Wendover Dunes 8139 - 2 Master Bedrooms/Master Baths - Screened Verandah

WENDOVER DUNES, Palmetto Dunes newest neighborhood (completed April, 2002), is located in the prestigious Leamington area next to the Barrington Enclave, just 200 yards to the Atlantic Ocean.

This villa (brand-new April, 2002) features 2 master bedroom suites, each with spa tub, separate shower and walk-in closet. The first master suite by the screened veranda features a King size bed while the second master bedroom also has a King bed and veranda.

The foyer entrance features a half bathroom and hallway to front master bedroom and living/dining room. The open floor plan offers a fully equipped kitchen with Corian counters, 9 ft. ceilings, large living and dining areas professionally designed and luxuriously furnished in the British West Indies style. The living room has a sleeper sofa, large screen TV and internet capabilities. Enjoy the comfort of ceiling fans on the private, full-length, screened verandah.

There are only four units in each of ten buildings in Wendover Dunes. Our villa is a 1st-floor villa with over 1600 square feet of living area. There is covered parking and a landscape view. The beach is only a 3-4 minute walk past the pool and a path between Somerset and Barrington oceanfront complexes.

The shared beautifully designed pool area features a Jacuzzi, separate children's pool, lovely gardens, grill area and direct path to beach. There is private covered parking and secure bicycle storage.

BIKE RENTALS - We have arrangements with Riding Tigers (a Palmetto Bikes Company) to obtain discounted pricing on weekly bike rentals for our guests. In the summer, reservations should be made at least 2 weeks in advance as we run out of bikes every week. Our price includes delivery, pickup, locks and baskets.

BRING YOUR LAPTOP! We have security enabled wireless internet.

This condo was perfect for a week of golf and relaxation. Communication with the owners was easy and they were very accommodating. This is considered a first-floor location but know that there are actually 14 steps to the condo, either from the underground garage or the front parking lot. The reason for less than a 5-star review is the fact that landscapers and their leaf blowers were never-ending. EVERY morning around 9am (so much for a peaceful coffee hour!) the blowers started and continued for an hour or so. Were they trying to blow the pine needles they missed the day before? Well-maintained landscaping is appreciated but the owners should have a talk with the landscape companies.

Another great stay!

This was our 2nd stay at this property. Condo is very clean and well furnished. Love the screened in back patio. Short walk to both pool and beach. Great communication with everyone when we had questions. We will definitely stay again.

We love this place!

We stayed at this villa every year since the pandemic. Planning to come back again. Very clean, beautifully decorated, 5 minute walk to the beach. Great community swimming pool 1 min away from the doorsteps.

Wonderful Vacation

My family had a wonderful experience at this condo. It’s well equipped with a great location. Had a slight issue with the WiFi at the start of the trip & the property manager & owner were quick to respond & assist. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Fantastic Condo

This property is just beautiful. It accommodates a family very comfortably with its 2 large bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, large kitchen, dining area and living room. It has been completely renovated with quality amenities and sits in a quiet area of Palmetto Dunes Resort. The complex has been well maintained and has covered parking. We loved the large, screened in porch and beautiful pool area.

Beautiful unit

The pool area is too shady - the taller trees need to be trimmed back so more than a couple chaises can be in the sun. Next year we're hoping to have our grandchildren with us and hopefully the kiddie pool will be open. The location of Wendover is wonderful.

Hidden Gem in Hilton Head

The condo was perfect ! We had never traveled to Hilton Head before and it didn’t disappoint. The condo was spacious with 2 master suites and well equipped. The pool & beach were only short walks away. We also loved sitting out on the deck at night and watch the 5-6 deer that would graze and walk through the area each night. This condo is the furthest back in Palmetto Dunes so was super quiet and peaceful! Can’t recommend this place enough.

Perfect Stay

Great location and a short walk to the beach. The unit was perfectly clean upon arrival. Both bedrooms and baths were very spacious. Great kitchen with everything you need. Screened porch was a great bonus as well. Overall, a wonderful property that we would love to return to again.

Very good, but…

Excellent property that is well maintained. Unit needed instructions for use of TVs. Also, bedroom TV was missing remote and we didn’t receive any response to inquiry of where to locate remote. For the price of the unit, I expected more than streaming for TV channel options. Also, kitchen cooking utensils and pans were under stocked with the large skillet being totally unacceptable…needs to be thrown away.

Beautiful Space for our vacation

Thank you so much for letting us stay in this beautiful room. The room was large and had everything we needed. The fully stocked kitchen with utensils, coffee maker, and toaster was great. The bathroom and hotub were HUGE and it was nice to come back after a long day at the beach. Thank you so much this place was perfect.

Best Family Vacation

From booking to Check in and check out the process was seamless. The response from the owner was amazing. We also had a period of time when the water was shut off. The owner sent an email prior to and apologize for the inconvenience which was not really an inconvenience as we just planned around it. The fact that they thought to email was very endearing. The entire living space was beautiful and spacious. Everything was is beautifully kept. The walk to the pool and beach was short as well. We made so many amazing memories. Thank you so much!
