¿Está buscando una escapada que está cerca, pero se siente muy lejos? Si es así, considere "Tiempo fuera de la mente" en Smith Lake. Ubicado en Bankhead Forrest, ubicado entre Addison y Arley en el condado de Winston, está a una distancia de 1 ½ de Shoals o 2 horas de Birmingham o 3 horas de Memphis o 4 horas de Atlanta.

La casa se ha alquilado para reuniones familiares, escapadas románticas, retiros de grupos pequeños, torneos de pesca, bodas y mucho más. La casa puede alojar a familias numerosas o inquilinos individuales.

• Sala de juegos completa con mesa de billar de tamaño completo y tablero de dardos
• Muelle del barco con un resbalón adicional para su juguete acuático. Embarcación de acceso en el barrio. Una rampa de grava puede requerir 4WD
• Dado que este es nuestro "hogar lejos del hogar", está completamente amueblado y tiene todas las comodidades que pueda necesitar.

Importante: Gran parte de la decoración y el paisaje de las imágenes ha cambiado desde que se tomaron estas imágenes. Actualmente estamos refrescando la decoración. Nuevas fotos anticipadas para abril de 2019.

Enjoyed everything about this property and our stay, i.e. beautiful quiet cove, nice dock for a boat and swimming, spacious and fun house, and the neighbors were even nice. I recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay at the lake.

Going away gathering

There were a combined 4 families ( some related, some were dear friends) together for my daughter that will be going on a year long military deployment. Excellent property for a large group. The house has plenty of room for everyone to have their own space . The weather wasn’t the best, so we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit and only grilled out once due to rain.

Great location for our family thanksgiving get together

The house was exactly as described and it was perfect for 6 adults and 4 children. Everyone had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the couple of trails by the house.

Perfect Lake Getaway

This is our third time staying at this Smith Lake house. It's a wonderful retreat with enough space for my extended family to gather. We love the peacefulness of the location, the screened porch, and the game room. This house has everything we need, and we look forward to going back next year.

Family Vacation

First family vacation we have planned. This property was great. It is not in the middle of the lake where all the boat traffic was, which was great for us. Not a far boat ride to the cliffs. We had an amazing trip. We will definitely be staying here again!

Family vacation

This is our second time staying at time out of mind and will not be the last! We fall in love with the lake and location more and more! There was plenty of space for 6 adults and 7 kids. Dish’s and cookware are plentiful two refrigerators a commercial ice maker in the basement was a great addition to avoid trips in and out of town. The owners were quick with suggestions when we had to pull our boat out of the water for a repair (I hope this doesn’t happen to you but if it does I HIGHLY recommend Vinson Marine) the only problem we had was that our stay came to an end and we had to come back to reality! I wish I could give the location 10 stars!

Holiday Getaway

Time Out of Mind is very remote; and once off the main road, it’s very rough with potholes. BUT you arrive at a house that sits on the bank of the MOST picturesque little creek you could ever imagine. Even in winter we enjoyed the kayaks. Restaurants are few and far between, so be prepared; and you’ll probably want to bring your own favorite cookware. Also, bring your favorite family games, and you can truly put “time out of mind”.

Perfect Lake Retreat

Lovely property with awesome dock, great game room, beautiful landscaping, big deck and screened in porch. This house has everything you need. We roasted marshmallows at the fire pit, swam, boated, and played games. The owner is so accommodating and responsive. He helped us with all our requests. We’ll definitely rent this house again!

Great vacation

The place is nice . It could definitely need a good cleaning . The price ia reasonable amd it has a pool table! The views are nice from balcony. The dock and water are nice. We had a great time and the owners were very easy with. We had no problems. We loved the pool table and the lake!

Best of the best!

Our group rents on smith lake all the time and this house is my favorite for many reasons! Great location- less traffic on the water, beautiful around the house and not a bad walk to the water. House itself- fully stocked linens closet that accommodates extras and makes you comfortable, all bedrooms were wonderful, 2 full kitchens, screened in porch!!! Stocked kitchen, air conditioning for each floor that worked perfectly, huge dining table that we were used nightly, pool table, beautiful view. Owners- super easy to deal with. We will def be back to this one!!! Bonus-Plus, we rented jet skis & pontoon from Bum Jett Ski Rentals- they delivered to nearest boat ramp which was in our neighborhood!

Beautiful Vacation Property!

This property is a quiet, beautiful place to meet with your friends and family for a peaceful vacation. The beds are comfortable, the views are spectacular and the house is perfect. The kitchen comes with everything you need to cook all your delicious meals.

Very nice stay

We had a very nice stay. Weather could have been better but it's a short walk to the dock so we enjoyed what we could. The area is very remote which was nice for swimming and floating around. There are some areas too that you can dock a boat or kayak and get out to explore. The house was great. Perfect size for all of us. The out door speakers really came in handy for football days and playing on the dock.

Fabulous lake house for our Extended Family

This lake house was perfect for meeting our family/cousins for Labor Day weekend. The cousin kids loved sleeping in the bunk room. The dock and swimming area was perfect for floating. We rented a pontoon boat and had a blast exploring this unique lake. The house has everything any large group would need. The owner was very responsive to our questions and accommodating. We will definitely rent here again! Loved the screen porch and the game room.

Great Lake house

We enjoyed our stay at Time Out of Mind! House is as described. Everything you need is included. We shuttled 32 folks in and out over a week. 1st had a birthday party, then the girls high school basketball team stayed a few days for their 2nd annual End of Summer Trip, then another side of the family came in. When we had the 14 girls there- we had more than plenty of room! This house has the biggest/best washer dryer ever! Every few days I was washing bedding before a new group came in… it held several sets of sheets at a time! Having an oven downstairs and upstairs helped when cooking for large groups! A few negatives I can say, was driving in on a gravel road getting the boat dirty…but, most homes around the lake are on gravel roads. Last negative was being far out from marinas- it’s a 30 minute boat ride to either Lakeshore or Duncan Bridge… But, a small price to pay for a great trip!

Multi Generation Family Vacation

The house was all and more than we expected. Plenty of room for all 13 of us to comfortably sleep, cook and bathroom space. The dock and swimming area were fantastic, great place to moor the boat. Pool table and game room on the lower level gave the kids plenty of things to do, never a boring moment!! A great screened in porch for the adults to relax after the young ones were down for the night!!

The house was clean there was plenty of space. Walking from the house to the lake was wonderful for the people that wanted to do that. The neighbors were great. We enjoyed the stay

As a young married couple, we started coming to Smith Lake in 2000 with good friends. We would spend weekends primitive camping, boating, playing in the water and basking in the sun. We quickly realized that lake weekends were the BEST! That inspired us to buy our lot in 2005 and build our home in 2008. We love the remote location surrounded by nature's peaceful beauty. April - October, we spend our time on the lake. The rest of the year, we enjoy hiking around nearby Bankhead National Forest and skipping rocks across the lake. This is our home away from home!
