOME THAT I HAD JUST PURCHASED NEARBY AND WAS RENOVATING. AS ALWAYS, CONSTRUCTION DELAYS RESULTED IN ME NEEDING TO EXTEND MY RENTAL. JOHN, THE OWNER, WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ACCOMMODATE MY REQUEST, RESULTING IN MY DAUGHTER AND I NOT HAVING TO MOVE THREE TIMES IN 4 MONTHS! THE LOCATION AND LAYOUT OF THIS HOME IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BEAT! ONE BLOCK TO PCH/CDM AND THREE BLOCKS TO THE OCEAN! THE HOUSE HAS EVERY AMENITY AND IS WALKING DISTANCE TO GROCERY STORE/RITE AID/RESTAURANTS... LITERALLY ANYTHING YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED DURING YOUR VACATION STAY!

Paradise in Corona Del Mar
Our extended stay in this gem of a beach house was nothing short of wonderful! The front doors that fully open to create an indoor/outdoor space with the deck was one of our favorite places to hang out. There are many amazing restaurants a short walk away and we ran into/talked with a famous NBA star across the street in the Port restaurant one evening. John is a pleasure to work with and is the consummate host. Everything in the house was in great shape and very well stocked, The books and games that are provided were also a big hit with the family and the beach is a short walk away going over the scenic Goldenrod foot bridge. I highly recommend a stay here, it won't disappoint!

Jewel in the Crown
This little gem of a place in Corona del Mar comes as advertised. 2 minute walk to great shopping and restaurants, 5 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute stroll to a large nearby park -- yet with all the intimacy of a small neighborhood. Home is roomy for two people -- 4 at max. Large front porch is ideal for relaxing and watching the world walk by. Doors open wide from the porch to the interior to circulate fresh air and give the interior a more expansive feel. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Gas barbecue is great if you prefer to cook outdoors. Plenty of linens, drawer space, etc. Full entertainment system, including a wide selection of quality DVDs. And, if books are more to your liking, you'll find a wide number of interesting titles. Host is gracious, helpful and fully responsive to issues and/or questions if they arise. In short, easy to stay and easy to like. Fully satisfied with our visit and would definitely rent here again when we next return.

Delightful Beach Bungalow
We stayed in John's fun bungalow to celebrate my daughter's PhD. graduation from UC Irvine. House was great -- all amenities incl. fully equipped kitchen; BBQ; outdoor gas fireplace (we used it every night); beach buggy complete with chairs, umbrella and games. We walked to the beach; biked all over; hit the farmers market at PCH and Marquerite; slept 5 comfortably; ate out (endless choices) and ate in. Wish we'd found the house before. We'll come back to Corona del Mar. Thanks John.

Joanna, What a delightful review. But now I'm jealous of the great times you had :-) UCI is just "up the hill", and this is a great town for "car-free" living as you can walk to the beach, farmer's markets, and great shops and restaurants in the village. The home is a quick cab ride from John Wayne Airport, and the bikes are good for exploring the coast.

wow, was fantastic!
John (the owner) was very helpful and responsive. His place worked out perfectly for our family of 5 (3 adult aged kids). Easily walkable to the beach. Nicely appointed unit with all we needed. We really enjoyed the firepit on the front deck! We plan to come back.

Great Location

Great location! Great home!
We really enjoyed staying in this home! The location is perfect - walk to the beach, walk to restaurants, walk to shopping. The deck and fire pit are a fabulous gathering place every evening! Kitchen and baths are well appointed - and the full size washer and dryer a great bonus! We would love to stay here again!

Exceptional!
My family and I had the fortune of stumbling onto this vacation rental thanks to a work conference at the neighboring Newport Center. But it was thanks to this vacation rental that my work trip felt like a vacation! The house is tastefully decorated, and has every amenity you could think of... Jets in the oversized tub in one of the TWO bathrooms, huge patio with blankets and gas firepit (perfect for sipping a post-sunset cocktail while taking in the ocean breeze!), a fully-equipped kitchen and dining room. There are even board games and classic movies in the cupboards if you are so inclined. The other huge draw of this place is its proximity to everything. Go out, stay in, take a picnic to the beach. All can be done on foot. A former post claimed a 13 minute walk to the beach, but it's only that long if you stop to look at all the beautiful houses and landscapes along the way (which you will)! All in all, I can't say enough good things about this place. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

Great location, cozy!
We rented for 3 nights and we loved the location. It is nicely furnished, modern, comfortable and clean!
The walk to the beach is short and we never had to drive to the store as all our shopping was within walking distance.
The neighborhood is cute and quiet and we felt very safe there.
The owner, John, was very accommodating. We'd love to rent from him again!

Great House, Great Location
This CDM rental was perfect! My husband, lab and I spent a week here and loved it. The house was updated, with modern kitchen, comfy family/TV room, & master bed. House came with all necessities - coffee maker, wine frig, linens, place settings, cooking utensils, etc.). The best part was walking to the beach (13 min walk). Owner provided all beach supplies (chairs, towels, boards, umbrella etc.) so we didn't have to bring our own. Some really good restaurants/cafes within walking distance (10-15 min) along PCH. Park nearby (~5 min walk), perfect for our dog when we didn't make it the beach. WiFi worked great, and never had any issues with street parking. Can't wait to come back.
