Nuestro estudio es perfecto para cualquiera que quiera estar en un entorno tranquilo con el bosque nuboso como patio trasero, vistas panorámicas y jardines tropicales. Recientemente actualizado ofrece cama doble y un balcón privado. Un espacio cómodo con todos los utensilios necesarios para estar en casa, también ofrece una nevera, horno microondas, cocina, baño grande con agua caliente.

Monteverde es un lugar mágico para visitar con áreas protegidas que le permiten explorar con una serie de senderos que cruzan muchos ecosistemas diferentes y que le permiten uno de los lugares más increíbles para ver la vida silvestre, la flora y la fauna. Estamos ubicados en el camino a la reserva de Santa Elena, la vida rural en su mejor momento con todas las comodidades para su estadía. WI FI a través de la propiedad y un corredor biológico para ver aves, mariposas, mamíferos o simplemente para disfrutar de la naturaleza.

The space was really beautiful! The cabin itself was great and the property was really fun to explore. It's right by a creek and sitting on the balcony listening to the creek was so soothing. It's also close to many restaurants and gift shops.

No frills accommodation close to Monte Verde

My husband and I stayed two nights while exploring the Monte Verde area. The apartment has the very basic essentials which is all we needed since most of our time was spent exploring. Oscar was very helpful in recommending restaurants and places to explore and offered to make the reservations for us!

Lovely oasis

Our stay at Casa Balbi was quiet and amazing. Oscar was an incredible host who shared clear and ongoing communication and provided us with some great ideas for places to visit from food to parks to activities in the area. The cabin was just as it is shown in the photo. We lucked out to be given one with an amazing creek view. It is rustic and charming and all the amenities that we needed. Many thanks to Oscar as he is doing a great job as property manager!

What a dream! I really enjoyed my stay here. The property grounds are beautiful with lots of flowers. The room was equally aesthetically pleasing, with tasteful decor that you rarely find in Costa Rica. It also came fully equipped with all the amenities you can think of - full kitchen, hairdryer, etc. I especially loved the private balcony overlooking the jungle stream. The location is excellent, but probably only convenient if you’ll have a car. It’s on the way to the Selvatura Adventure park. Oscar, the host, was extremely helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this place for your stay in Monteverde!

Larry was so great! He directed us to all the best places. What a beautiful stay very close to Santa Elena and Salvaterra. When we come back next time we will for sure be staying with LARRY. A nice ass place to stay man, but how do I get there?

The apartment and location was amazing but we had some trouble getting there as the host didn't communicate with us at all regarding directions to the stay, how to get in, or the wifi password. It was great place to stay and the key was in a lockbox at the front door. Any communication would have been cool though.

Larry and Oscar and Josseline were perfect hosts and we loved our stay at Casa Balbi in Monteverde!! We identified 55 bird species in the yard and nearby trails. Over 200 bird species in province. Gorgeous area but can be cool. We would love to go back.

Overall, an excellent stay

The accommodation was quite large and well equipped. Our host, Larry, was a fount of information about the area. Although we were about two hours late arriving (the roads to Monteverde are winding and unpaved), Larry was waiting for us, which was highly appreciated.

Beautiful and peaceful setting

A great studio apartment on an acreage on the way to Santa Elena Cloud Forest. Beautiful views of the area. Larry is an amazing host! We got so much information from him and everything he recommended was fantastic!! He booked us on the bus up to the cloud forest and made us feel right at home. It would be a good walk into Santa Elena but taxis are available as are buses.

3 night stay in Casa Balbi near Santa Elena in Monteverde, Dec 2016

This is one of the most beautiful places you can stay when visiting in Monteverde. The room is clean and well furnished, exactly as in the photo. The view from the cabin is of the rolling hills. The cabin is well-aerated and sunny. Larry was a wonderful host, very helpful and also very informative, sharing his deep knowledge of the Montverde region. The place is 5 min drive from the downtown, and a short distance to the cloud forest. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or extended.
