Marc does a wonderful job hosting at his property. A great location to access events on campus at Yale & centralized to walk to nearly all the wonderful markets & restaurants. Very quiet street & residential accommodation, Marc has a prime spot for New Haven visitors!

One of the best VRBO experiences I’ve ever had. It is a hike up those outdoor back stairs to the top, but great location, reserved parking space, stocked with snacks, great communication, very comfortable space. Would definitely stay again.

Flawless experience with perfect host

This stay checked all of my boxes for perfect. The communication with Marc, the owner, was easy, clear and kind. The check-in process was also flawless with a lock box allowing us to arrive when it was convenient. He provided extras that we all appreciated: drinks, coffee, fresh filtered water, food, cooking oils and condiments. The apartment was immaculate and the beds were comfortable with nice linens. We could walk around the corner for meals to a very safe area of New Haven and putter around in our free time. We were visiting Yale University for a lacrosse recruiting event and it was 10 minutes to the Yale Bowl and fields. It worked out perfectly for us to access campus and get a feel for the area being in a safe neighborhood.I appreciated how easy it was to communicate with Marc. He even offered us an early check in and reached out to me when I left some items behind. We stay all over the country with VRBO and you would be surprised at how rare it is to have a stand-out, approachable and communicative host. I would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you to Marc.

Lovely Reunion Weekend

My friends and I stayed at Marc's place for a long-weekend during our reunion and had a great time. The location was perfect for accessing events on the campus while giving us a bit more privacy for relaxing. Marc was incredibly communicative and even left drinks/snacks for us at the place. Also the place is very cute and the beds are so comfy! Will definitely come back when in New Haven.

Unit was clean and comfortable. In a safe area, easy access to Yale/within walking distance. The unit comes with a private parking spot, very easy to navigate in and out. Love that the unit has lots of windows for natural lighting and fresh air! Marc is a very gracious host. My son is ending his Junior year at Yale, and I wish I would have known about this VRBO from the time he was a freshman! We would have skipped the hotels and only stayed here on all our visits!

Amazing New Haven Apartment!!

Marc is a superior host, so helpful. Met us on arrival w/a quick tour and lots of recommendations. Great location close to places to eat, walking distance to Yale, quick on/off I91 if driving anywhere outside of NH. Highest recommendation and can’t wait to stay there again

Perfect place to stay

We had a wonderful stay. The owner had prepared everything so well for us, even providing some yummy treats for our stay. The apartment was very close to everything we needed to get to on campus. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for campus accommodation.

New Haven Hospitality

The penthouse has everything you could need for a comfortable stay in New Haven. I loved the patio and beautiful view over the rooftops. The location is fantastic especially if you’re visiting the Yale campus (includes off-street parking). And Marc’s hospitality is unmatched!

Terrific and Convenient Spot to Campus, Great Host

*starting this with a caveat that VRBO can drop the ball and contacting the host before reserving can save you some headaches. With that said, the place was great, Marc was a conscientious and terrific host going above and beyond to make certain our stay was great. It was fantastically convenient to campus and easy walk to most things. Would not hesitate to stay again when visiting and/or working in New Haven.

Great wedding weekend

This penthouse apartment was perfect for my wife and I and our adult daughter when we came to New Haven for a wedding. The space is lovely, and both mornings we enjoyed our tea and coffee on the outdoor terrace. It's a lovely quiet neighborhood and only about a 15 minute walk to Yale old campus. Marc was wonderful about sharing information and check in details, and the milk and snacks he left meant we didn't need to go out for anything! A wonderful stay in a really wonderful place!

Great apartment in a great location

This was our second time staying at Marc’s lovely property. Nice apartment in a great location, exactly as pictured. Marc is a wonderful host who left lots of goodies for our family to enjoy and was very easy to communicate with. We look forward to returning next time we are in town!

Home away from home

We had an amazing stay at the condo. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bedrooms had great storage for our things and the beds were very clean. I am a very picky person and I was happy. The host Marc was by far the best host anyone could wish for when visiting a city. He communicated with us very effectively and left a variety of drinks and snacks. He even left us a card welcoming us to his place. We were in town visiting our son who is a freshman at Yale. We have traveled all over the world and I can honestly say Marc was my favorite host and this place is my new home away from home. Thank you Marc for making everything so wonderful for us.

The apartment was clean and spacious . Marc had it well stocked with some delicious treats and coffee/seltzer/ water. He was easy to contact , and check in and out were simple. The stairs up to the apartment were challenging but a good work out. We loved the patio to sit out in the morning or evening. The sunsets were beautiful. The only reason I didn’t give it all 5 stars is because the other people in the building didn’t keep their place as nice Marc and you could see their apartments from the patio. Would recommend the Penthouse and Marc.

Outstanding accommodation

The property is superior to others at which we have stayed. Both in our early 70s, we found Marc, the landlord, to be exceptionally helpful, the property was beautifully appointed and perfectly positioned for walking to Yale and the shopping centre. We will definitely be repeating our stay.

Great location near to everything

We really enjoyed out stay, the apartment was in a great location, close to everything and very safe. When we arrived it as already stocked with essentials which was really helpful as we arrived quite late. The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. Amazing Bagel restaurant "Begelry" was 3min walk and was fantastic for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to New Haven!

The apartment comes with the use of a private parking space.
