Fantastic home, and a great host! My family and I were more than pleased with our stay there over Labor Day weekend. The home accommodated all of our required needs for the weekend, close to the beach, 5 minutes from Main Street, and plenty of room for the family. Would definitely stay there again!

The house had a great layout: bedrooms on the lower floors and an expansive living room, dining area, and kitchen on the top with bucolic views. The pool was in a sunny spot, at the right temperature and a joy to swim in. There was a terrific outdoor eating area by the pool that we took full advantage of. We loved that the three main bedrooms had comfortable king-size mattresses. The towels provided for the bathrooms and pool were plentiful and of very good quality. Last, you couldn’t ask for an easier check-out. The negatives were few, slightly annoying, but all easily fixable. In particular, the kitchen needs to be better appointed with sufficient flatware and plates for a house this size, higher-end small counter appliances, and quality cookware. I read in other reviews about the stairs in the house: we really didn’t mind them however, if you have small children, do think to bring a pressure gate for the top flight exiting the main room. Chris, the property manager, was responsive and extremely pleasant; because the house was so easy to live in, we didn’t need to reach out to him much.All in all, our family had an enjoyable and comfortable stay in this Sag Harbor house.

This home does not resemble the pictures - it is smaller than it appears online with a strange layout on three levels. The furniture in the pictures is not the same as in the photos.We had challenges across the board, from a messy pool (which was quickly fixed) and mildew on the mostly broken inflatables. The pool gets very little sun. The refrigerator wouldn't cool lower than 50 degrees when fully loaded with food and there is no icemaker. The drawers fall out and are cracked and broken.The basement rooms were difficult to keep cool, and the bathrooms were a bit run down. If you have more than a few people taking showers in the morning around the same time, the hot water runs out. Strangely, most of the lamps and some of the chandeliers have only one bulb and one is not connected to or near an outlet.The grills were empty of propane and could not be used.The host, while helpful in responding to our first request to clean the pool, was later defensive.

Great location - lovely house

It’s a really good location, with a beautiful kitchen, tvs everywhere, bbqs in great locations, great pool with lots of toys, it felt like a rental as it had no cleaning suppliers (broom vacuum) kitchen could be better stocked no oil, no paper towels, no chopping boards and we had some issues to start with but the owner was super helpful - all in all it was a good stay. Lots of stairs so do not stay here if that is an issue for you.

Nice property, but not great for all ages

Stayed a long weekend with my in-laws, mother, husband and 5 month old baby. The house is beautiful and located in a very quiet neighborhood, but the property description failed to mention the rooms are spread across 3 floors with steep staircases which we were not conducive for older parents and carrying a baby up and down. All the doors and stairs were quite creaky and loud, making nap time with our baby quite an adventure. Host was attentive although at times I didn't get answers to important questions. All the doors to the exterior are super tricky to lock and one of the doors was faulty and we had to sleep with it unlocked as we couldn't figure out what to do. Kitchen, living and dining area are beautiful and spacious. Beds are super comfy and outdoor spaces are also beautiful, however, just beware that given the lush greenery in the backyard and neighborhood there are lots of insects and critters in the summer. Pool is large but requires constant cleaning due to the amount of dead bugs and fallen leaves. Host mentioned that someone would come to clean the pool but we never saw anyone come during our 5 day stay so we ended up cleaning it ourselves every day. Also please note that as stated in the description, heating the pool is extra (could be hundreds of dollars per day according to the host). This could be a great option for a young and able bodied group looking for a quiet getaway. I wouldn't recommend for children or older relatives.

Great place for a friends getaway

We had a wonderful weekend at this home. The house is beautifully decorated and close to so many things. We enjoyed great restaurants, wineries and museums. The one thing I caution other visitors about is that the living area is on the top floor and access requires climbing stairs.

Wonderful Spot and Host

Booked this place for the weekend and it did not disappoint! The place was exactly as described, clean, cozy, and well-equipped, making my stay very comfortable. Chris was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

Mixed review

When we checked in there was no key to the house and we were told to go through the garage and no key was brought to us. The problem was that one of the bedrooms was in the basement and anyone entering the house would walk through the bedroom that our guest was staying. There was no shampoo or hairdryer in one of the bathrooms. Whoever stays here needs to have no physical needs because the living area was on the third floor. We were supposed to access to the pool, but it was clean and we were told we could heat it if we wanted to or not, but it would not be warm in time for us to use it

Great spot near Sag Harbor

This is a great little gem of a place near all that Sag Harbor has to offer. We spent our weekend poolside relaxing and catching up with old friends. Linens and towels were very clean and fresh, beds were perfect. Chris was very communicative throughout our stay!

This house is perfection. Stayed here with my family of ten. House has everything you need and is extremely clean. Communication with host was always quick and easy. Location can’t be beat. Highly recommend!

Home out of a Movie

The property is the most clean, updated and beautiful we have ever stayed at. The pool is private and surrounded by the most pretty landscape. The kitchen, dining, common area is like a movie set. The balcony, trees and birds is a very relaxing experience. The town and the beach are just five minutes away. The host is very accommodating and very easy to reach. The stay is a true Sag Harbor experience.

The house was just what we were looking for in a winter getaway! Location was perfect about 10 min drive from Sag and about 1 mi from nearest beach to walk (Long Beach). Chris was responsive and easy to contact before and during the trip.

Fall long weekend

Our group of 9 (plus dogs) enjoyed our stay here for our annual Friendsgiving. The house is a short drive to town and we loved the big kitchen/dining area for group meals. There were a few minor issues with the wifi and heating but the owner responded promptly and was able to resolve them. Note that the listing says there is a hot tub but there is not (there is a pool). Overall, I'd recommend this place for a group trip to Sag Harbor!

A week away

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!

Beautiful property. Chris, the owner, is responsive, knowledgeable and takes pride in his home. Everything you will need for an UPSCALE vacation is at your fingertips. We stay at a lot of VRBO properties, this was by far the best. We booked this 6 mos. in advance and would recommend booking early so as not to loose out on this home. Close to all Hamptons, secluded but SAFE.

Sag Harbor is the most charming town in the Hamptons, so we knew this was where we wanted to be. The home is a quick drive away from the town and is also 10 minutes from Bridgehampton and several local wineries, awesome restaurants and of course the beach! The home itself is also awesome just to cozy up in for the day - winter, spring, summer or fall. With spacious bedrooms, entertaining areas, gorgeous kitchen and a lovely outdoor pool, there is no where else you really need to go!
